Chapters. 90. Hello, Dad.

In the afternoon, as Edward said this morning, now Edward, Laura and Felisha come to pick Devano up at school.

They'll go to David's grave and Laura's parents. Their graves are in the same place.

Edward also wanted to introduce his wife to his late father.

“Mama.” Devano exclaimed as he ran towards the mama. He then clasped the waist of the adult woman.

“Where are we going, ma?”

Devano just nodded obediently.

After 30 minutes, the car was in front of a cemetery complex. Before entering the place, Edward and Laura bought a few bouquets of flowers.

They will visit the tomb of the late David, papa Alexander and Darmawan's father. After that we will visit the grave of Laura's parents.

Edward brought 3 bouquets, and the wife brought 2. While Felisha led the son.

They entered the cemetery complex.

Arriving at the complex that is specifically for people who can afford to pay more, there are 3 rows of tombs.

Devano looked alternately at the three tombs. He read one by one the names carved beautifully on the marble.

He found two mounds of earth named behind the same.

That name is also his last name. Devano turned to look at the mother.

“Ma, which one is dad?” He looked again at the mounds.

Edward approached the grave of David. Put a bouquet of flowers on it. He was on the left side of the tomb. Right between David's grave and the papa's. David's father's grave is to the right of David's tomb.

“He is your father, boy.”

Edward's hand rubbed the box-shaped stone.

“Hai, Dav. How are you doing? Sorry I just came by now. I'm too busy in town taking care of the company. You can see it, right. No you, I so don't have much time to relax.” Edward chuckled.

Felisha approached the tomb. He was sitting on the right side of the tomb.

“Dev.. let's greet your father.” Edward.

His eyes began to water. Maybe he has a sensitive heart like his mother.

Felisha rubbed the child's head.

“Dad.. I'm sorry, I just came now. I didn't know Dad was here. But I promise. After this I will always come with mama.”

Devano's voice sounded vibrating. He could no longer hold back his tears.

“Dad, I'm a big boy now. I'll take care of Mama. Dad don't worry. I'm a strong boy. I always got a class champion.” Devano rubbed his nose which began to water.

“Dad? Why leave me and my mom? I've never seen dad. But, said the mother at home there are many photos of the father. After this, I'll see it.” I don't know where the boy's adult nature came from.

Edward couldn't see that. The man did not want the son to dissolve in grief. He also shifted the situation.

“Hai, Dav. I want to introduce someone to you. She's Laura, my wife. You know, he's 14 years younger than us.” Edward chuckled at his words.

“Iya, Dad. I have a mommy. I have a mother too. I have two mothers.” Devano chimed in on the papa's words.

“Include yourself, baby.” Edward whispered in his wife's ear.

“I should call him what?” Laura asked confusedly. Indeed David is his sister-in-law, but their age is far different.

Laura nodded.

“Hai, Brother David. I'm Laura. I'm Devano's mom. Nice to meet brother.”

A taste of haru enveloped Laura's heart. He could not imagine if one day Devano knew, his father died before he was born.

They then fastened the prayer, over the grave of the late David. After that Felisha invited the child to meet the grandfather, the father of David.

Then Edward took Laura and Devano to the grave of the father.

“Pa, sorry I just came today. I'm busy, pa. Papa left a lot of work for me.” Edward smashed his lips.

“Pa, I brought your daughter-in-law and granddaughter here.” Edward pulled Laura closer to him.

“Hai, pa. I'm Laura. It's nice to meet papa. Sorry I just visited papa today.”

“Dev. Come.”

Devano approached the papa.

“This is your grandfather. Husband of the grandmother who is at home, and also the father of your father and mother.”

Edward told the son. Devano also read the name listed there.

Alexander Hugo's.

Same name as the father. Now the boy understood, he had the same name as his two grandfathers.

Devano Alexander Darmawan's.

“Hallo, grandpa. I'm Devano. Nice to meet grandpa.” Said the boy cheerfully. He is no longer sad. Somehow he only felt sadness when greeting his father.

After being satisfied to greet the three tombs, they moved to the complex that was intended for the lower middle class.

Laura placed a bouquet of flowers on the grave of her parents. Followed by Edward. While Felisha invites Devano back to the car, because the boy is thirsty.

Laura greeted both of her parents. He sat in the middle of the tomb of his father and mother.

“Dad, mom. I will not promise to always make your daughter happy. But I will always try to make her happy. I will always try not to cry because of me.”

Laura looked closely at the husband. His heart was touched by the words of the adult man.

“Dad, mom. Don't worry, I'll always look after your daughter, until we regroup. Please bless us. If I make a mistake, you may ask God to punish me. But, don't ask God to separate us.”

“Ed.”

Laura couldn't help but feel her own good. The adult man he had known for almost 3 months, loved him so much.

“Laura Anastasia, in front of the graves of your parents, I ask you to be my wife, will you be willing to live with me, have children, and age together until the time of calling us back?”

The woman's head nodded, she then clenched tightly to the husband.

“Iya, I'm ready.”
