The Van Til House: STRAF SABBAT

The Van Til House: STRAF SABBAT
Chapiter 43

The other students had already started to split up leaving the grounds.

Hendra and Magisna were still in place, among the crowd of disciples who were milling about to and fro.

In the grounds beside the school, a number of construction workers had already started to get busy preparing their tools for the demolition.

In front of the school gate, Magisna found two police patrol cars parked.

The feathers immediately bristled. All this is prepared for the search for Alexza, his inner bitter.

Hendra wrapped his arms around Magisna's neck, then prevented her from walking towards the passage following Dika, Novi and their principal.

Dika glanced at them at a glance through the corner of his eyes before he finally disappeared at the door of the principal's room.

The feathers of Magisna back bristling. Something was strange, he thought. Dika's gaze made him uncomfortable.

"Lu don't feel it, Novi same Dika acting strange?" Magisna asked Hendra.

"We'll find out" replied Hendra while pulling Magisna harder, hinting that he would speed up his pace.

The door of the principal's room was already slammed shut when they got there.

Magisna raised her hand to knock on the door, but Hendra immediately held her back.

"Shhh..." Hendra placed an index finger on his lips, then pulled Magisna aside near the window and peered into the room.

Suddenly the door of the room crackled open and their principal appeared.

Hendra and Magisna looked surprised. Hendra pulled Magisna away from the principal's office as quickly as possible, then prevented him from running towards the bell substation.

The headmaster watched them with a flat face.

Magisna ran for breath. The distance from the principal's room to the bell substation was not how far away, but Magisna's heart was racing in panic. Makes her breath sting.

They stopped running near the bell substation.

Magisna turned to the headmaster's office and saw Novi coming out of Pak Isa's room, followed by Dika behind him. Then the three observed them with equally flat faces. Magisna shuddered.

What's up with them?

Why are they acting so weird?

"They're really weird" he told Hendra. Is it just my feelings? he said in his heart.

Hendra did not answer. His gaze was fixed on the bell substation with interlocked eyebrows.

Magisna turned her gaze in the same direction. Then he began to understand why Hendra looked so disappointed.

The guard of the substation today is not Papa Tibi.

They stopped their steps in front of the bell substation.

Magisna heard Hendra sigh heavily. Then he looked at her with a face that seemed to ask, "Now how?"

"Do you know where Ice is?" Magishna asked.

"Yes" replied Hendra, pointing to a house in the school's side yard, "Just beside the big foreman's house."

"Why do we meet him?" magisna.

Hendra just shrugged his shoulders.

.

"We know another way to get there" Agustin said, handing out masks and plastic lighters equipped with flashlights. The guy happened to be with Ais when Hendra and Magisna came.

The two boys had just returned from the police station and were washing Agustin's car in the yard of Ais' house.

It didn't take long to explain the purpose of Hendra and Magisna meeting them.

Agustin did respond quickly, Magisna thought.

They are now preparing to return to the Labyrinth to find Alexza, while finding out the truth about what happened to Novi, Dika and their principal.

How did they survive?

And why are they acting so weird?

Why do they act as if they were never together on Saturday? Their expressions showed as if they had never known us at all.

Magisna was inexhaustible.

Ais and Agustin walked in front of them with Agustin at the very front, leading them towards the vast field of weeds in the school's backyard.

"Follow the path" Agustin told him. "It's the road we used to go through" he explained.

"Review don't get the wrong stampede!" Ais added. "Here are many holes" he warned.

Magisna stepped hesitantly while glancing at Hendra.

Hendra wrapped his arms around Magisna's neck, trying to give her a sense of security.

Only five steps after Ais and Agustin warned them, Magisna's feet had slipped and almost mired into a hole on the side of the path.

Luckily Hendra immediately caught and restrained his body.

Magisna screeched in fear. His body immediately trembled. He remembered how it felt when he fell into the labyrinth. His legs had just recovered, and were now almost sprained again.

Ais and Agustin looked back.

"Say follow the path" Agustin reminded.

Magisna gulped. The path is really only as wide as the foot and can only be passed by one person. Magisna realized he could not walk side by side with Hendra.

"Lu go first" said Hendra.

Magisna inhaled a great deal of air to fill her lungs, trying to calm her rapidly pounding heart. Then he started to follow Ais and Agustin hesitantly.

Shortly thereafter Magisna heard a crunching sound behind her. He looked back and found Hendra missing.

"Ndra!" magisna screams in panic.

Ais and Agustin simultaneously stopped their steps and turned their heads back.

Calm down, Magisna reminded herself. This must be just one of Hendra's jokes.

Ais and Agustin burst out quickly, sneaking past Magisna and returning to the back to check around where Hendra had disappeared.

"Don't shift from the path" Agustin said quickly to Magisna.

Magisna stood stiffly in place with both knees trembling uncontrollably. "Not funny, Ndra!" his screams were a little choked. His little heart did not want to believe that this was just a joke.

"This place isn't funny" Ais chimed in. Then comb the weed bushes on the left-right of the path with his palm. Exposing it with both hands was like the movement of someone who was swimming.

Magisna watched the two without daring to shift from her place.

They heard a loud noise again. Harder than ever.

Ais and Agustin simultaneously stood up and circulated the view.

The grass bushes near them shook. Something was brewing under the bushes. Whatever it was, he was moving towards them.

"Revelation!" magisna screams with all her might.

A dark shadow darted across the path.

Ice and Augustine crashing to the ground.

"Curl!" The ice screamed like a girl. "Run!" his orders to Magisna pointed the way back.

Magisna gasped and gulped.

"Turn around!" Agustin added quickly.

"But Hendra--"

"Run!" repeat Ice half rebuking.

Magisna rushed past the two and ran towards the back.

"Don't look back!" Agustin warned.

But Magisna simultaneously turned her head back then and tripped over the grassroots. His body fell with both knees landing on the ground first. But his view did not want to switch from the place of Ais and Agustin. Reflexes, he turned his body to sit up, staring straight at the place of Ais and Agustin.

His face immediately paled and stiffened.

Two dark shadows darted again across the path. This time, he saw it very clearly. Like a savage beast with the speed of running equivalent to a race car.

What kind of creature is that?
