"I was as stubborn as you were at school" said Mr. Isa along the way. "Sometimes it can be a good thing."
Orange turned to the back seat and exchanged a smile with Dini.
Dini let out a short sigh and lowered the glass. He looked out, to see Magisna riding his motorcycle not far on the side of Pak Isa's car. Then suddenly scream.
Orange jerked his head to the side and glanced back, while Pak Isa peered through the rearview mirror above his head.
Dini stuttered while pointing towards Magisna.
The orange raised its body slightly and looked out the window.
Magisna doesn't ride her motorcycle alone. A short-haired boy in an SMU uniform sits down on the edge of Magisna.
Orange screech restrained while smothering his mouth with one hand.
"What's going on?" Isa asked impatiently.
"Eka—" Orange answered stammeringly.
And at once, Mr. Isa braked his car.
The Magisna motorcycle slid slowly through the steering door and moved to the front of the car.
Pak Isa noticed it with his eyebrows interlocked. "What's wrong?" tanyanya is impatient.
The orange stuttered with a look of confused face.
There was no one in the shadow of Magisna.
Magisna was alone on her motorcycle.
Pak Isa glanced at him with a reproachful look.
"Sorry," muttered Jingga as she slumped back to her seat. What did I see just now? The orange wonders in the heart. I saw it too, right? He glanced at Dini.
Dini returned her gaze with a guilty feeling. I must have seen it wrong, he thought.
Isa is running his car again. Magisna was far away in front of them.
Magisna watched Pak Isa's car through the rearview mirror with eyes squashed. What the hell's going on? thought. Why did they suddenly stop? He slowed down his motorcycle and looked back.
The car caught up with him and Magisna sidelined his motorcycle, driving slowly on the side of Pak Isa's car as before. "What's wrong?" He asked Isa sir.
"Just a prank job of your friends," grumbled Pak Isa with a sour look.
Magisna chuckled thinly and shook her head.
Then they continued their journey in silence.
Entering the yard of Van Til's house, Magisna accelerated the speed of his motorcycle and left Pak Isa's car.
"Where is he?" Isa asked, I don't know who.
Orange just shrug.
"The house of the head of RT," Dini replied almost whispered.
Isa stopped his car in front of the main terrace, then turned to Dini. "Chairman RT?"
"Mmm.. I mean. RT Chairman's son was Magisna's friend." Answer the wave.
Isa sighed and turned off the machine. Then waiting.
Orange and Early also did not immediately move from its place. They all looked out waiting for Magisna.
A number of construction workers flocked from the school's side yards and walked past them. For a moment they glanced at the car and bowed respectfully to Mr. Isa.
Isa raised his hand towards them while nodding. Then open the door and sneak out of the car.
Orange and Dini followed him, then the three gathered on the side of the car.
A foreman approached Mr. Isa and experienced him. "It was late afternoon" he said. "We're all going home."
"I didn't come to control" Isa replied with a faint smile. "Go home, have a good rest!"
The foreman raised his hand in a respectful manner, then pleaded with himself.
"Ah—Pak!" Isa suddenly stopped him.
The foreman spontaneously frowned.
"How long will the renovation take?" ask Isa sir hesitating.
The foreman smiled wryly and bowed. "I'm not sure" he said grimly. "There's always been a landslide every time we've managed to fix one piece. Every part that has been repaired must be repaired the next day, as if the old building did not receive the repair. Each patch never blends into the old wall. They're like.oil and water!"
Isa sir was silent.
Mr. Isa blinked uneasily, at a loss for his words.
"Patching old buildings doesn't seem like a good idea" suggested Mr. Mandor. "Maybe we should just demolish the old buildings and rebuild the new buildings. Or the underground tunnel is closed!"
Isa looked like he was thinking hard. "The tunnel was a fertilizer warehouse," he said hesitantly.
"Take center," proposed the foreman again. "Perform the demolition or stop the renovation!"
Isa did not answer.
"There is no need to rush to make a decision. But think about it carefully" said the foreman, ending the conversation, and then pleading once more.
Pak Isa was still frozen in place for a long time, until Magisna appeared with Ais and Agustin. Kiddo was with them. And Papa Tibi too.
Isa was surprised to find the preparation. Eka Magisna was not playing around, he said inwardly.
"So.." Isa observed all the people behind Magisna one by one. "What exactly are you going to do?" ask her to Magisna.
Magisna smiled faintly as she looked up at the headmaster. "Study tour," she joked.
"Then you need a guide," concluded Pak Isa while raising his shoulders.
Then they all rushed to the school terrace.
Isa took the key out of his pants pocket and opened the front door.
Luckily today there is Mr. Isa, Magisna thought. Otherwise, we would have to go to the Van Til field to take the alternative path full of traps.
Isa closed the door again after everyone entered the main corridor and locked it.
Magisna looked at him with her eyebrows intertwined. "Why locked?"
"Just in case there may be an uninvited guest while we are down there and don't know it" answered Mr. Isa.
Magisna nodded in understanding and followed the principal, followed by everyone else.
Papa Tibi walked in the backmost position with both hands crossed behind his body.
No one spoke along the dark and musty-smelling corridor. The only sound that could be heard was the thumping noise of the heels of their shoes knocking on the surface of the floor.
Their steps had already reached the corner of the corridor in front of the uppermost class.
Mr. Isa turned towards the toilet and passed it deep inside and stopped in front of the warehouse door next to another door of a room that read: Broken.
Isa opened the door that read: Broken.
Magisna smiled wryly and shook her head.
None of the students were allowed to open the door.
It's easy to hide the secret behind a room just by labeling it: BROKEN.
Who would be interested in touching something broken?
Isa looked back before pushing the door wide open, giving instructions to everyone without words.
Magisna sneaked in first and found the stairs leading down. The room under the stairs looked dark. Magisna didn't want to risk getting mired in the hole like before. So he stopped at the top of the stairs and waited for the others.
A bunch of mice jolted and squeaked when everyone had entered the room.
Magisna held onto her nape, imagining the rats wriggling in her hair while giggling.
Rats don't giggle, Magisna! he scolded himself.
Isa came out and disappeared for a while, then returned with a lantern.
Papa Tibi had already walked in front of them by lighting a flashlight.
As a temple who has been guarding this house for years, Papa Tibi certainly knows this place better than Pak Isa.
Magisna rushed to follow him, followed by the orange not far behind him.
Suddenly Dini burst past them, then rushed into the tunnel without lighting.
"Well!" Isa sir shouted at him.
Then everyone screamed almost simultaneously.
What the hell's going on?
Why is he acting like that?
Why is he suddenly?
