That afternoon Magisna left earlier than usual.
A little too excited!
His mother glanced towards the wall clock and frowned. Then glance at the watch in his hand to make sure the wall clock is not being broken. "It's only eleven o'clock," he fell off the dinner table.
Magisna spread her shoulders at a glance. "I had a little business before school" he reasoned. Then kissed his mother's cheek in a hurry.
It was her mother's turn now who was twisting helplessly.
Magisna rushed out with wide steps and did not turn her head again. He even forgot his lunch. Either because they are too excited or impatient.
I have to see Agustin, he thought. Then waited for him in the parking lot restlessly.
"You came to the side" Augustin licked as soon as they met. The guy immediately approached her as soon as he saw her, followed by another guy who looked familiar in Magisna's eyes.
White-faced oriental-Kiddo guy Callaghan. The guy was no longer wearing glasses.
He succeeded, Magisna thought, smiling at the man. The guy returned his smile.
Agustin watched the two take turns. "Do you know each other?" ask with eyes squashed.
Magisna just shrugs.
Kiddo did not react.
"I thought he was already.." Agustin hung up his sentence as he glanced at Kiddo.
"Yes," cut off Magisna while looking at Kiddo meaningfully. "He succeeded!"
Kiddo only chuckled thinly and the three then walked hand in hand towards the canteen, ordered food and took a seat in the corner of the room.
"Gua didn't think the ghost was actually sleeping" Magisna commented after they sat down.
"Gua didn't think all this was real" Kiddo said. "Gua thought it was just a dream."
Agustin smiled faintly.
Someone came to their table to deliver the order.
"I still don't understand what happened" Agustin said after the man left. "I mean." he glanced at Kiddo and looked at Magisna with questioning eyes.
"Kiddo's clay shines," Magisna's story chuckles.
Kiddo chuckled back, "Gua has not told Agustin the same story," he said. "The cave even has no plans to make this pain like anyone. No one will believe either. Gua thinks Agustin doesn't know."
"I don't know" said Agustin. "Magisna told me."
Kiddo frowned, watching the two take turns. Question after question popped into his head.
How long have they known each other?
How close is their relationship?
And most importantly how could they talk about these kinds of things without worrying about being seen as weird?
It seems that the two of them are really close, Kiddo thought. But then try to put everything aside. It's none of your business, scold yourself.
A brief, memorable experience could have gotten them to know each other. More like a strange experience. Just like her.
Kiddo never knew what they had gone through before him. Agustin never told about things that—, according to him, will only make himself seen as strange.
Who would have thought they would meet in the same strange matter?
Everything is too coincidental!
Who's gonna believe it?
But this is where they now— gathered at the cafeteria table in the corner of the room, discussing a senseless matter.
"Your friends." Agustin said hesitantly to Magisna.
Magisna stopped chewing her food and blinked, looking at Agustin with a look of anxious hope.
"This morning they were found unconscious in the main corridor of the school," said Agustin, bowed, turning his attention to the glass of juice that he had only stirred.
Magisna swallowed her food with great difficulty, then sipped the fruit juice from her glass hurriedly. "Everything?" tanyanya.
Agustin raised his face and looked back at Magisna. "Just Hendra and.." he tried to remember.
"Alexza?" Magisna cut impatiently.
"Yes" answered Agustin quickly. "Our school was intense this morning" he said, smiling wryly.
Magisna frowned, looking at Kiddo and Agustin alternately with an expression demanding an explanation.
Kiddo just shrugged his shoulders. You know the story, he thought.
"There was a lot of blood on the floor" Agustin continued. "But they're not hurt at all."
Magisna gave a short sigh. "That's Orange blood" Magisna explained.
Agustin's turn is now frowning.
"Until it's safe" Magisna added. "The same old man Kiddo took him to the hospital."
"Don't glare at the cave" Kiddo said.
"You guys are there?" Agustin asked half-demandingly.
Kiddo and Magisna exchanged a glance.
"What exactly happened?" urged Agustin.
"They're orange, '" Magisna's story.
"And you attacked them?" Agustin.
"Those who attacked the cave first," Magisna glared back. "Kiddo's just trying to nolong cave. But—"
"But what?" Agustin raised his eyebrows.
"Suzy—" Magisna gulped and choked in her throat.
Agustin was frozen.
"Suzy was the same little boy." Magisna tried to remember the name of the little girl, but then realized he did not know.
"Su Si" interrupted Agustin.
"Yes, Suzy!" repeated Magisna.
"I mean the little boy" explained Agustin. "The little boy is called Su Si!"
Magisna doesn't understand.
"Suzy and Su Si. both are the same person!"
Magisna looked increasingly confused.
"Forget it," murmured Agustin. He should not have to repeat this explanation. Papa Tibi explained it to Magisna. But the girl seemed to have forgotten.
"Continue now where are they?" Magisna diverted the conversation. "I mean the cave, where's Hendra and Alexza?"
"They've been taken to the hospital" answered Kiddo and Agustin almost simultaneously.
Magisna looked at the two in turn. Then came back short. "The return cave to Doolhof," he said later.
Agustin spontaneously stammered.
"Gua knows this is a whimper.. heroic ass!" kilah Magisna's. "But the cave pen diveelametin cement cave."
Agustin blinked and gulped. Then look towards Kiddo.
"The cave's coming" said Kiddo.
Agustin is still stuttering. I doubt and think hard. But it finally gave up after Magisna explained the situation.
"Their souls may still be trapped in the Doolhof."
"How do I save them?" Agustin looks unsure.
"Kiddo was once caught in the same situation" Magisna said. "She was attacked by that fog at school and her soul was trapped in the school. Gua tasa temen-tenemen cave also kek that."
"You were attacked by that fog?" Agustin asked Kiddo.
Kiddo just shrugged his shoulders.
Agustin blinked and turned to Magisna.
"The cave formations have changed since they were found unconscious at Doolhof" Magisna continued.
"I understand," Agustin cut quickly. "But...how do I find a soul, I mean—they're invisible!"
"The grotto said—gua laki Kiddo haunting!" Magisna raised her voice.
The whole room turned towards them.
Magisna spontaneously lowered her voice. He leaned over the table, leaning his body towards Agustin. "Gua can see them" he whispered.
"We are gathered at the house of Ais," Agustin decided. Then the three got out of the canteen and parted ways in the parking lot.
Kiddo and Agustin rush home in their own vehicles, while Magisna rushes to the school terrace.
In front of the entrance, Magisna runs into a schoolgirl wearing a hoodie and glasses.
At first he thought it was Novi. But then it was flabbergasted as soon as it realized the girl was not a vocational school student. But SMU students.
Magisna was no stranger to the girl. Who yeah? He tried to remember while watching her.
The girl looked back at Magisna with a flat face.
I remember! Magisna squealed in her heart.
Early!
The daughter of the great foreman who lived next door to the house of Ais.
He's possessed too!
