The Van Til House: STRAF SABBAT

The Van Til House: STRAF SABBAT
Chapiter 47's

"Yey's so excited to get a car, Bestie!" Ms. Ikha shouted in front of the gate of her house, on her tiptoes as she turned her head towards Bu Desy's house across from her house. "Eyke car cake just let us be more friendly!"

"Well, don't ask for gas money later!" Miss Desy throws a deadly threat.

Bu Ikha brandished her thumb and index finger to form the letter O while grinning. Then he slid into his garage and pulled out the car.

Bu Desy stepped out and opened the door of Ms. Ikha's car.

Magisna took advantage of the opportunity to sneak into the car. I want to see my body, he said.

Along the way, the two women began to noisily gossip about their complex neighbors.

I should've known why Ms. Ikha took Ms. Desy in the car, Magisna thought she was sick of it.

He slipped by Bu Desy's side in the front passenger seat because only the door was open.

Ms. Desy was inching uneasily throughout the trip. Feeling uncomfortable with his sitting position that feels narrow even though his body is as straight as a midi.

"Yey again em?" Ma asked suspiciously.

"I don't know, here. The feeling of a narrow seat bat kek sat both!"

Bu Ikha groaned. "Jan nakutin eyke what, BESTie! Eyke is brave."

"Eyke says it's just a feeling!" sergeant Bu Desy.

Ten minutes later, the car had entered the hospital parking lot.

Magisna sneaked out before Miss Desy. Then go to the lobby. Looking to and fro with a restless attitude.

His father and mother sat hunched over on the visitor bench in front of the ICU room. Both looked grim and pale.

"Ma! Pa!" Magisna shouted out to the two as they rushed towards them. But none of them reacted.

The sound of a heart-detecting machine rang from the ICU room as Magisna approached the two while sobbing.

Magisna stopped crying and peered into the room with her eyebrows intertwined. Still got a heartbeat?

A person lies down with an infusion hose on the side of his safe.

Is that me? Magisna screeched while smothering her mouth.

"Mom Belva!" The chaotic duo behind Magisna approached her mother in a hurry.

The two Magisna parents turned their heads towards them.

Magishna also looked at them.

"Where is Neng Gisna?" Ms. Desy asked with a dramatic mimic.

Magisna's mother forced a smile. "Still unconscious, Miss Desy. Thank you, for coming!"

Still unconscious? Magisna felt a breath of fresh air. There is still a heartbeat, there is hope.

The two mothers exchanged kisses with Magisna's mother.

Magisna's father withdrew and bade him go to the musala.

Magisna looked at her father with a sad expression.

Even my father ignored me! bleakness.

The women sat in rows and began to talk.

Ms. Desy looks the most talented at conducting interviews. Well--yeah, of course, Magisna thought. He is a journalist!

"Is the condition bad enough, Mrs Bel?" tanya Bu Desy with kepo style typical of PKI mothers.

Magisna doesn't want to know the continuation, she sneaks inside when a nurse comes out of the ICU room. Stepping trembling closer to the gurney, inspecting himself. A strange feeling ambushed Magisna.

There was still a heartbeat, he repeated in his heart, trying to encourage himself,. There is still hope for self-awareness. I'm not dead yet.

By the way....

How do I get back into my body? He wondered inwardly and imagined himself lying on top of his body like in the movies.

Then he tried it.

And…

Nothing happened!

His plasmatic body only pierced through his physical body without acting on each other.

Is there no hope?

Am I really dead?

Magisna retracted her plasmatic body and sat stunned on top of her physical body. Looks desperate at once.

All of the negative emotions suddenly ambushed him. Grief, bitterness, indistinct anger, disappointment, despair to the extreme level of worry pressed on him. He wanted to scream but no one helped him. No one heard it. Even God feels like nonsense.

Is this how Dusk felt before he disappeared?

Will I disappear like him?

Magisna bent her knees and hugged her, sucked her face over the folds of her hands and cried out. Screaming with all his might.

"It's so noisy!" Someone rebuked.

Magisna flinched and raised her face. Someone could finally hear me, he thought happily. Am I finally awake?

Have my soul and body been reunited?

"You again!" A waist-haired man bowed over Magisna's head.

Magisna blinked and observed the man's face with a round mouth.

"P--Pak Dusk!" Magisna. "Why is it here?"

"I don't know either" said the man. "I've always been anywhere without me noticing!"

Magisna gulped. "A–-a—You never really disappear?"

The man gave a short sigh. "I don't know!" He confessed.

Magisna frowned.

The man bowed with a grim face. "I was like. dusk," he whispered. Then he looked at Magisna. "I mean, sambekala!"

Magisna. Still don't understand what that means.

"I'm like a time loop, Magisna. Like the evening that settles down when the night oppresses him, and then rises and sinks again. Like the wind that blows south, then turns north, and in its turn, it always returns."

Magisna is still flinching. He could understand the situation, but did not know how exactly. How explain?

"I.." Dusk gulped. His voice sounds smaller. Then it disappeared and drowned. His mouth twitched, but there was no sound.

Magisna squinted her eyes, as if in such a way she could sharpen her hearing.

"I'm still hunting" the man's voice again sounded natural. "But I don't know what I'm hunting!"

"Does that have anything to do with your last memory?" ask Magisna.

Dusk stared at him, as if he had just realized that Magisna was there. It was as if Magisna had appeared suddenly and shocked him.

Magisna raised next to her eyebrows, waiting for Dusk's reply.

"I don't remember anything!"

Magisna.

The man was glowing and twitching. Like when he's gonna disappear in the barn.

"Pak Dusk—" Magisna screeched restrained.

The man really disappeared.

Then someone groaned from a gurney across the Magisna gurney.

An electrocardiogram beats fast like an alarm.

Two nurses entered the room and rushed towards the patient opposite the Magisna gurney.

"Sine tachycardia!" One of the nurses was shocked.

"I'll call the doctor" the other nurse said, then rushed out of the room.

Magisna is still frozen.

Is this just a coincidence? thought. Why did it feel like the patient suddenly reacted after Dusk disappeared?

Magisna's mother and their two neighbors peered into the room through the small glass at the entrance.

Maybe my mother wished it was me, Magisna thought bitterly. Looking sad at the face of his mother who looks tired.

I need to figure out how to get back into my body! He decided, then stepped down from the gurney and approached the patient's gurney across from his gurney.

A guy, probably Ais's age, was lying on top of the gurney with wide eyes, but not blinking. His chest was heaving and jerking, his breathing hunting irregularly. Cold sweat flooded over his pale face.

A female doctor burst into the room, followed by the nurse who had rushed out.

Magisna noticed the guy when the doctor examined him. But his mind is floating. The process of handling the child did not help him get an answer at all.
