Chapters. 40. Is He having another nightmare?

The next day, Laura decided to leave the home after lunch. He remembered the condition of Edward's room when they left yesterday.

“How can I forget to clean up the room before leaving yesterday?”

“Hah” the girl wastes her breath rough. “I have to be fast until, before Ed gets to first.”

The girl drove her old car at high speed.

He felt relieved, because the owner of the room is now sleeping soundly, stretched out on the bed. With a sneak, Laura passed towards the dressing room. He will clean the bathroom and the dressing room first.

Almost thirty minutes Laura cleaned the bathroom as well as the dressing room. He also switched to cleaning the bedroom.

When he put his cleaning tool in the corner of the room, he faintly heard the sobs of someone, suddenly his hair bristled.

The girl drew closer to the bed, the sound of the sobbing getting louder and louder. He saw Edward curled up on the bed, hugging himself. But his eyes remained closed.

“Don't leave me.” Edward spoke in his tears.

“Ed?” Laura frowned. He sat his body slowly.

The adult man was sobbing more and more, he was getting tighter and tighter hugging himself.

“Don't go.. Don't leave me.. I beg.”.

Laura scanned the adult man's face, the sweat so profusely wetting his handsome face. His forehead was furrowed, with both eyebrows almost fused together.

‘He's having nightmares again?’

“Ed.” Laura braced herself rubbing the man's arm.

“Don't leave me.”

The girl threw herself beside Edward. He hugged the man's body from behind.

“Ed, I won't leave you.” Said the girl in the adult man's ear. He kissed the shoulder of Edward who was still wrapped in a white T-shirt.

Maybe the man's subconscious can feel someone holding him from behind his back. Without opening his eyes, Edward flipped his body and clutched his body until the girl.

“Do not go.” The man was still in his sleep.

“I won't go, Ed.” Laura gently rubbed Edward's head and carried it over her chest.

‘What really happened to you, Ed? Why is it that every time you sleep alone, you always have nightmares? May I know, Ed?’

Without feeling, Laura's eyes also closed.

Not knowing how long time had passed, the adult man finally squirmed. He felt his sleep was very comfortable. Slowly he opened his eyes. And found his head in the arms of his sweet girl.

“It,.... do you often have nightmares?” Ask the girl doubtfully.
