The Mystery of Lost Memory

The Mystery of Lost Memory
Evidence for Karen

“I'm your husband, Karen,” Martin said, hugging Karen's still-confused body tightly.

After everything was done, the crowd began to leave Karen and Martin who continued to embrace. So did the old woman whom Karen had not had time to ask her name, also left Karen even though her look remained worried.

“Karen, you're fine, right?” martin asked, observing every corner of Karen's body to make sure no one was hurt.

Karen shook her head with a pias look, unwilling to respond kindly to every corner of concern that Martin seemed to her face. After being satisfied with Karen's well-being, Martin immediately leads Karen into the car and back to their mansion.

“Why do I stay there?” ask Karen, on the way.

Martin took a quick glance, then leaned his body towards Karen. “That's your home, honey. You yourself are asking to stay calm in the village,”

Karen's not budging. Martin seemed very convincing, and seemed to know everything about Karen. Yet little heart Karen still refuses to believe in Martin one hundred percent.

“At last you go home, Miss,” Sierra exclaimed when he heard the sound of the fence being opened and Martin and Karen went inside their mansion.

Sierra ran a little toward Karen. “Nona, why did Miss run away from home?”

Karen didn't want to answer, but her glance at Sierra meant something. As if to Karen, Sierra's question doesn't matter, but she wants to ask her own.

“Why did you call me Miss?” search Karen. “I'm his wife,” He pointed at Martin who was standing next to him.

Sierra gasped for a while. Slightly glancing at Martin, he then chuckled.

“I-it was indeed Miss's favorite call, right?” sierra replied, trying very hard to disguise her nervousness.

Karen squinted at Sierra. “Can I trust you?”

“Already, dear,” Martin is breaking the tension between Karen and Sierra. “Let's have breakfast first,”

Sierra exclaimed in delight and seemed to strongly agree with Martin's idea. Then he hurriedly prepared a dining table for his master, with various delicious and fresh dishes that he cooked himself.

“Martin, I have a lot of questions for you,”, Karen said between breakfasts.

Martin glances at Sierra and hints at him leaving to give Martin and Karen some personal space.

“What's up, Honey?”

After getting a warm welcome from Martin, Karen immediately straightened her sitting position, putting down the cutlery neatly. He set his breath, as if he were facing a complicated and stressful interview process.

“Why don't I remember anything?” The first question was successfully asked by Karen without difficulty.

Martin looked smiling. “I will answer that question as a last question,” reply. “Do you have no other questions?”

Karen thought hard again after getting a rejection response from Martin. Then in a single breath, he managed to utter his question.

“Who are you?”

“I'm Martin Willis, husband Karen Stevens,” Martin replied steadily.

Karen gave a small nod, seemingly receiving a confident answer from Martin.

“Why am I in this house, while you are not?”

Martin laughed a little. “As I said earlier, you want to stay here. And I can't possibly stay here, while I have to run my business in the city. So I see you every weekend,” Martin explained at length.

“Now I can ask, right? Why don't I remember anything?”

Martin looked a little sad when he heard the last question from Karen. He lowered his gaze, as if he was setting his heart to choose the best words to say to Karen.

“Martin?” call Karen, because Martin just keeps quiet.

“Sayang .. “ Martin tightly grasps Karen's hand. “Do I really need to explain it to you?”

“Ya!” karen was very strict. “Whatever it is, you have to explain it to me,”

Martin nodded. She put away the plate in front of her, to be more able to have an intimate talk with Karen. The two of them stared at each other, though Karin's gaze was sharp and serious, Martin's gaze was instead shone with sadness.

“These are all side effects of the drug that you should take every day, darling,” Martin explained.

“What medicine? Why?” carol Karen.

“Aplastic anemia,” Martin replies slowly. “Your body ... stops producing blood cells and as a result, your body cannot dry the wound. That's why, honey, I'm so worried about you and as much as I can get Sierra to keep an eye on you,”

“What?” karen's response remained the same as she still couldn't understand everything.

Martin nodded heavily. “The only way is with the help of drugs, whose side effects can make you lose a little memory,”

“I don't feel any pain!” kilah Karen don't take it.

Martin stroked Karen's arms, trying to get his wife.

“And it is the medicine that helps your body, so, there is no other choice for me,” Martin said regretfully. “I'm sorry, Karen, My dear,” She's back in Karen's body.

Karen could hear Martin sobbing slightly after giving him an explanation. But the reaction given by Karen was unexpected. The woman seemed unhappy with Martin's reply, as she felt her body was healthy and fine.

“Nona, time to take medicine,” Sierra came out of nowhere, carrying a small tray containing a capsule and a glass of water.

Sierra placed the small tray in front of Karen, smiling like when they first met. Martin thrust the small tray in front of Karen, then took the capsule to give to Karen.

“This, drink, dear,” pinta Martin.

“No. I'm not sick,” reject Karen.

“Darling, there is no other way for you to survive than taking this medicine,” Martin explained. “I'll make sure you won't lose all your memory,”

Karen bit her lip, an overwhelming dilemma. On the one hand, his mind refused to take the drug which allegedly could further erase his memory, but on the other hand, he also did not want to die. Everything was heavy, but Martin's face of grief finally made Karen melt. He took the medicine without much demand.

Martin seemed very satisfied as he had confirmed that Karen had already swallowed the medicine. After kissing Karen on the forehead, Martin clears himself from exhaustion after a long drive from the city. It's a weekend, where he always takes the time to visit Karen.

Coming out of the bathroom fresh, Martin could see the beautiful figure of Karen with her long hair draped down sitting daydreaming on the edge of their bed. Martin smiled in a knot, slowly approached Karen and sat down next to her while wrapping his arms around Karen's waist. She's Karen's neck, full of affection and passion.

“Honey, do you miss me?” ask Martin.

Karen is voiceless, and Martin is constantly trying to arouse Karen in every way as a good husband. Although Karen did not answer Martin's question, she let her husband enjoy her body.

“Martin .. “ call Karen. “Can you give proof that we are indeed husband and wife?”
