The Mystery of Lost Memory

The Mystery of Lost Memory
All hatred

“Why are you .. “ Even Paul could not continue his words, and almost dazed if Lukman did not immediately hold back.

Sophie folds her hands, stands tall. His face was full of sly grins.

“For what wealth do we have, if not put to the best use? I can buy anything I want, including someone's morals,” Sophie said.

He then walked closer, to be able to see each other with Paul.

“It's easy for me to pay someone to give you false information, that your son and Tamara are dead,”

Paul furious. He strangles Sophie's neck, with the neck veins strained because anger has completely taken over Paul's common sense.

“So all this time, you have the heart to throw away my baby son in the orphanage? Just for the sake of your ambition to torture me?” ask Paul.

Sophie gasps, trying to let go of Paul's increasingly powerful giggles. Lukman hastily separated Paul's body from Sophie's. He whispered to Paul, to stop or else everything would go wrong.

“You ... truly a devil-hearted woman,” muttered Paul, staring intently at Sophie.

Getting the nickname actually makes Sophie laugh even harder.

“I have never disturbed your love life, but I will not allow others to usurp my throne as Paul Willis' wife,” Sophie looked back at Paul sharply. “Do you want Sierra to have the same fate as Tamara? I always warned you, never bring any poor woman into this family,”

He ripped up the divorce papers that Paul had brought. “Please connect with a hundred women at once. But don't even think about taking me off the throne,”

“Your business can go so far, of course there is my role in it. Don't forget that,” Sophie tidied up her fancy clothes, which had been shabby after being strangled by Paul.

“Now, please leave here,” By hand gesture, Sophie told Paul and Lukman to leave her room, after the waiter opened the door wide.

“I'm not messing around this time,” said Paul, right on the doorstep. “I can definitely divorce you,” He looks back, glances at Sophie with the tail of his eyes.

Sophie smiled cunningly at Paul's threat, not at all daunted.

Paul's move accelerated, immediately getting into his luxury car after Lukman opened the door. He took a deep breath, resting his back in the back seat of the car while occasionally beating his own head.

“Stupid, stupid,” murmured Paul. “How can I not recognize my own son?”

“Master, where should we go?” ask Lukman carefully.

Paul continued to hold onto his throbbing forehead. “Ke Martin apartment. I have to meet him tonight too,”

Lukman nodded and immediately left Sophie's residence. The journey was slow and quiet, with no bad feeling about anything. But suddenly, a large truck from the opposite direction turned on a long-distance lamp that was so bright that it blinded Lukman's vision.

Accidents are inevitable. Paul's car slammed, turned over to the side of the road, emitting billowing smoke. Everything was going fast, as if in one breath, now Paul's life is on the edge. In his faint-heartedness beginning to disappear, Paul could clearly see Tamara's smile. Then she realized, Martin had the same smile as Tamara.

“Paul!!” Sierra is hysterical in front of the ICU room, when he gets word of the accident that befell Paul and his assistant.

According to the nurse, Lukman's life could not be helped, while Paul still get extra care to save his life.

Sierra kept crying, blaming himself. He felt he could have prevented Paul from leaving. She should have gone with her husband.

Margaret, Paul's secretary, tries to calm down the weeping Sierra. Sierra began to mingle, with all the words that actually made Margaret sad. He is sad to see Sierra's condition destroyed, very afraid of unwanted things happening to Paul.

“Sierra!!” martin shouted, immediately running towards the Sierra.

Seeing the approaching figure of Martin, Sierra unexpectedly slapped him.

An inevitable slap, landing on Martin's cheek that knows nothing.

"What are you … "

"Happy, huh?! After years of indoctrinating me into hating your own father, now you're content to see him wretched?"

"W-what do you mean, Sierra?" Martin was confused, while holding his flushed left cheek.

Sierra threw a shabby piece of paper full of bloodstains at Martin's chest.

"I found this in Lukman's suit" Sierra said. "You've always acted like Paul wasn't your real father,"

Martin opened the shabby paper wide, which contained a lot of information about his DNA and Paul who had a 99.8% match, almost perfect.

"Si .. Sierra, how can … "

Not yet Martin finished his sentence, Sierra immediately pulled Martin's collar. He looked at the man as sharply as he could, never had he done it before.

"My patience is gone, Martin. And I'm not a weak woman like Karen. I'll make sure you're in jail" Sierra threatened, straight into Martin's eyes, still visibly shocked by the truth that blasphemes him blindly.

The new Petrina soon broke up a dispute between Sierra and Martin. Now Sierra's gaze was fixed on Petrina.

"Oh, so this is your new wife who can give you a child? It's amazing you guys. You and Sophie are both demons," Sierra clapped his hands alone, with a pitiful laugh after alternately looking at Martin and Petrina.

"Mrs Sierra," call the doctor who just examined Paul.

Sierra hurriedly rushed towards the doctor.

"I'm sorry, but Mr. Paul .. didn't survive" the doctor said briefly.

"No!!" screech Sierra, and instantly collapse unconscious.

Martin swiftly lifted Sierra's body, to be placed in the nearest bed. One of the bed-carrying nurses quickly leads Margaret, Martin, and Petrina to a special VIP room to calm Sierra down.

After making sure Sierra was okay, Martin exited the room and immediately took care of the repatriation process of Paul's body. The man continued to tremble, even though he was trying to remain firm and calm. She didn't want to cry, and she couldn't cry either.

Luckily, Petrina helped Martin take care of all the processes that were quite complicated, so that everything could be completed in a short time and without constraints. Even Petrina also took care that the reporters did not hear this news, before things became more conducive.

"Martin?" call Petrina, when she sees Martin sitting in front of the ICU.

"Leave me, Pet," Martin pleaded limp.

"But … "

"Leave me," Martin interrupted quickly.

Petrina nodded, as she did not like the debate. Petrina also wanted to make room for Martin to mourn, considering that Paul was his father.

The father who a few days ago is still considered Martin as the father who picked him up from the orphanage. Sierra's proof paper made all Martin's hatred for Paul he began to question. Why did Paul have to reject him as a child? Why does Paul hate him?

All the questions came to Martin's mind, but they could never be answered. Because Paul is gone. Go away for good.

"Martin … "

Martin's ears stood up, for he knew the voice well. The voice of the woman he loved so much, Karen.
