Time passed, without feeling three days have passed so beautifully for the newlyweds, Edward and Laura.
For three days in the neighboring country, Edward was very indulgent to his wife. Take him for a walk in a place that has been famous to the world, shopping for expensive branded goods even though Laura refused. Not to forget, they also bought the toys that their son, Devano, wanted.
After the marriage, Edward and Laura agreed, regarding Devano as their son, not a nephew. They want to give complete parental affection for the child.
Both Edward and Laura have the same fate as Devano. Losing his father at a young age. But the little boy had a worse fate, because he had never felt the affection of a real father.
On the fourth day, the couple arrived back in their country. When they left, they had only one medium-sized suitcase, but now when they returned they had three extra suitcases.
Johan, who picked up the newlywed couple at the airport, could only shake his head.
“Bos, home honeymoon or move?” Johan slavishly with a small ruckus.
Edward squinted at the immoral assistant.
They go hand in hand, with Johan pushing the trolley with the suitcases.
When approaching the parking lot, whether intentionally or not. Laura again collided with the same woman at the hotel restaurant yesterday.
“Baby, are you okay?” Edward swiftly caught the slightly staggered body of the wife.
“It's okay, pi. Thank you.” Laura straightened her body.
“Laura?” The woman exclaimed. Either just pretending to be surprised or really surprised.
“Mbak Tere?” Laura tried to remember. And it seems he was right. The woman nodded in response.
Edward again felt uncomfortable, he clasped his wife's waist, making him stick to her.
“Mbak where to go?” Ask Laura.
“I can transfer tasks from the office. So from now on, I live in this country.” Said the woman cheerfully, she tried to steal a glance at Edward, but the man did not turn to her in the slightest.
“Baby. We go home now.” The man whispered back. I don't know why he's always uncomfortable with this woman. Different from his other wife's friends.
Laura nodded, then said goodbye to her new friend. But before they parted ways, Tere asked for Laura's contact number. But, baby, the woman did not get it.
“Sorry, my wife doesn't have a phone.” Edward sauteed with a ketus. He pulled his wife into his car.
Teresha just threw away the lips looking at all that. He saw so much love in Edward's eyes for the young woman.
“Where may the wife of a rich man not have a mobile phone?”
The adult woman passed by to the taxi that was waiting for her.
****
The car is traveling at medium speed, traffic is also monitored crowded but smoothly. No one spoke in their midst.
Laura tried to understand, maybe the husband did not want her to be close to someone she just knew.
After nearly an hour and a half on the trip, they had now arrived at the newlyweds luxury residence.
Johan helped carry the superior's suitcase.
Arriving at the middle room of the mansion, Laura took out something from the bag she was carrying.
“Pak Jo, briefly.” Laura restrains Johan who is about to climb the stairs carrying their suitcase into the room.
“Budesa, budewa.” the woman exclaims to call her home worker.
The two adult women in charge of cleaning the house, came to face the employer. Laura ordered them to take the suitcases up to the doorstep of the room she and her husband occupied.
“What's up, miss?” Ask Johan.
“Julurkan his hand.” The miss's orders.
Johan was confused. He then turned to the boss who was not far from there.
Edward just put his shoulders on the sign of indifference.
With doubt, Johan complied with Laura's wishes. He stretched out his right hand to be more polite. The woman then shows a chain-shaped bracelet, made of silver.
In the middle of the chain bracelet, there is a letter engraving that says Brother.
Laura put the bracelet on Johan's wrist.
“I'll stop calling you Mr. Jo. From now on, I call you brother.” Said the woman with a beautiful smile on her face.
“But, miss.” Johan glanced at Edward. He was afraid that something happened a few days ago would happen again.
“Receive, Jo. Before I change my mind.” Edward answered who understood the meaning of the assistant's gaze.
“Papi, can I hug Brother Johan?” Laura looked at her husband with a glare.
Edward had to nod small.
“Cannot be more than one minute!” His order.
Laura nodded at the husband's words. Then he nodded in agreement. Than not allowed.
“Kak Johan.” She held her husband's assistant.
With hesitation Johan retorted, rubbing the back of his superior wife. But he stopped when he saw Edward's perfectly round eyes.
“Already.” The man pulled the wife, grabbed the woman's slender waist and clasped her.
‘Basic old man jealous.’
Laura and Johan's inner selves were connected, saying the same sentence.
Not long after, one of the house assistants came, saying if lunch was ready.
The three of them headed to the dining room, and ate their lunch quietly.
After lunch, Edward left his wife at home. He had to go back to the office because there was an important meeting.
Laura let it go. She understood her husband's duties and responsibilities were enormous. There were thousands of people who depended on the adult man's livelihood.
Laura gathered all the workers in her house. He handed out one by one the hands he bought specifically for them.
The workers were happy. Because the master is so good.
“Thank you, mistress.” Say them in unison.
“Sama-sama.” Reply to the young woman.
Although she bought them with her husband's money, she was quite happy to see the smiles on the faces of her workers.
“May God repay the kindness of master, and mistress.” Budesa.
“Amin.” The other and Laura.
“Thank you too, because you guys have worked well here. I'm just repaying your kindness. But if you have evil intentions, let the hand of God repay them.”
“We will always try to give our best to the lord and mistress. If any of our faults, please reprimand us, madam.” Budatu.
Laura nodded.
“So did I. If you see me and my husband making a mistake, rebuke us. Think of us as your children, we live far from parents, you older than us must remind if you feel that what we did was wrong.”
The atmosphere of haru enveloped the middle space of the luxurious house. Laura tries to be a family for her workers, not an employer who at all times makes the heart of her workers rumble.
