The Mystery of Lost Memory

The Mystery of Lost Memory
Halfhearted

Karen is preparing dinner for Rida, when she overhears the news on television about the death of Paul Willis. Unknowingly he had dropped the tray containing rice that he had almost handed to Rida, standing around with his heart almost jumping in disbelief.

“Karen, what's up?” ask Rida. The woman had no idea Paul was Karen's in-law. Because Karen herself never introduced Martin personally to her mother.

“Mother, I have to go .. “

“Karen!” call Rida, as Karen runs after snatching her jacket and bag.

Karen kept running, everywhere. He called everyone's cell phones, including Martin and Sierra. But neither of them raised Karen's call. So Karen immediately stopped the taxi that happened to pass by, going to Paul and Sierra's house to get information. But suddenly his phone rang, Martin's name appeared on his phone screen.

“Martin, what happened?” ask Karen to be impatient.

“This is Petrina,” replied Petrina.

There was a bit of disappointment in Karen's mind, but only for a moment. He was more worried about the news that was spreading.

“Where's Martin? Where's Paul?” ask Karen worried.

“Come to the Willis family-owned hospital,”

Karen immediately hung up the phone, without saying any greetings. He changed his purpose. He asked the taxi driver to take him to the hospital where Paul was.

At the hospital, Karen ran back. He rushed to the reception desk, when the tail of his eyes accidentally caught the figure of Martin passing by with a dazed look. Karen was planning to approach, but Petrina came first. The woman guides Martin's steps who seems to be shaken by the death of his father.

Karen chose to withdraw. His footsteps, which had originally accelerated, were now slowing down. With gontai he went to the room that the receptionist had mentioned to him.

In the lobby of the room to where Sierra was being treated, Karen saw Martin sitting down with his head lowered and knees folded. Karen could not see her husband's expression, but Martin's aura showed depression. Slowly Karen approached him.

“Martin .. “ call Karen slowly.

The man slowly began to raise his head, looking for a familiar source of sound. The moment he saw Karen standing nearby, Martin immediately got up. Without much thought, Martin immediately embraced Karen tightly, leaning his head on Karen's shoulders.

“Karen, I thought I'd lost you,” isak Martin.

Karen also shed tears, stroking Martin's back. He had never heard or seen this man cry. So when he had to see it, Karen's defense broke down. He couldn't hold back his tears.

“He's my real father, Karen. Why does he have to be my real father?” Martin's tone of voice rose, still resting his head on Karen's shoulders.

Karen tightened her embrace. All he could do was stroke Martin's back, letting the man dissolve into his grief.

“Why should he leave so soon? I haven't even got my revenge on him yet,” Martin is starting to fumble. Her tears even washed Karen's clothes.

Karen was silent. Her tears are flowing more and more. Martin's trauma towards his father turned out to be far from his expectations. This man looked very strong from the outside, but was actually very fragile inside. Half of Karen's heart begins to pity Martin. But the other side refused, because in addition to Martin separating him from Ray, Martin also chose to marry another woman.

The funeral procession of Paul Willis took place almost immediately and quietly, because it was only attended by close families. No media crew or business associates were allowed to come, as Sierra wanted to pay a solemn last salute to her husband.

Facing the other side, Sierra stared intently at Sophie, during the funeral. Sierra knows this is Sophie. The old woman did not shed any tears at all, even though the husband she had been married to for decades was gone for good.

Sierra wants to avenge Sophie, but she doesn't have enough evidence. But Sierra believes he must find a way to take Sophie and Martin, who have cruelly made Paul miserable.

While Martin, standing stiffly beside Sophie, while tightly grasping Karen's hand. He stared at the grave of the father who had been sprinkled with flowers, but there were no more tears on his face. And Petrina could only bitterly look at Martin's handgrip over Karen. He begins to realize one thing, he loves Martin.

“Means Mother?” ask Karen, I don't understand.

Sophie knitted her brows, haughty. “You agreed to share a husband with Petrina?” reset Sophie.

“Oh, but I don't think it's necessary. Because Martin and Petrina are married,” added Sophie, while looking at Karen full of insults.

Karen did not want to respond. He tried to hold back his emotions, in order to appreciate Martin's grief.

From a distance, Sierra watches Sophie's every move, even as Sophie begins to intimidate Karen. Sierra began to force his brain to find a thousand ways to get a snake woman, Sophie Willis.

“Margaret,” call Sierra.

Margaret approached, bowed respectfully.

“Find out what happened during the accident. I want you to arrest the truck driver, and interrogate him until he confesses. Use force if he refuses to answer,” Sierra's orders.

At the same time, but at different times, four large men in nurse uniforms began to push the wheel bed into a large room with dim lighting creepy.

Then they simply put the bed in the middle of the room, then began to prepare a lot of medical equipment next to it. And when the patient who was sleeping in the bed slowly began to wake up, they rushed to check the condition and make sure the patient was okay.

“Where am I?” ask the patient is weak.

“You are safe now,” replied one of the nurses.

“Aman from what?” The patient kept asking, strong enough for the size of someone who had just been seriously injured.

“From the person who planned to kill you,”

“Murders?!” The patient began to think hard. Who was planning to kill him?

“Who wants to kill me?!” screech the patient, trying to remove the infusion hose attached to his wrist.

Two of the four nurses tried to keep the patient from moving.

“You still have a lot of rest,” said one of them.

“Let me go! I have to see my son,” the patient's thrashing.

“Situation is not safe for you to get out of here,”

“Let go, asshole! I have to see my biological son!” The patient rebelled. The power was strong enough for someone who had just been hit by a big truck.

“Mr Paul Willis,” calls someone, who instantly makes the four nurses bow respectfully.

The sound of footsteps began to advance. There was clearly a stern-faced man, who was smiling at Paul. The man lowered his head, introducing himself politely.

“You ... “ Paul knows the man very well.

“Include Sir. My name is Ray White,” said, with a smile full of intent.
