The Count Family's Young Master

The Count Family's Young Master
Chapter 45 - He came for you (3)

"They will work for you from now on, Miss Durah" Valias said with a small smile on her face. "We want to go to another location."

Because Hayden's children were not only at Solossa's border but also at the royal manor's residence. Little nobleman. Who doesn't have enough money to hire a regular waiter. They used children to serve them.

Valias turned around. Sharing a glance with one of Kei's group members. A woman named Kaira. Who shared a smile with him.

'Give it to us', his eyes said.

Valias is leaving that place with Kei and Alister. While Vetra went to take the children in front of Hayden's palace. When the voice of Durah attracts everyone's attention.

"Master!" He called out. He took a quick step towards Valias. More precisely towards Kei. The whip she rolls and she puts it in her dress skirt. "This sir, may I know where you're going?" ask her with a softened voice.

Valias was confused by the woman's curiosity. But still respond. "What would you do if we told you, miss."

"I–" Durah rolled his eyes at Kei. Which was instantly reciprocated with flat eyes by the man. To be exact, dark eyes. But Durah was not afraid and instead felt tempted. "I can help you if you want to take care of those kids again, Mister. I know a few things about them. These included nobles who employed children as their slaves. I can be a favor to you."

Valias didn't expect that. Inquired. "Then what kind of rewards do you want to get?"

Durah smiled shyly. She moved her hair behind her ears. Glancing towards Kei. Valias realized that and fell silent. Slowly the ruckus was about to come out but he was arrested.

Kei is a charming young man. It is said in the novel that Kei is more handsome than Frey. Kei as the main character is very interesting for the female characters. Often referred to in the story. But Durah is not one of them. That's because Kei shouldn't have met him. Kei is meeting Durah now because there is Valias. Valias wondered what other changes would arise as a result of his existence.

Valias hopes for good things. Because his main goal was Hayden's victory. Or at least everyone's safety.

No one can die. Valias won't let that happen. "I, if I may wish, work for the master." replied Durah timidly.

"Working?" ask Valias.

"Yes." Yeah." Durah. "Servant Master and, this master is working for you, right? I'd like to work for you too."

Confidence gushed from his eyes. Kei frowning. Alister raised his eyebrows.

Valias felt Kei would be distracted so he straightened out. "He's my servant." Valias pointed at Alister with his hand. "But this guy is not. He's just my partner." Valias wonders. "Are you going to help with our business, miss?"

Durah. "Yes! I'm sure I can be a help for you. Uh... How can I call you sir?"

Valias. "Ammon. It's Rei and Ruth." Valias appoints Kei then Alister. Creating a name for both of them.

Durah. "I'm Durah. I am a merchant who used to be from the nobility of Viscount Burk. Something, happened and eventually I became a merchant here. Me, I can definitely be a favor to you, Mr. Amon. I know all the nobles who are in Solossa." said Durah sure. Inviting war was also Valias' admiration. He then smiled and nodded.

"alright. Miss can help us."

"Are you sure, young master?"

"You know what you just said?"

Alister and Kei's voices came in turn. Valias nodded his head.

Even if they refuse to trust Durah, why not see what he can do and use it while they can?

"Tell us, miss."

Durah heard that immediately smiled widely. Glancing Kei. The red color is blushing her cheeks. Kei realized that and frowned dislikefully.

Durah led them away from his storehouse. Leaving behind Kei's bewildered-faced friends over a situation change that was not in their conjecture. They feel that Durah needs to be watched out for but then they realize that there is Kei on the woman's side. Their leader, or rather the person they considered the leader because of his strength, would kill the woman if she showed suspicious gestures. Kei was a man full of vigilance and suspicion. This makes him cautious.

Which if Valias finds out the contents of Kei's friends' minds, Valias will be made to laugh. Because Kei was not a cautious person but rather a person who did not hesitate to kill someone if the man did not like them. He was the one who did not hesitate to kill even a king. It was not an act of caution, but rather an action that came out caring and fearless.

Is correct. Kei is a fearless person. He does whatever he wants. There was no barrier for him.

That's how Valias sees Kei.

When they had returned to the highway, the first place they had appeared, where the tavern where the first two people had been seen could be seen from where they stood, Durah spoke.

"We can use the chariot, Mr. Amon."

Valias turned to him. "Horse train?"

"Yes. Although not as good as a horse carriage as it should be, let alone a horse carriage commonly used by Mr. Amon, but this horse carriage is a carriage that I used to use, but, and it should be able to help you in coming to the nobles you want to go to." Said Durah timidly.

Valias listened to Durah and agreed. They cannot travel on foot.

Durah took them to a building. A building is like a residence. The door is made of wood and the building is made of cement walls without a luxury. A simple residence. Which would be the model of the dwelling Abimala would live in if he were a person who came from this world.

Next to the building was a horse carriage without horses. Wooden cars without roof. Like a flat wagon and equipped with wooden boards as a seat.

"I need to pair the horses first, Mr. Amon." He gave a smile. Leaving Valias and Kei as well as Alister to the back of the building. Not long after, he appeared with two horses. Pairing the bridle from the carriage to the neck of the horse as well as the body of the horse.

Valias can see it. That woman can't do it alone. He moved to help but a hand first blocked him.

"Let me, young master Amon." Alister's smile on him. On one hand seduces Valias on the name she gives to herself. Valias put on a wry smile. He sees Alister who helps Durah in pairing the horse on the carriage.

"Do you know how to put a harness on a horse, Kei?" Valias asked. A slanted smile adorned his face.

Kei glanced at him indifferently. Then back facing forward watching the movements of Alister and Durah who often glanced at him with a shy smile.

Valias feels like he wants to chuckle. Because he already knows the answer. Kei doesn't know. In the novel Radja once told him to put a horse harness and Kei just stay in place with a dark face. Inviting the flabbergasted face of Radja. The big man then laughed.

"So apparently there's something you can't do. Good to know." That's the dialogue Radja says in the book. After seeing and hearing Radja's voice firsthand, Valias could imagine how Radja in the book uttered that line of dialogue.

Kei sat with Valias on the left side, while Durah sat on the other side. With cheeks always blushing take a glance at Kei. Kei realized all those glances and felt annoyed. He threw away face. Valias realizes it and can only smile funny.

Valias took out a shaved pouch from under the cloak. Take a paper roll out of there. Open it in front of himself.

It was a list that showed the number of children Hayden had already sent out. Only to the kingdom of Solossa. It can be seen from the date that the sale of children has not happened for so long. Making the number of children who have been sold is not too much. The number is 60 children. Fifteen of them were in Durah's warehouse. Forty-five other children will soon be found by Valias.

"The first one is Baron Ringen, the young master. I'll take you to his residence."

Valias heard Durah speak. Also how to call himself. It seems he heard Alister's call to him.

Valias put on a smile. "Is that so? Is it far from here?"

"No. The residence is closest to this area. It's true that Hayden's children mostly gather here. The nobles who bought them were nobles not far from here." Durah Papar.

Valias nodded. Durah glanced at Kei and saw that the young man was looking at him. Watching, more precisely. His eyes are full of caution. It was as if he was ready to draw his sword that beheaded Durah if the woman showed any suspicious gestures. But instead of fearing Durah just feel blushed. He covered his cheeks with his hands. It was as if with that her cheek hue would disappear or at least be invisible to the person in front of her.

"How long have you lived here, miss."

Valias opens the conversation. Durah has said. That he was from the nobility of Viscount Burk. Not a name familiar to Valias but appropriate to invite curiosity.

"I am, two years old, young master. Not so long." He put on a sympathetic smile. His shoulders looked slumped. Probably remembering some less than pleasant things. "I live alone in this city."

Valias raises his eyebrows. But then decided not to ask further. He wanted to respect the woman's past. Which might not be so much fun.

"May I ask you a few things?" Durah raised his face. Both hands were folded over his thighs.

"Please." Valias' response.

"Are these young masters really the messengers of king Hayden? Your Excellency Chalis? Or his highness Frey?"

The words of Durah made Valias know that the news of Chalis' death was not disseminated. The kingdoms of the Reiss continent have no diplomatic relations or anything. Each kingdom takes care of its own territory without the interference of outside kingdoms or cooperation with other kingdoms. All needs are met by each kingdom itself. There could only be some actions beyond the knowledge of the palace as happened between Arlern and the nobles in the border area of Solossa. The sale of the child should not have taken place and the interaction between the royal residents should not have existed. Viscount Arlern did something he was not supposed to do. Soon Valias will make someone deal with that noble.

"That's how."

Valias answered but Durah looked dissatisfied. Valias started to smile. You know the woman will ask you another question.

"Is the master from a noble family? Maybe a duke, a count, a marquis, or a viscount."

Durah gave his question and Valias smiled.

"What does the lady want to know?"

"I, it is unnatural for a non-noble to gain the trust of the king. But the master did not introduce himself as a noble and instead as a messenger of the king. Does the master have any reason to hide his identity?"

Durah asked doubtfully. Valias smiles.

"You're a smart woman, Miss Durah."

The woman was beyond Valias' expectations. It seems that she is the daughter of a noble who is smart and clever in finding a way to survive. He is not easily fooled and is quite meticulous and vigilant. Durah is a noble princess who will be the pride of her noble family.

Valias answered. "It's true I have an identity that I'm hiding. Is there anything that the lady wants to know again?"

There's a few seconds. Before the woman finally opened her mouth.

"Is the lord planning to do something to the kingdom of Solossa?"

Valias raised his eyebrows still with a smile on his face.

"Why does she think so?"

"Master bothered to come to Solossa. Using a hidden identity. There must be something you're planning. Maybe you have a plan to do something to the nobles in Solossa, as well as people like me. Which has something to do with those kids." he explained.

Kei felt alert and carried his hand clasping the handle of the sword. But Valias' voice stopped him.

"Miss right. There's something we're planning."

Alister who was sitting in front with the steering wheel harness hooked his ears to hear what Valias was going to say.

Durah clenched his hands. "Would anything happen to Solossa?"

Valias. "What's on my mind?"

Durah put his palm on the other hand. "Will Hayden take Solossa? Adding territory? Destroying from within? Started war?"

Kei again held his sword. Ready to pull. Valias is back. This time there was a little bit of a bit of a twist.

"No. We don't have that intention, miss. We just want to recapture Hayden's children and give a little punishment to the royals who have used our Hayden children" he explained. "If we had such intentions, what would she do?"

Durah was silent before answering. "I will take the strongest side. Finding a way to survive. No need to save anyone else. Enough survival for yourself" he said. "If sir... Hayden, having the intention to do something to Solossa, then I want to be on your side. I will show loyalty. Working for Hayden to survive."

Valias asked. "Miss will betray her own kingdom?"

Durah smiled wryly. "I find no happiness in this kingdom. It's a rotten kingdom. If you want to bring down the kingdom of Solossa then I will help."

Durah looked at Valias with eyes full of confidence. "I hope to destroy the nobility of Solossa."
