Magisna gulped and froze in place.

"Suddenly I remember my purpose in possessing this child" said Dusk. Magisna looked at him. The guy took his grip off Magisna's shoulder. "I have to go home" he said later.

"Wait—" Magisna held him down.

"We still have plenty of time to talk about this, Magisna!" twilight Sergeant. "You've got to get to class!"

Right, Magisna realized. Then release the Dusk.

Dusk waved his hand cursively, then hurriedly left.

Magisna stared at him until the guy disappeared at the door. Then turned around and rushed to follow Hendra and Alexza who were already far ahead of him. Shortly thereafter the two disappeared into the classroom located at the end of the corridor.

Magisna let out a disappointed sigh and slowed her pace, then looked around. Researching all the classes he passed one by one. The classes were filled with vocational school children. But not his classmates.

"Third bench, Eka!" Miss Pinkan pointed at the front row of the bench as she stepped inside towards her own bench. "And hurry!"

Magisna froze in front of the door, staring at the bench that was appointed by Miss Pinkan. A short-haired girl in an SMU uniform occupied her stool.

"What are you waiting for?" Miss Pinkan rebuked him. "Sit up!"

"But—" Magisna stuttered. His lap was full, Magisna thought.

Miss Pinkan glared impatiently.

Magisna looked up at the row of back benches and looked at Dika.

Dika sat leaning on the back bench, still frozen with a flat face, staring straight at the teacher bench. He did not take off his hoodie sweater even on a hot day, he said inwardly. And. her glasses…

Magisna suddenly shuddered imagining the color of Dika's eyes as well as a pale yellow that might light up in the dark.

Magisna actually did not want to get close to Dika. But the only empty bench left was just the bench next to him.

Magisna rushed to the back and took a seat beside Dika.

Dika glanced at him with a cynical expression, then inched slowly away from him and kept his distance.
