Martin gontai's move. It even felt like he could not feel the trace of his own steps. His gaze lowered down, looking at his handcuffed hands.
With the direction of the lawyer, Martin sat in a chair that had been adjusted. As long as his eyes looked, he did not see Karen at all. In fact, the eyeball accidentally won the figure of Ray sitting in the front seat, with a haughty look towards Martin.
Martin looked away, stifling at Ray who seemed to be hinting at the gratitude.
“Master doesn't have to say anything. Let me work. Except when the judge gives the question, you answer briefly,” His lawyer gives direction once again.
Martin did not nod. Of course he does not need to be dictated such trivial matters.
Soon, the father appeared in his wheelchair. But instead of Sierra, Paul was with Margaret's assistant. His gaze seemed sad and guilty to Martin, but Martin hurriedly closed his eyes. Not looking at the father's face.
After the judge entered and paid his respects, the trial officially began. Prosecutors presented evidence to give Martin the harshest sentence. Likewise, his lawyer also returned to reveal the reasons and other evidence that had been prepared with Martin before.
“I will present a key witness of this kidnapping case,” said the prosecutor. Then his hand moved towards the door.
Enter Sierra, with his firm steps into the room and sit in the middle seat as a witness. The tail of his eyes briefly glanced at Martin, to see how the man was now.
“Are you former secretary Martin Willis?” ask prosecutor.
Sierra nodded. “Yes, right me, Your Majesty,”
“Are you the one who helped with the abduction process?”
Sierra nodded back. “I was only asked to keep Karen Willis in the house, without knowing if Martin had actually kidnapped her from her husband,” She turned her head back towards the silent Martin.
“Are you aware, the consequences if you are proven to be in cahoots with Martin Willis, you will also be a suspect?” The judge gave an affirmation in a rather intimidating tone.
“I am aware, Your Majesty,” replied Sierra steady. “My decision as this witness, I am sure, will have its own repercussions,”
Martin's lawyer stands up. “We object, Your Majesty,”
The judge gave the lawyer the opportunity to clarify his reasons.
“Saudari Sierra Willis, is clearly fully aware that what my client is doing is not a kidnapping. Mr. Martin and the victim are now a married couple, so there can be no kidnapping, ” The lawyer explained in a light tone. Then he faced the judge. “We will present a witness, Your Highness,”
And the whole audience's gaze was now fixed on the figure of Karen who had been standing in the middle of the door. With trembling legs, he tried to step forward.
He never came in this kind of stressful situation, in his own circumstances without anyone he could hold onto.
It is only himself and his beliefs.
“Are you Karen Willis, wife of Martin Willis and victim of this abduction?” the judge asked, after Karen had sworn.
Karen nodded. “B-right, Your Honor,” He was silent for a moment. “S-I want–” His tone is choked. Until Martin, who had been looking down, began to look toward Karen.
“What do you want to say?” The judge asked impatiently.
Karen gulped, trying to shake off the tension.
“S-I want .. to drop my entire claim on my husband, Martin Willis,”
The audience is rowdy. It is like a group of bees that are busy collecting honey.
While Martin's lawyer smiled very widely, nodding towards Martin as if hinting at victory.
Behind the ripple of this trial, there are now Karen and Martin who look at each other from a distance. Martin's eyes glazed over, not expecting Karen to choose those words to save him.

Martin stepped with great relief in his chest, passing through the gate of the detention house this morning.
And from a distance, Karen was standing waiting for her arrival, smiling stiffly but warming Martin's heart.
“Karen, I'm sorry,” isak Martin in Karen's arms.
Karen smiled, stroking Martin's back. “You're safe now. You will not be alone anymore,”
“I will never leave you. Whatever happens,” Martin promised.
Karen took off the hug. He looked at Martin deeply and seriously. “I don't want any more grudges in your heart. Now everything is just about me and you, in the future. No past,”
Martin bit his lips. “You are my past, Karen,”
“And now your future,” says Karen fast. “My past is not you, but you are my future. Nothing is more important,” Karen plays Martin's hair, while raising her head.
“Does that mean ... You've completely forgotten Ray White?” ask Martin, be careful.

A week later …
“Aready?” kamala asked, after sitting in the car.
Ray nodded. “But I want to stop by Rida,”
Kamala seemed to think, to then nod.
“Is everything going to be okay? I mean, Martin Willis,” asked Kamala, on the way.
“He won't bother me anymore,” Ray said. “Unless want to be left by Karen,”
“Then you ... have you completely forgotten Karen?” The question Kamala asked carefully.
Ray did not immediately answer, or rather refused to answer. He just kept quiet, letting Kamala guess the answer she was about to say.
The journey to the nursing home lasted half an hour, without any obstacles. Because today is an effective day people work.
“Ray, I wait in the car only, yes?” pinta Kamala, holding Ray's hand who was about to get out of the car.
“Why?”
Kamala grimaces. “I'm afraid Rida is sad,”
Ray smiled warmly, then ruffled Kamala's hair. “If that's what you want, okay. But don't run anywhere, huh?”
“Ready!” Kamala was respectful with ridiculous behavior, making Ray inevitably pinch his nose.
Ray walked straight, with happiness in his heart. A week after that brief but surprising trial, Ray is still fine.
Even as she opened the door to Rida's room, and found Karen and Martin sitting side by side, with Rida in front of them.
The three of them turned towards Ray.
“Ray? You haven't left?” reprove Karen.
Ray gawked for a few seconds, then shook his head. “I want to say goodbye to Mom,” she replied.
Ray stepped in. Hugged Rida and said goodbye, as she was about to go some distance away with Kamala.
Karen chose to stay with Martin. Though her life will never be quiet, Karen knows, Martin has no one but her to survive.
And Ray appreciates that decision–because he can't be with Karen anymore either. Ray and Kamala decide to get married in London, while Karen stays with Martin, with all her life looking like a diamond in the distance, but only silver in the melee.
