Sierra steadied his pace, although dozens of pairs of eyes that accidentally looked at him, always put on a face of shock with rumors that were reluctant to stop. Sierra's heart has been steady. He has to meet Martin today, with all the exciting and surprising things he wants to share with his former boss and stepson.
Sierra repeatedly stroked her stomach, as a natural instinct of a mother who was happy with her pregnancy. And there was Sierra in front of Martin's study, who was greeted by a confused-looking Seth. Seth bowed respectfully towards Sierra.
"Can I help you, ma'am?" As Martin's personal assistant, Seth certainly knows about Sierra and its history. Sierra's presence in Martin's office took Seth by surprise.
"I want to see Martin,"
Seth hurriedly checked the schedule, then started pressing Martin's room button. Before long, Seth moves to open the door of Martin's study, for Sierra, who has breathed a long sigh to strengthen his heart. After her marriage to Paul, Sierra had not seen Martin in a long time. More precisely, avoid meeting.
Seth hastily closes the door, giving Martin and Sierra privacy. The Sierra heart is beating very fast. Preparations for hours that he did for the sake of arranging the heart to meet Martin, now dissolved just by looking at Martin's eyes. The man also stared straight at Sierra, to observe from head to toe.
Sierra could not deny, Martin was indeed a man with a strong charm that was able to captivate him. His first love, and his unrequited love. Then Martin got up, walked slowly closer with an unwilling look to turn away from Sierra. Now Sierra knows why he can accept Paul's proposal even though his love for Martin has not been lost. Paul and Martin are like one soul in two bodies. Very similar, even from her gesture and behavior.
"How are you?" ask Martin, with a heavy tone.
Sierra retreated a little, because Martin was too close to him. Reflexes she also holds the stomach.
Martin glanced at Sierra's growing belly. "Do you want to threaten me with that baby?"
While gulping, Sierra walked forward to avoid Martin's gaze and hide the sound of his heart going wrong.
"You're a demon-hearted human, aren't you?" sierra chirps, trying to divert his head that keeps remembering the memory with Martin.
"Whatchu mean? You came all the way here just to abuse me?"
Sierra smiled. "You just showed everyone that you still have a grudge against Ray" Sierra explained. "You shouldn't have laughed so hard that night,"
"Oh, so you came on that shit day?" When he learned of Sierra's topic of conversation, Martin's face immediately brightened. He walked towards the Sierra.
Suddenly Martin stroked Sierra's stomach, with a grin. "May he not be the third devil,"
Sierra rebuffed Martin's hand with wide eyes full of jolts. "So what you say!" snapped Sierra.
Martin shrugged with both eyebrows linked. "Am I wrong, Sierra? You married my father, and this is the result of your relationship. You know who Paul is, and where do I inherit all this from?" Martin pointed to himself with a sarcastic smile.
"Paullah made me into a demon" Martin brought his face closer, about to touch Sierra's lips.
The Sierra quickly retreated. "Stop, Martin!"
Martin laughed loudly, echoing throughout his room. Sierra can only bite the lips. Martin is the same. A cruel man who will justify everything in order to achieve his goals.
"What's your purpose here? Did Ray tell you to come just to threaten me?"
During Sierra's time working for Paul or Martin, the two men never put up their wedding photos or any pictures of women on the desk. Both Paul and Martin were proud to show photos of their respective spouses, even though they were one of the most powerful men in the country. Paul has a photo of his marriage to Sierra, and Martin with Karen.
Should Sierra destroy that pseudo happiness?
"What's up, Sierra?" reprimand Martin, instantly disperse the Sierra reverie.
Sierra hurriedly shook his head. "I have to go" he said.
"Not so fast" Martin suddenly blocked his path. The man drew closer to Sierra's body, not forgetting to stroke Sierra's protruding belly.
"I miss you, Sierra. I miss touching you," whispered Martin, continuing to trace every inch of Sierra's smooth neck.
There was a great sigh that Sierra could not bear, but his heart was turbulent.
Plaque! Before long, any rejection from Sierra's heart resulted in the sudden work of his brain ordering him to slap Martin as hard as possible.
"So, Martin!" snapped it. "I am now your stepmother,"
Sierra rushes off, before Martin loses his mind. In a sudden unexpected response, the man stroked his cheek for two seconds then laughed very loudly, while hitting anything close to the reach of his foot. Martin's ego has been smeared. Sierra's vehement rejection and final words make Martin's ego so sick that there's nothing he wants to do but destroy Sierra's relationship with his father.
"What are you doing here?" tease Sophie with a suspicious look when she finds Sierra coming out of Martin's study.
Now, Sierra's brain is grateful to his heart for daring to reject Martin. If not, and the old lady sucks to catch them, then it's over Sierra's history. Such is Sierra's heart.
"I have a need with Martin" Sierra replied briefly.
Sophie folded her hands, growing suspicious. "What more do you want from my son? You're not teasing him, are you?"
Not offended, Sierra smiled. "For what? I already have everything now," She deliberately provoked Sophie's anger by stroking her distended belly.
Justright. Sophie's nose immediately kembis see Sierra's attitude. The old woman slightly pulled Sierra's clothes to get closer.
"Don't be happy first, you cheap lady," said Sophie right in Sierra's ear. "We'll see who wins" Sophie whispered.
Sierra was still smiling. "I'm pregnant with Paul's child, so it's obvious, right, who's the winner?" Sierra changeer whispered.
Sophie shakes. "No, before the child was safely born into this world," Sophie lowered her voice, to the effect of strong bullying.
Sierra was stunned, his heart was slipping. Sophie's threats never play games. The last time he ignored her, his body was hit by a huge truck that almost took his life.
