“I-Mother .. “ Karen stammered, looking at the figure of Sophie who was standing in front of the entrance of her apartment, putting on an annoyed face.
Without excuse, Sophie just barged in, no matter what Karen might be reluctant to accept her arrival. Sophie felt entitled to come and enter whenever she wanted to go to her son Martin's apartment. Although Martin is now married, Sophie still feels entitled.
The old woman circulated her gaze around the entire corner of the luxurious apartment, to then exhale loudly. He re-attached his upset face, but this time while turning a sharp eye at Karen.
“Why is this home password replaced?” sophie protest.
Karen actually knew what she had to answer, but it would certainly offend Sophie.
“Mommy can I make you drink?” Karen tried to divert the conversation.
Two days ago, since the collapse of shares of the core company owned by Paul Willis thanks to cheap gossip spread by Sophie, Sophie is now one hundred percent the winner. Paul would never dare to interfere with his status as first wife, and Paul was also free to marry with Sierra.
And after nearly thwarting the happiness of Paul and Sierra, Sophie once again intervenes in her son's family. The woman accidentally comes to Martin's residence, to check what Karen really looks like.
“Do you help Sierra prepare his wedding party?” sophie asked, as Karen was busy in the kitchen preparing drinks for her.
Karen just nodded, back busy. Then Sophie walked up to Karen, with a glance full of intent.
“I want you guys to stay with me, after Paul's wedding,” pinta Sophie, smile seduce.
Karen was still speechless, staring at the pias of drinks and snacks she was going to serve Sophie.
“I will have a discussion with Martin, Mom,” Karen replied after a long time of thought.
Sophie knitted her brows. “You know, I live alone in that big house,” Sophie said. “Every day I'm alone, and now my husband is remarrying,”
Sophie picked up the drink Karen was serving, then exclaimed in amazement as it tasted good. He even once again exclaimed, as he tasted the cake made by Karen.
“I don't think you're very good at cooking, Karen,” comments Sophie proud. “Martin absolutely no mistake choosing a wife,”
Karen blushed a little embarrassed, but as much as she could hide. She doesn't want to be too rash to trust Sophie, given all the incredible cunning Sophie did to Sierra. As Karen knows, Sophie is no ordinary old lady.
Karen invited her mother-in-law to sit together on a long, soft sofa facing directly on a large window in the middle of the room. They could see skyscrapers through that window.
“But I never knew your family, Karen,” Sophie said suddenly. “What do they know, her son has changed husband?”
Karen gulped, slightly offended by Sophie's question.
“They already know, Mother,” replied Karen as kindly as possible.
“Why didn't you introduce them to me?” sophie asked in surprise, with her heartfelt look.
Karen smile. “Later I will definitely introduce my family to Mom,”
Instead of nodding off, Sophie raised her eyebrows. He again looked at Karen from top to bottom, just like his gaze when the two of them first met.
Karen said, smiling again. But Sophie's smile wasn't as sincere as when they talked about Karen's parents. His smile turned sly, slightly sneering with his eyes.
“Martin must have told you, right? What are the duties of a daughter-in-law of the Willis family?”
“What task, Mom?” asked Karen astonished. Just this time he heard about the duties of a daughter-in-law of the Willis family.
Sophie folded both hands in front of the chest. “You should be able to give offspring to Martin,” Sophie replied. She lyrics Karen with a threatening sneer. “Quickly,”
Karen again gulped, tensed unbelievably. Unexpectedly, just being alone with Sophie can cause bullying effects this severe. Karen clasped tightly onto the slowly empty glass, moving her finger to hide her nervousness.
“Do not disappoint me, yes,” Sophie's words sound full of threats, even though her tone looks normal.
Karen never knew being pregnant was a demand, before she married Martin. While with Ray, they long enough crave the presence of a child, to the point of despair and let everything flow as it is. But when she was with Martin, she did not expect that she was required to be pregnant immediately.
Sophie got up, and walked into Martin and Karen's private room. A slightly surprised look on Karen's face, but she couldn't do much because Sophie was already in it.
Once again the old woman circulated the gaze of observing all the corners, to the wardrobe where Karen's night dress was located.
Sophie lifted up one of the dresses, to then look at her disdain and throw it in any direction. Karen who was feeling very embarrassed hurriedly picked up the dress, and she put it a little way out of Sophie's reach.
Evening dresses are a privacy for all couples, and it is not appropriate for Sophie to search without permission. Even though it belonged to his own son.
“You use all this?” sophie asked still with a look of disdain.
But from Sophie's point of view, which certainly can not be understood by anyone, actually behind her gaze of disgust she harbored her own feelings of anger. The feeling of anger was not for Karen, but for Sierra. At the sight of the dresses that night, Sophie begins to imagine Paul and Sierra spending the night together, and that is what disgusts her.
“The poor woman I picked up from the slum orphanage, I gave money to eat and school, until I gave her an elite job so she could clear poverty from her body,” Sophie said suddenly. “But now, he is presumptuously trying to knock me off the throne,”
Karen knows for whom Sophie's anger is aimed. Who else if not Sierra May, the woman who will soon be Paul Willis' second wife.
“Means I have always hated poor women,” Sophie added. “Poor woman who dresses herself up to be a top woman. In fact, that poverty will never leave his face,”
Karen just kept quiet, didn't want to chim in. She doesn't feel as rich as Sophie, until she has the right to comment.
After being content to tear apart the contents of Martin and Karen's private room, the bored Sophie, rushed out of the room. He grabbed a glass of water sitting on the dining table, with breath stinged after spilling his emotions.
“You must know who I am, right?” sophie asked, walking intimidatedly close to Karen.
“I won't let the pebbles get in the way of my plan,” Sophie said, standing face to face with Karen at close range.
“Make sure you get pregnant soon and produce offspring for me, Karen,” pinta Sophie. “Atau .. “ She stroked Karen's stiffened shoulder from the start Sophie came.
“I'll kick you out of my son's life,”
