“Include Mr. Paul,” Ray deliberately cut his words. “I Ray White,”

Ray looked down at Paul, though he smirked cunningly with intent.

Half whimpering, Paul pointed his index finger at Ray with widened eyes.

“Aren't you .. Karen's ex-husband? Karen White?” guess Paul. “Former best employee Martin?”

“Saddening once, I was only recognized as the former in any case,” Ray extended a thin smile.

“Why did you bring me here?” paul protest. He was not interested in Ray's complaint.

“You should be grateful, Sir. Were it not for my men, you would be dead by now,” Ray ordered one of his men still wearing nurse uniforms, to come forward to approach Paul.

He gave some pictures to Paul. A photo of Sophie acting suspiciously with a hospital employee.

“Sophie ordered someone to kill you. Replacing the infusion liquid with poison, so you can die without suspicion,” Ray explained, as Paul flipped through the sheets of the photo in disbelief.

Paul shook his hand when he heard the fact. She can't help but believe Ray's words, because Sophie always wanted to destroy him.

“He was the one who hired the truck driver to crash into your car,” added Ray, looking at Paul with a faint smile.

“Why do you know all this? No one knows but me and my wife, Sierra,”. “Even Martin never knew his mother could be that cruel,”

“Of course I know very well, Mr. Paul,” Ray is slowly approaching Paul, still with his thin, meaningful smile.

Ray's eyes pierce Paul's eyeballs. Cold and sharp.

“Sophie Willis is good. But nothing is perfect. There must be a weakness,” Ray said. “Sophie is unconscious, if all the people she hired to harm and kill are my men,”

Paul was shocked. Who's Ray? Why would he have dozens of men who could even know the whole secret of Paul and Sophie?

Paul's brain began to think, while continuing to echo a lot of questions in his mind. Then he remembered White's last name behind Ray's.

“What ... Are you son of Sergio?” guess Paul.

“Does taking refuge behind my father's name, make you appreciate me more?”

Paul's breath hunts down, quite surprised by Ray's true identity. He held onto his chest which continued to sting.

Karen leads Martin's steps into their apartment, when Petrina suddenly opens the door from the inside.

Karen's eyes shook, unprepared to face Petrina tonight. She thought that only she and Martin lived there, without ever thinking that Petrina was also Martin's wife.

And Petrina seemed to care less. He helped guide Martin, who was half-conscious from drinking heavily after Paul's funeral.

“Let me take it,” Karen said, a little ketus.

Petrina relented. She lets Karen carry Martin's staggering body into the room, to change clothes and help him rest.

After making sure Martin slept soundly, Karen came to Petrina who was sitting on the sofa in front of the big window. The view is cold, unfriendly.

“What are you doing here?” reprove Karen.

Petrina was unexpectedly smiling. “Is it wrong if I want to make sure my husband is okay?”

“I thought, your relationship is only limited to mutually beneficial partners,”

“You did too,” Petrina replied. “I guess, you still love your ex-husband,”

Karen wasn't ready for Petrina's reply, until she was silent for a while.

“You are just a child-generating machine for Martin,” asserted Karen.

“Don't be crazy! Martin is in mourning!” karen snapped, unable to hold back her emotions any longer. Seeing Petrina's face for too long makes Karen muntab.

“Alright, Karen,” Petrina relented. He grabbed his little bag and stood up.

He smiled without a fight towards Karen. “I'm sorry, because it looks like my joke really offended you,” he said, smiling sincerely.

“Now I know, you also love Martin, as Martin loves you,” Petrina once again smiled, then walked slowly away from the apartment. Don't forget he's saying goodbye, not showing a face at all unfriendly.

Karen's not chiming. He was still standing on the spot, trying to digest all of Petrina's attitude. Was the woman just joking? If so, why did Karen have to be so angry and emotionally upset?

Slowly, Karen begins to blame herself for being too sensitive.

“You're up?” reprimand Ray, sit next to Paul's bed.

After learning of Ray's true identity last night, Paul can't hold back much longer. He fell limp, overslept due to the side effects of the drugs he was taking.

And this morning, in a fitter condition, he started to be able to manage his emotions to face the young man beside him.

“What do you really want from me? Why did you save me?” ask Paul not to talk.

“You don't want breakfast first?”

“Explain to me now,” pinta Paul.

“Alright, Sir,” Ray set his position more firmly.

“I know, Sierra must be very angry right now. Because he knows, Sophieelah killed you,”

“What do you want from Sierra?”

Ray shakes. “He's my best friend,” he replied. “I saved you, because of his request,”

Paul was a little overwhelmed when he heard Ray's explanation.

“But I can't tell Sierra, if you really survived,” said Ray. “I have to finish my business first,”

“What can I do, Ray?” paul asked, slightly softened.

Ray brandished a small flash. “Everything you want is here,” Ray said, raising one corner of his lips.

Paul looked at the flash with a million questions.

“You can immediately divorce Sophie, or even throw her in jail, with all the evidence inside here,” Ray once again brandished the flash.

There was a slight tickling sensation of hearing a tantalizing offer from Ray. It was as if the lure was the only way to free Paul from Sophie's shackles.

“At the moment Sierra is drawing up a plan and gathering all the evidence to prosecute Martin,"

"Sierra's? Why ... "Paul was so surprised to hear that.

Ray nodded. "But there's one that's hampering" Ray continued. "I know, you're the only one who has access to all the CCTVs in the forest house. And I know, you covered up what Martin did when he kidnapped Karen back then,"

"You deliberately shut up and hide the CCTV, in order to protect your child," Ray glanced at Paul sharply.

Paul's body was hot coldly hearing Ray's every explanation. It turns out she can't underestimate Ray, Karen's ex-husband. He doesn't expect Ray to know the secret he's trying to keep a deep eye on, in order to protect Martin and his company's reputation.

Ray held the flash in his hand once more.

"I'll give you all this evidence, as long as you give me all the CCTV footage of the day Martin kidnapped Karen. How, Mr Paul?"
