The Mystery of Lost Memory

The Mystery of Lost Memory
Flashback #1

(One year before .. )

Ray removed the glasses, just to clarify the writing on the screen of his laptop, although of course he would be more unable to see without the glasses. Then he put it back on. Ray is not a person who likes to wear glasses at all times, but he will wear them if he is working. As a reliable progammer, the eye is a valuable asset for Ray to connect life and improve his social status.

“Honey, try to come here first, deh,” shouted Ray, as he made sure the writing on his screen was not wrong.

Karen who was preparing dinner, was moved to Ray even though the apron was still wearing.

“What's up, Ray?” karen asked a little. “I'm still cooking, nih,”

“Try see, Darling. I didn't see it wrong, did I?” Ray pointed at the writing on his laptop screen.

Karen's goal read in seriousness, for a second then exclaimed happily gratefully. She clutched her husband's body, screaming in excitement. After a nearly six-month wait as unemployed, Ray finally got an email that he had made it through the entire selection stage at Fortuna Corp, a rising electronics company.

“Ray, finally! Congratulations, yes!” Many times Karen kissed Ray's cheek, happy not to play.

Finally Karen no longer need to hold back every month, just to make sure the money is enough for a month. Ray's job is a freelance job, but Karen persuades him to start looking for a regular job if they plan to have children later.

Karen and Ray have been married for three years, although not yet blessed, their marriage remains as romantic as a newlywed. Karen, the most beautiful college student, decides to accept Ray's proposal, a geeky and genius man. Their relationship amazes the rest of the class, but Karen and Ray continue to prove the power of their love to everyone. Under no circumstances, joy or sorrow.

“Darling, how nice is it tomorrow I wear what clothes, huh?” ray asked, engaging in a conversation before going to bed with Karen.

“I have prepared your best shirt suit,” replied Karen. “The most important thing is that you sleep now, because tomorrow is your first day at work, Ray,” Karen stroked Ray's forehead gently, trying to put her husband to sleep like a baby.

“Are you happy?” ray asked, stroking Karen's soft cheek.

Karen nodded. “I'm grateful for whatever good thing happened to you and our family,”

Ray smiled at Karen's response. Then he kissed gently the lips of his wife, full of passion and sweet romance of a couple.

“Finally Old Man gave his company to me. I'd like you to come work with me tomorrow,” Martin on Sierra, after the announcement of his appointment as the new CEO at Fortuna Corp.

Sierra who was sitting together with Martin at their favorite cafe, could only be dumbfounded. Martin has always liked it. But asking Sierra to work for him just like that, without preparation, certainly makes Sierra surprised. Currently Sierra's status is secretary to Paul Willis, Martin's father.

“Then, what should I say to your father, Martin?” ask Sierra confused. “It's almost midnight. There's no way I'm sending a resignation letter,”

“I told him that I took you,”

Martin's words made Sierra's face flushed. He drank his drink to hide his awkwardness.

“Tomorrow I'll pick you up at 7. You should be ready,” tell Martin.

Sierra suddenly laughed. He slightly raised his head, looking up at the ceiling.

Martin did not laugh, instead gripped tightly to his drinking glass very tightly.

“Tomorrow is my first day. I know Old Man deliberately gave me his most successful company, to take me down. Because he's sure I'll fail,”

Sierra is still laughing. This time he shook his head, staring at Martin full of warmth.

“You don't have to worry. I've found some of the best employees to help you, and help us,” Sierra said trying to calm Martin.

The two friends who are always together and strengthen each other in any case, even in the affairs of the bed, even though they claim not to involve feelings. But in Sierra's little heart, if Martin had thought of him as more than a friend, he would have been very happy.

“Ray, don't be nervous, dong!” nagging Karen while putting a tie to Ray's neck.

How can he not nag? Ray kept pacing back and forth from the morning, chanting many introductory work spells, even ignoring the breakfast Karen had painstakingly made.

“Fortuna Corp the company that's skyrocketing, dear. Of course I'm nervous!”

Karen mangosteen. “Iya, yes. But you are not losing to professionals either. You are a famous progammer even abroad,”

After saying goodbye and not forgetting to kiss Karen on the forehead, Ray rushes off before he misses the train and is late for work. In Karen's heart always pray, may all Ray's business be facilitated. Similarly, hopefully after this new windfall comes to his small family, a new member will come into the family.

“This,” Sierra handed over several sheets of documents to the front of Martin who was sitting misgivably in his study.

The workspace of a Fortuna Corp CEO is vast, located at the very top of their office building, with walls made of glass so large that Martin can see clearly the cityscape. This was very advantageous for him, to eliminate the fatigue for a moment.

“What is this?” ask Martin.

“This is a list of the names of the new employees who succeeded we got,” replied Sierra. “Hopefully with their arrival, you can answer your father's doubts,”

Martin flipped through the documents Sierra handed over, starting to observe one by one the names of the new workers who would enter his company.

“I've called them one by one to get acquainted with you,” Sierra said, then walked to the door to open and let the first new employee be called.

Then came when Ray, still nervous, had to introduce himself directly to the CEO of Fortuna Corp, Martin Willis. He is greeted kindly by Sierra, who also opens the door for him. Then Ray began to walk nervously, having been able to control himself all of a sudden. It was as if the strength within him had suddenly risen, making Ray's confident level on the verge of a tall trunk.

“Halo, good morning,” greetings Ray. “I am Ray White, as a new data analyst in this company,” said Ray, full of confidence. His smile was bright, full of excitement for his new job. The steady work she had always hoped for, for the sake of realizing Karen's wishes.

Martin looked up only to look at Ray long enough. This is what he's been looking for all along. With Ray's outstanding portfolio, and expertise, this resource-scarce profession made its way into his company. Unknowingly Martin tilted next to his smile, feeling that winning had gained the jewel. The jewel to destroy his own father.

“I'm Martin Willis, CEO of Fortuna Corp.,” Martin replied, saying hello. “Welcome to our company, Ray. Hopefully we can establish a good cooperation,”
