The Heart of Vania

The Heart of Vania
Manipulative Woman

PoV Abyan Pratama's

On the way to Vivian's house, I called an emergency ambulance call Pradipta Hospital where Vivian was working as a medic.

"You're safe now. Your colleagues will take good care of you," I said as I walked hand in hand with Vivian after Doctor Indra - her husband - was in the gurney and pushed into the ambulance.

"Yes, thank you I don't know what if there's no you."

I feel sorry to see how he is now. Hair is messy, thin body with a distended stomach like a person affected by a hungry pussy, plus a mental condition due to 'rejection' from the family of her husband after marriage.

"I'm sorry, Vania's waiting for me" I said.

He paused for a moment then said very weakly, "Can you accompany me for a while in the hospital? My husband's family will definitely come and blame me again."

I am perverted, on the one hand I feel very guilty with Vania - destroying our memories in the future - but I also cannot help but ignore this woman beside me.

"The ambulance is leaving soon!" the ambulance driver told us.

"I beg ..."

"..."

"Where they can't be, many of your colleagues there will protect you."

"There's nothing I can count on like you, Yan."

"..."

Titt ... Tiiittt ...

The long horn is rung twice in a sign that the driver is impatiently waiting.

"Then I'll just stay home if you can't keep me company."

"You should go to the hospital, check your condition is getting thinner. Pregnant women don't look good looking skinny, pity the baby."

He just stared at the floor, finally with a heavy heart I obeyed his will, "Alright, I'm coming along. I'll just keep you company until your husband's family comes."

The dimpled woman nodded. I just left the car in front of Vivian's house and went straight into the ambulance because the driver honked again. All the way we just kept quiet, I don't know what he was thinking. The clear– my mind is now just filled with the snow-white girl I left on her first date.

"I'm sorry I ruined your Sunday night" she opened the conversation

"It's okay. Vania is a very understanding girl. I'll tell him first,"

Kurogoh jacket pocket– no, pants– pocket also no. Holy hooch! My phone was left in the car.

"My phone is missing" I muttered, which she heard.

"I don't have a cell phone with me either" he said.

"It's okay. Arriving at the hospital I'll borrow the receptionist's phone" I smiled.

"..."

"I envy them" he lamented.

"They?"

"Tisha and her sisters. They can all get a sincere-hearted man."

"..."

"Ah, sorry. I don't understand what I'm talking about Don't take it, '" said Vivian quickly rectified her speech just now.

"..."

"Lucky your husband has a doctor's wife. At a critical moment he can get first aid," I said staring at the unconscious Doctor Indra.

"Fortunately also your woman, has a caring man."

I was awkward but tried not to look awkward, but I meant saying just now just to raise her confidence in front of her husband's family not to offend me.

Arriving at the hospital, medics swiftly give action to patients who have just arrived. We waited in front of the check room which directly faced the open garden. Actually I'd like to excuse myself for a moment to the receptionist call Vania but do not know why there is a request Vivian that makes me undo my intentions.

"You want to wear my jacket?" I bargained for seeing him shiver a little cold.

She nodded and accepted the jacket I gave her, "Don't stress, it's not good for your baby" I said.

"I won't be stressed if I'm accompanied by you."

"..."

"WHERE'S MY SON!"

I gasped at the loud voice that was leading to us. Vivian's eyes widened to see her mother-in-law accompanied by a young woman beside her. Reflex he clasped my arm.

"YOU!" point the middle-aged woman in front of Vivian's face, "WHAT ELSE DID YOU DO TO INDRA, HUH?"

"..."

Vivian did not answer a word so scared.

"Sorry Madam, allow me to explain." I said take the initiative.

The eyes of the two narrowed, then the Mother-in-law said, "You're Assistant Yan, aren't you?"

I nodded with a smile, "True Madam, Vivian is my friend. He called me to help him bring your son here because he suddenly lost consciousness."

The two women looked at each other before the younger one said, "Master, you better get away from her. My sister got into her trap, she's really manipulative. This woman is a snake-headed demon– every talk is a ruse."

I frowned, as much as they hated the mother of their future grandchildren. I felt Vivian's hand tighten her hand on my arm.

"Maybe some of you have family issues to work out," I said slowly taking Vivian's hand off my arm and said to her, "I'll say goodbye first. Talk to them from heart to heart. I'm sure all this is just a misunderstanding."

Vivian shook her head and her eyes began to water, suddenly ...

BRUISES.

My eyes widened in shock at the sight of Vivian's frail body falling to the floor.

"DOCTOR! SISTER!" my panicked cry grabbed his weakly rolled body helplessly.

.

.

.

"I was so scared to meet them. You see for yourself, how evil their mouths accuse me of all sorts" said Vivian sobbing after rumbling in the hospital room.

I sighed, I did not want to interfere in Vivian's matters with her husband's family.

"Importantly, your husband still loves you. Slow down, I'm sure their hearts will soften."

He shook his head and wiped his tears. My heart fidgets after glancing at the watch on the wrist. Time showed me nearing midnight, which meant that I had left my fiancee alone for quite a while.

"Sorry, Vivian. I can't keep you here all night. I have to go home, poor Vania alone waiting for me without news," I said as I stood ready to leave.

"Tung– Sorry. Who am I to ask you to accompany me."

Honestly ... I'm already uncomfortable with this kind of situation, Vivian is relying on me more and more. Inwardly, I confirmed Vania's sentence before leaving.

I smiled, keeping her from being offended, "You can call your family on Island S, have them come to accompany you until you are in a really good condition. I can only help you get here. To be honest I've crossed the line from a distance I shouldn't have crossed. You're somebody's wife and I don't have a family relationship with you, later your own image goes bad in people's eyes."

He was silent, as if he didn't like it or I don't know– I don't know either.

"Then lend me this jacket," she asked, pointing to the jacket she was wearing.

I nodded, "Wear it if you need it. Take care of yourself and your baby."

I exited the room while thinking about how I would go home because in addition to my phone, my wallet was also left in the car I parked in front of Vivian's house.

"Assistant Yan!"

I turned around, sister-in-law Vivian called out to me. He came to me alone with a plastic bag.

"Where is he?"

"Vivian?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"By being treated in Rose room 04" I replied.

He took a long breath. "Before Vivian knew Young Master Pradipta her attitude was very sweet on all of us. But somehow he became a different person after claiming to know all the families of Young Master Pradipta. We were hesitant to continue the marriage of Vivian and Indra, but my sister loved her very much and asked to speed up the wedding day. It turns out that after they got married, we found out that she was a little 'weird'."

"Any?"

"Smart Vivian twists facts. The snake woman could make the person she appointed become cornered with her own version of the story. Thou know? All of a sudden we were branded as an evil family who did not want to accept it because he came from a small town on the island of S even Indra also thought badly of us because of his venomous mouth."

Holy hooch! Why am I caught in their trouble? I don't know who's right, I just want to get back to Grey Savanna Restaurant.

"I'm sorry, my fiance is waiting. I can't stay here for long."

"Ah yes ... Excuse me. I just wanted to tell you to be careful with Vivian. He looks innocent but his personality is very complicated."

I smiled, "Thank you." Then I went to the receptionist to borrow the phone.

"Hello, Grey Savanna Restaurant. This is Assistant Yan. Is Miss Pradipta still there?"

.

"Well! Whaaat! Where the hell is he?"

.

"alright. Thanks."

I remember for a minute, thinking where did he go? Going home? By himself? What if Ray finds out his beloved sister's coming home alone? Immediately I pressed the number button on the phone plane.

08915688–

Aarggghhhh! I don't remember the number. I think I want to slam this phone plane so upset with myself.

"Sir, can you order ojek online? My wallet and phone are missing" I asked Mbak Receptionist.

"Where can you go, sir?"

"Doctor Vivian's House."

The receptionist gawked, then responded, "Good."

.

.

.

Immediately I grabbed my phone after opening the car door. There's a message from Vania.

Brother's waiting for you in his study. Don't ask me, I won't answer.

I clasped my phone tightly. Ray knows I left Vania and he's definitely asking for an explanation right now. But that's not really what I'm worried about. I can face my best friend's anger, but not his wife's. I would have lost face if Mrs Pradipta had known.

The message was just that I responded with an 'OK' word before stepping on the gas pedal. Vania is neither a spotty nor a whiny girl, so Ray must have known it by chance. Speaking of Vania– I miss him now.

I passed the road where there is an angkringan that is still crowded visited. Some young men laughed and jiggled happily as if celebrating something. If only I had spent the night with my fiancee, our hearts would have cheered like them. Guilt attacks me blindly.

.

.

.

I knocked on the door of Young Master Pradipta's study.

"Lake in." A voice from within ordered me to enter

The door hasn't opened perfectly but Mom's voice has been loud shouting my name. Seeing her walk towards me was scarier than any horror movie I've ever seen.

"Continuing to apologize to someone who can always forgive is the stupidest thing a man like you ever did. You think you're great? You lowered yourself in his eyes" my mother whispered softly but like a sharp dagger wielding all the organs in my body.

"Aunt me, excuse me for a break, sir," said Mother before leaving the room.

I caught a glimpse of Vania sitting on the sofa while Ray in his work chair was facing the laptop. I took a sitting position opposite my fiancee. His bead explored my body, suddenly he asked "Where is your jacket?"

"..."

The jacket was borrowed Vivian, ah wrong .. I left it in the car, I should have answered so. Ah, why are my lips so faint that I can't say anything to answer her question. Sh*it!

"Why did you leave my sister until she had to be with Nezar on her first date? I told you to bring him back home whole like you took him away," said Ray standing behind Vania, from his body language showed protection for his sister-in-law but what caught my attention was the name the Smelly Boy was called.

"Nissar? You were with him on a–"

"I'm asking you, Abyan!" hardik Ray to me gripped the sofa backrest to control his emotions.

I understood his anger and tried to understand, "He needs my help. I just took her husband to the hospital and calmed him down a bit. Not more."

"Who?" ray asked coldly, I knew he was holding back his emotions.

"Vivian," I answered briefly.

"YOU!"

Rayyendra pulled my collar and was ready to punch me in the face. I didn't run away, I felt I deserved it.

"SISTER! STOP THAT!"

When I resignedly received my sister's raw bogem, Vania held Ray's arm until it was like hanging on her sister-in-law's arm.

"Stop, Brother. I beg ..." he pleaded with earnest.

I'm stunned to not believe he did this. By her nature, she must have let Ray hit me. In contrast to Litha - her female brother - who would definitely prevent any form of violence before her eyes.

Ray smashed into my body violently, "You still hold a taste for that doctor even though he's married? Do you want to be a man's wife snatch, huh?"

Whahuh?

Why would Ray think that? I have decided not to like Vivian since she got married. Therefore, I try not to dispel the strange feelings that just appeared for the girl who owned my first kiss, Vania.

"I'm just helping him" I replied lightly without a burden. Yeah, because I'm just really sorry, there's nothing else.

"Oh yeah? Silly enough, with her fairly wide relations, she could only ask you for help? There's only two possibilities, you're still hoping for him or your brain to short-circuit!"

Goddamnit! This selfish brat intimidated and cursed me in front of Vania.

"Ray, her life after marriage is hard to explain." I try not to get caught up in Ray's explosive emotions.

All at once his feet pointing fast would kick me, but no less quickly Vania caught the legs of her sister-in-law and held back with all her might.

"NO!"

Ray and I called her name together, and she seemed to grimace a little. Is he hurt? I wanted to get close to her but Ray immediately held her back to the sofa.

"You all right? What's up to you?" ray asked worriedly, just like me.

Vania shook her head, with great annoyance Ray scolded her, "Stupid! You shouldn't have gotten in my way!"

"Sister, can you, talk about it well?"

My God, I feel more guilty about this girl. Now he's showing his mature self– no longer explodes like the first time I knew him.

Ray's eyes collided with me, "Now I ask. How did you react, Yan? Leaving your own fiancee for another married woman, when you could have told someone else. Whatever your reasons, it's unethical to be seen from any side."

I knew I was wrong, so guilty my tongue stiffened to speak.

"Your engagement is over here" Rayyendra said coldly.

"Ray!" my call does not accept.

I don't want to break off this engagement. I–

I saw my fiancee just shut up, did she agree to it? Oh, naw! I have to do something.

"Why? It's not that you should be happy, you can escape the bond that Vania made," Ray said.

Good thing you're the sister-in-law of my fiancee, otherwise I can't be as satirical as you can be.

"I don't want to break off this engagement. I'm starting to like your sister, Ray," I said at last.

"..."

"Mahaha ...."

Ray's laughter rang out, but not for long, "Then why do you still care about Vivian?" tanyanya sharp.

"Pity. I only felt sorry for her for taking care of her sick husband who was pregnant alone. Her husband's family doesn't care a bit about her, instead accusing her of being a no-no" I said.

I can't keep quiet, I don't want this engagement to end tonight.

"Wow! Just incredible! So much love that it's not clear what the boundary of your care is between the person you once liked and the one you like now" Ray said, applauding. "Tomorrow I will fire the doctor and publish a poor recommendation on his performance so that he cannot work in any hospital in the Capital and beyond."

Whahuh? He's nuts!

"You should know how I deal with something that I don't like, right, Yan? Have you forgotten who your fiance is? He has the name Pradipta behind his name" said Ray arrogantly.

"But you can't be that human either, Ray! Vivian is pregnant and her husband is seriously ill. Instead they need a lot of moral and material help," I said twitching.

"If they need help, you can register them in Pradipta's social foundation to receive help."

I can't stand it anymore, Rayyendra is really testing my emotional limits. He thought I could be treated as he pleased. I am indeed his subordinate but in friendship– we become equal. I stood up to challenge his arrogance, wanting to see to where he could be at heart.

"You are indeed his superhero, Abyan Pratama," said Vania to stand up and go forward to fend off my gaze that pierced the bead of his sister-in-law.

I was so shocked to hear Vania mention my full name. This is the first time he's called me that.

"As your fiancee I will help you persuade Brother to abandon his intention of firing Doctor Vivian. Sit down and take care of your attitude towards my brother. It's not worth it that you want to attack him. If that happens, then it's me you're dealing with frankly."

Oi! This little girl dared to threaten and rule me, but– let me do what she wants.

"Sister, can I ask you something?" the question is Ray.

"What?"

"This "engagement continued until such time as the initial agreement. What I have started I will finish. What's happened, I take it as a consequence."

I was amazed and also happy, it felt like I wanted to dance in front of Ray who had mocked me just now.

"Please, it will further strengthen the reason I fired him– so as not to become a thorn in your relationship."

What the fuck! This Arrogant Young Master started discussing it again?

Vania looked at me and revealed her smile - a smile full of bitterness.

"Sister, there's no need to fire him. Firing an employee pregnant for personal reasons would create a bad image of Pradipta Corp. and be the target of public criticism."

"But Nia, it'll–" Ray argued.

"Hurt me? No problem, I'm nicknamed Xena by my family there's a reason. One of them is facing this situation."

"You sure?"

"With humanitarian reasons– I'm sure, Brother." Vania's beautiful eyes gnawed a smile towards me again– a different smile than before, "All right, Mr. My Assistant?"

Uhuk.

"My Assistant Master?" asked Ray in shock.

"Yes, my call was for him, hehehe ...."

"Sad."

My heart rippled, it turned out that his heart was as big as his older sister's. I couldn't resist the turmoil in my chest, "Nia, I'm sorry" I said in the end.

"It's okay. There is still plenty of time to repeat our date again. Hopefully at that time he did not ask for your help again, take her to give birth for example, hahaha ..." he joked with a smile that was still fluffy.

"If it happens again, I'll make sure tomorrow he'll never wear a doctor's suit again" Ray said.

"No way, Brother. My fiancee would reject him whenever there was a plea for help. Isn't that right, Mr. My Assistant?"

"Yes" I replied briefly.

"Oh yeah, one more. Don't let Litha know what happened tonight, sister. Let her know that we spent my first date having fun" she asked Ray again.

"You want to keep it a secret from him?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Why?"

"The same reason that Brother told me," he replied, "My distress and that of Sister Tisha is his burden. He was already burdened enough by always thinking about Uncle Tino and Aunt Rima whose whereabouts were unclear to date. So, at least I can reduce the burden a little."

"..."

"All right, if that's what you want. You remember, right? Your sister once said, we will always support your happiness, Nia– whatever it is. Never hesitate to step."

Vania nodded, "It's over, right? Can I go to the room now?"

"Yes, rest. Dream beautiful because you've had a bad day" replied Ray.

Just this time I was beaten. True said Mother, continuing to apologize to people who can always forgive is the most stupid action I ever did. I humbled myself in front of my fiance.

"Yan, I'm very disappointed. I can't imagine Litha's disappointment in knowing this. At the moment Vania is still keeping your pride in the eyes of the older sister she respects the most" Ray said after Vania came out.

"I know, Ray."

"He likes you a lot, but if you can't get back his feelings don't hurt him."

"Fuck you, Ray! That's what I said back when you hurt your wife, too."

"Sometimes we need someone else to see the side that's behind because we only have eyes that look forward."

"Since when have you been so wise?" I was half-literate.

"Since Litha gave me a child."

"Ck. It's also because Firza is resuscitating you."

"Yes, just think of the position of Nezar like the position of Firza at that time– is always there when needed. Lucky I'm not too late, Litha still leaves love and a chance for me to fix everything."

"Hahaha ... It could have been Litha's consideration at that time because she was pregnant with your child. If not, then Firza is the best choice."

"Basar Kutu Kupret! ... I'm telling you, show me that you really like Vania before she just leaves you disappointed."

I was stunned by this Selfish Boy's words. Since becoming a father his thoughts were much longer and matured as well as more humane and wise. While me? The increasing age does not change in a better direction than yesterday, instead I disappoint the people I care about.

Vania, sorry ... I'll pay more attention to you.
