The Mystery of Lost Memory

The Mystery of Lost Memory
Give Me Time

Ray continued running, having suddenly got a bright idea when Karen was about to grab him. Ray knows that his actions towards Karen are unjustified, as he suddenly leaves his ex-wife with no clarity. However, if Ray did not hurry this time, he was afraid that Kamala would disappear again.

Ray continued to run, passing through a row of tall buildings, no matter the late night. Ray was sure, Kamala was still where he was headed. That girl is not going anywhere. So when the pace of his feet slowed down a sign he had reached the intended location, Ray silently stared. She observes Kamala's bowed figure, in a still-worn wedding dress, sitting in front of a minimarket located right next to the five-star hotel where Karen had her first wedding with Martin.

Kamala ignored the questionable glances from people who passed in and out of the minimarket, because she really looked like a fleeing bride. So Ray also walked gontai, almost noiseless, in order to keep Kamala not run away again when he saw it coming.

"Your sleep, Kamala?" reprimand Ray, after being close beside Kamala.

Kamala hurriedly raised her head, overwhelming shock upon seeing Ray already in front of her, being stared at with an icy gaze.

"R-Ray .. " Kamala's mouth was suddenly paralyzed, unable to move.

Ray remained calm and cool. He took a seat in the front seat of Kamala.

"What's going on?" Ray's question made Kamala's heart that was originally beating fearlessly, instantly relieved. He looked back at the man in front of him, trying to find a gap of anger, but to no avail.

Then Ray downed the can of drink in front of him, aka Kamala's. "I ran very fast here,"

"Why?" sahut Kamala, as if forgetting Ray's initial question.

"I'm afraid the security guard brought you to the rehabilitation center because she was considered a crazy woman" Ray grinned, looking at Kamala's appearance from top to bottom.

Then Kamala imitates Ray's movements, equally paying attention to his own appearance. The long wedding dress, beautiful unraveling hair and makeup that although it has faded a little, still accentuates the typical oriental beauty of the face of Kamala.

"I'm sorry, Ray," muttered Kamala, looking down at Ray's eyes.

"I wonder how you look. And it turned out to be beautiful, too, yes," Ray did not reply to Kamala's words, and instead shifted to another topic.

Kamala kept her head down, now while playing her echo. "I shouldn't be like this,"

"I shouldn't have rashly accepted your proposal, and just left. I'm sure, Papa will definitely beat me up when I get home," said Kamala, horrified to imagine the rampage of Rudi Bruggman who has tried dozens of times to contact her phone.

"But I can't. I can't marry you, Ray," Now Kamala's tears are dripping, but she hastily wiped them away.

Ray did not want to respond, and only wanted to make room for Kamala to spill all the burdens in her heart. He continued to give Kamala a chance to continue speaking.

"I know you're just sorry for me" The final conclusion Ray had expected.

The man then took a deep breath. Dealing with women who were younger decades than him was quite tiring. Yeah, because he couldn't understand Kamala's emotional surge at all. While the others were chasing him, but in the next moment, they ran away from him.

"Why?" ask Ray. "Why do I feel sorry for you?"

Kamala once again wiped her tears. "I've been desecrated, and I could've been carrying her child. I don't want you to marry you out of pity,"

"Let's prove it,"

Kamala widens her eyeballs. "You mean?"

Kamala gasped at the solution Ray provided. But instead of stopping crying, Kamala just shook her head hard and returned to shed tears.

"I know you guys still love each other. You and Karen" isak Kamala.

Ray frowned, starting to be inexhaustible with the new discussion that Kamala brought.

"I saw you guys. Earlier, when I was going back. I saw you on the bridge, "I am Kamala with a hoarse and stammering voice, as if she was trying to mentally prepare just to reveal what she saw.

Now it was Ray's turn to widen his eyeballs, not expecting. For Kamala's reason on this one, he chose silence because he did not know what to answer.

"Please, Ray. Don't lie to yourself" Kamala's voice continued to tremble, as more tears came out. "I love you, but .. but it's not a reward like this that I want,"

Ray kept quiet. He wanted to answer, but everything that came out of his mouth would only be a lie to Kamala. So he decided to shut up and let Kamala guess everything.

"What do you want now?" ray asked as Kamala calmed down.

"Let everything flow," Kamala replied quickly. "As you say, I'll finish my studies well and be the woman you deserve,"

"I'll explain everything to Papa, and I'll accept the consequences,"

"You are innocent! But I also don't want Eros to be responsible for you!" exclaiming Ray. Imagine if Kamala had to marry Eros for the sake of the child she contains, making Ray ignited emotions.

Kamala shakes. "I wish nothing had happened,"

"I'll wait,"

"Don't" Kamala once again shook her head. "Don't wait, Ray. Nothing will happen between us. Give me a chance to be better for you. To be the woman you love,"

Kamala wiped away the remains of tears that were still soaking her face, to then stand overwhelmed by the long and heavy dress. Ray stood up too. No need to wait for approval, she immediately pulled Kamala's hand to drive the girl back to her house.

Ray understands now. All the reasons Kamala had revealed to him made Ray aware.

"I'm sorry, because all this time always forced you to be able to love me," Kamala regretted, back in tears after successfully removing the remaining tears on the cheeks.

"My biggest dream is to be loved by you completely, for no reason. Just me. Just because of me, not because of anyone else,"

"I see, Kamala," Ray slowly nodded, clasping one of Kamala's hands.

He looked at the young lady in front of him with a deep gaze, trying to penetrate into the recesses of Kamala's heart through the lens of the woman's eye.

Ray swallowed his saliva. "I will do it too" he said.

He justifies the sitting position, a little more firm just to say something.

"I will also try to heal the wounds of my heart. I can't lie to you" Ray shut up for a moment and choked. "I still love Karen,"
