THE HEIR'S BEDMATE

THE HEIR'S BEDMATE
Chapters. 121. A Reality.

“Dek. wait.”

Laura chases Leo, followed by Edward and Damian.

Leo sat in a long chair in the garden of the parlour. The teenager lowered his head. Squeeze her hair with both hands. He blamed fate, why it was so cruel to him.

All this time he was just a kid who was dumped by his parents. Not his father and mother's children.

In silence the young man was crying.

“Dek?” Laura's approaching. He sat next to his sister.

“Kak?” Leo raised his head and hugged his brother.

The 16-year-old's cry broke over Laura's shoulder. While the woman can only calm down by rubbing her sister's back.

“Im sorry brother.”

Leo shakes. His family in the parlor was never wrong. Especially her brother and parents. Those who love Leo most sincerely.

“Kak.. Why am I not a sister, brother? Why should I be someone else's child?”

“You remain sister, brother. Nothing can change all that.”

They both cried together.

Edward and Damian looked at it from a not-so-distant distance.

“All this is because of you.” Damian stood beside Edward.

“What do you mean?”

“Because Teresha loves you so much, that she could throw away my son.”

“I don't even know that woman.”

Damian.

“Although you don't know him, but he loves you. Because she wants to be with you, she has the heart to throw away her own child.” Damian's voice suddenly rose. Laura and Leo can hear it.

Leo turned his head, he saw Damian holding the collar of the shirt his sister-in-law was wearing.

The teenager got up and approached. Followed by Laura.

“What are you doing? Release brother Ed.” Leo pulled Damian's hand from Edward's neck.

“Do not defend it, son.” Damian's breath is hunting. He was ready to let out all the emotions that filled his head.

“I defend my sister-in-law.”

Damian is back.

“The man you defended, was the one who caused you to be dumped by your mother.”

Degs..

Laura jerks. Leo shouldn't know this way.

Not only Laura, Leo was also surprised to hear Damian's words.

“What does father mean?”

“Dia—,” Damian pointing Edward's face. “Your mother loves this man very much, therefore she has the heart to throw away her own child, so that she can be free with this man.”

“I didn't even know you were alive, son. Your mother left me when you were 8 months old in her womb. But, a month later she sent me a divorce letter, and said if our baby had died.”

Leo looked at his brother-in-law. He sought answers to the charges Damian made against the man.

“Sister Ed, what did he say was true?”

“I told you, I don't know that woman.” Edward raised his voice. The man couldn't stand it, he wasn't the cause of Leo being dumped.

Laura jerks.

“I never even knew, there was a woman who loved me so deeply. Either he's right in love or just obsessed with me.”

Laura moved closer to her husband, she rubbed the mature man's sturdy arm.

“Pi, patience.” His whisper.

“Leo, you can trust anyone. You even have the right to believe with him— pointed Damian. “Because he is your real father. But I really don't know your mother.”

Edward breathed slowly.

“Indeed the three of us, me, your father, and your mother, we were one class first. But I never knew them both. I only hang out with my twin sister, and also her lover.”

“If you don't believe me, you can ask my sister, Felisha. He's a living witness, I never knew them both!”

Leo fell silent, he tried to digest all this. All this was so shocking to him.

“Kak.” Leo turned to Laura.

“Do you know who my mother is?”

“Kakak—.”

“Your mother is named Teresha Hadi.” Damian cut Laura's words.

“I didn't ask you, sir. I asked my sister.” Said Leo without looking at Damian.

“Jawab me brother? Do you know my real mother?”

Laura nodded. He hesitated, but Damian had said it himself.

“What sister has met him?”

“Yes, but it was by accident. At that time my sister also did not know if she was your mother.”

Leo nodded. So he still has complete parents? Unfortunately, he was thrown out.

The teenager turns to Damian, a man who has a DNA match with him.

“So you're my real father?”

Damian nodded immediately. His eyes sparkled, finally the son spoke to him.

“Then where is the woman who gave birth to me?” For some reason, Leo's tongue feels confused to say the word mother, for the woman who has given birth to him.

“She has a son, who papa heard, she lives in a neighboring country.” Damian answered as he knew it, he did not even know that Teresha was now in the country.

Leo chuckled at the words of papa spoken by Damian.

“We are not that close, papa said to you still far.”

“What should I do for you to accept me, son?“

“Away from me, I don't want to meet you first.”

“But nak—,”

“I beg. I don't want to see my father first. I can't accept all this.”

Leo looked at Damian expectantly. His heart was truly unhappy meeting his biological parents.

“I love you so much, all this time I've always wished my son was alive. And God granted my hope.”

Leo clucked in annoyance, his hands began to clench.

“Sir Damian, please listen to what Leo says. Please give my sister time to receive all this.”

Damian looked at Laura, the woman's eyes were clear. Making Damian comply. Slowly his head nodded.

“Alright, son. I'll give you time. But please, not too long. I can't.”

The man approached Leo.

“May I hold you for a while, after that I will leave. I'll be back later.”

Leo sighed slowly. He nodded his head too. The sooner the grown man leaves, the better.

Damian smiled, he then eroded the distance between the two.

Closely grasping the body of the son who for 16 years, he thought was gone. Shedding all the yearning that these few days had filled the recesses of his heart.

But Leo did not budge, stiff, sculpt like a man who was cursed into stone.

Almost five minutes hugged and got no reply. Damian let go of his embrace

“Get yourself, son. I always loved you.”

The man looked at the couple standing by the son's side.

“Edward, Laura. I'm putting my son to you. Please take good care of Leo.”

“Sir Damian is calm, they all take good care of me here. If not, maybe you will never meet me at this time.”

Neither Laura nor Edward answered, but Leo himself.

“I know, son. That's why I'm so grateful to your family here. For having taken good care of my son—.”

“If you want to thank me, please quickly leave this place.” Leo cut Damian's speech.

“Good son. Excuse me. See you later.”

Damian passed by leaving the three people still standing in the park.

“Dek.”

“I want to be alone first, sis.” Leo passed away leaving his brother and sister-in-law as well.

“But, dek—,”

“Honey, already. Let Leo alone first. He needs time to receive all of this.” Edward prevented the wife from pursuing her sister.

Laura could only nod her head.
