THE HEIR'S BEDMATE

THE HEIR'S BEDMATE
Chapters. 119. Sorry Mama.

Arriving at the hospital, Damian and Leo waited for a while. A nurse called them to see a doctor.

Talking for a while, finally sampling was done. By using strands of hair, blood and saliva, Damian really hopes the results match what he wants.

“The result will be out in two weeks, sir.” The doctor explained.

“Can't it be faster, doc?” Damian was impatient.

“Sorry, sir. It was already the fastest time to get the DNA test results.”

Damian's shoulders drooped. He had to be patient waiting for the test results to come out.

“Alright, doc. We excuse you.” Damian and Leo greeted the doctor in turn. They left the doctor's office, headed for the parking lot.

“Nak, do you want lunch with me?”

Leo was silent, he thought for a moment. It never hurts to accept Damian's invitation.

“Good.” Answer's short.

They both entered the car. The silence was re-created. Just like when we left.

“Hmm, can I know your favorite food?” Damian tried to melt the atmosphere by opening a chat.

“I eat anything, sir.” Answer Leo flatly.

‘You're exactly like Teresha.’

Damian nodded. He then went on to find a restaurant that sold Asian food.

At the place to eat, Leo just kept quiet and according to what Damian ordered. The teenager felt that he did not have any vibes in his heart, which made him doubt, is this adult man really his real father?

“Nak?”

Leo, who was busy with food in front of him, turned to look at Damian who was sitting in front of him.

“Can't we be friends? From the beginning, why were you so cold to me? While to others, are you warmer?”

Leo put the cutlery down. He drank a little water in a glass. Breathe slowly, then speak.

“I am like this, because we just got to know each other. Still a long way to go to a warmer stage.”

The young man took his cutlery back, filled the spoon with rice and side dishes, then fed it into his mouth.

“Then Edward? With him, don't you also just know each other?”

“He is a good person, there is no particular intent behind his kindness. If father, I know father there is a certain purpose to come to the orphanage.”

Leo's words seemed to pierce into Damian's heart. The adult man felt shunned.

“So, do I also have to pretend to receive the father well?”

Damian could not answer. He can only shake a little.

They enjoyed their lunch in silence.

****

At the orphanage, we are also preparing lunch together.

Teresha who was about to go home, undo his intentions, he joined Felisha there.

Mama from Devano, could only roll her eyes lazily. There is no happy feeling to meet friends during school, instead Felisha felt irritated.

“Auntie notice, you don't really like your schoolmate that much.” Aunt Lily whispered, they were arranging food at the buffet, while Teresha was staring at the water on the table.

“He's a heavy admirer Ed, bi. It used to be a lot of trouble for me to gift Ed.”

“Yes geez. What if Lala knows?” Aunt Lily was worried about Laura.

Felisha's activity stopped immediately. He thought of Aunt Lily's words.

“Just aunty. Yeah, well, what if Laura knows? It's tenacious why also he can get here?”

“Kata Maria, she's a donor who's been living outside.”

Felisha stared in disbelief at Aunt Lily.

“Wait, indeed since when did he become an outside donor, bi?”

“A long time ago, maybe 10 years or more.” Aunty Lily answered, twitching her shoulders, a sign she did not know for sure.

10 More years? Felisha feels something is strange here. How could Teresha be a donor that long?

“Mama.” Devano came running and approached the mother. The loud voice of the 8-year-old boy, made Teresha turn her gaze towards the source of the sound.

‘Wait, isn't that a kid who was last week with Edward and Laura? She called mama to Felisha? Whose son is that boy.

“I'm hungry, ma.” Whine Devano to Felisha.

After Lily's aunt's departure, Teresha approached Felisha's direction.

“What was your son, Fel?” Ask.

“Ya.” Felisha replied briefly. Edward's twin sister was really lazy to deal with Teresha.

“So you got married earlier than Edward?”

“Yes. Edward never bothered anyone who married first between us, the most important thing for him was our happiness. After all, getting married is not a race, where we fight each other to be superior.”

Teresha is throbbing, apparently Felisha is still the same as before.

“It's been almost twenty years, you're still just like you used to be, Fel.”

“Yes, here I am. What is. I don't need to pretend well, to get the sympathy of others.”

“Fel—,”

Teresha had not yet spoken, the group of orphanage children had entered the dining room.

The parlors, swiftly give cutlery to the children who are lined up neatly waiting their turn to take the dishes that have been served at the buffet table.

“Son Felisha, son Teresha. Let's join.” Maria's mother approached both women of that age.

“Mama, come. I'm hungry.” Devano is back.

“Sabar, Dev. We'll queue up first. Look, your friends are also lining up.” Felisha pointed to several children who often played with Devano.

“Alright, ma.” Sahut Devano lethargic.

“Hai, boy? Can we get acquainted?” Teresha approached the boy while sticking her hand out.

Devano looked up, looking at the mother for approval. Because her mother taught her not to get too close to strangers.

Felisha nodded. Although he did not like Teresha very much, he did not want to teach his son to be disrespectful.

“My name is Devano, aunt.” The boy simply put the tip of his hand on Teresha's hand. It made the adult woman raise one eyebrow.

‘Persis like his mother.’

“I Teresha, I'm your mama's friend.”

But Devano doesn't care. His constantly rebellious stomach, making him lazy to interact with others.

“Ma?”

“Iya, let's go there. Sorry, Te. I'll excuse you.” Felisha left her schoolmate just like that.

“Nak Teresha, let's join us too.” Maria's mother approached, offering her guests.

“Iya, Mom. Let the kids first take the food.” Seeing the queue that was still a little long, made Teresha want to find out about her son.

“Bu, the biggest child here at what age?” An opening question. Who knows, it could continue.

“This is the biggest kid, Leo. Laura, but she was married. So Leo became the oldest child in this orphanage.”

“Not Leo is also the son of the owner of the home?” He pretended not to know.

Mother Maria shook her head.

“Adi and Angel have only one child, Laura. Leo, their second child adopted.”

The middle-aged woman sighed softly.

“Leo was the first child they found. The boy was still very red when Adi found him in front of the house. Whether on purpose or not, which is obviously the person who has abandoned the baby, is very heartless.”

Degs..

Teresha felt like she had been hit by a boulder. Hear the words of Mary's mother.

“Tega once left the baby, only with a thin blanket. If Adi was late to see him, maybe Leo is dead because of the cold.”

Unasked, tears trickled down Teresha's cheeks. He remembered that he had put a thin baby blanket on his son, not to hurt the child, but so that someone would see him. If she uses a thick blanket, she is afraid that no one will help her baby.

“Mom always hoped, Leo will never know about his mass. He'll be very sad. Mother also does not want, she hates her parents.”

’Son, sorry mom, mom didn't mean to hurt you.’
