The orange sunlight slowly shone on the black armor of the knight. A Black Sword with a green jewel attached to its hilt eroded every layer of dead wooden rod every time the knight's arm swung. Each swing made the armour crackle at each other. While training, the man still imagined his battle with Rasgan. The Black Knight realized that a powerful force was embedded in his field and appeared during his battle at that time. Even though he swung many times, but the power still could not be released. He wanted to immediately master the power, so that the knight could avenge him.
Behind the trees, Archie appeared with a restless face, full of thoughts. “What problems are there?” ask the Black Knight.
The lavender-scented man put his hands in his pants pocket. “This is about Anna, I mean Faye, yes, about Faye.”
“What's wrong with Miss Faye?”
“What are we going to do now? This problem is too big for me. I don't know what to do, it feels like to be at the end of a cliff.” His head looked up at the light that pierced through the canopy. “Yesterday there were 3 people who entered the forest, I don't know what we will face next.”
The knight stopped. He stood up straight and looked at Archie from behind his head protection. “I also want to ask you. Why are you still here?” The heavy and gallant voice of the knight pierced through his head protector.
“Of course helps lighten its load. I don't want the girl to be alone as pathetic as I am,” said Archie.
“Means it should be clear. Help Miss Faye protect her precious things.”
Archie was stunned, his lips tightly shut.
When the sky becomes night, in the Magic Tree, or the name for a large gray tree that becomes the barrel of Faye. As usual, the girls looked at the starry night sky with the moon at its center. The two of them sat on a branch accompanied by Rue and another group of dark-haired owls. Faye sighed. “Either why, this time I feel tired.”
Rynn who was sitting next to him, yawned. “Sama, I'm tired too. Looks like tonight's enough. Want to go back home?”
Faye shook her head.
“Alright, I go home first.” The girl jumped off the branch. His hands were slightly scuffed while treading the rocky ground.
“You want me to heal?”
“What's wrong, you look exhausted, no need to use your magic.” Rynn then patted the dust off her skirt. “Goodnight, Faye.”
Faye did not answer, the girl was only fixated on the moon.
Rynn smiles. He picked up the lantern that was placed under the tree and left. Rynn directed his lantern forward, a dim light appearing from a distance. Little by little the light grew brighter and brighter, illuminating the form of a house among the darkness. Rynn then put the lantern in the yard. “Have Archie and Blackie returned?” muttered.
When the girl opened the front door and looked at the contents of the house, her gaze was fixed on the door on the right. The door that had been sealed with some kind of magic and only Faye was allowed to go inside, was wide open. The curious girl, walked slowly towards the door made of black wood. He peeked and shouted, “Faye, have you gone home?”
There's no answer. The girl then ventured, entering the dimly lit room. He thought maybe Faye was inside and forgot to close the door. Rynn then intends to say hello and satisfy his curiosity about the contents of the room that is kept secret by Faye. Rynn picked up the candle hanging on the wall, and directed forward to see the room more clearly. The girl saw the whole room but there was no one there. He was only amazed by the books, parchments, and magic tools neatly arranged on the shelves. “Why does he forbid us from entering this room? After I looked around there was nothing strange or dangerous or anything like that.” The girl wondered as her eyes scanned every object.
His finger traced the titles of books he had never seen before. He picked up a book with a dull green cover. The content on each page explains the variety of plants and how to care for them, which is not Rynn's favorite thing. He put it back down by taking the other book in the row below. A fictional book that tells the story of romance between different princes and princesses of the kingdom, wrapped with internal problems that wreak havoc not only on the couple but the kingdom they occupy - this is what Rynn is waiting for.
As Rynn wanted to start reading the first paragraph, his eyes involuntarily glanced at an old book flanked by children's fairy tale books and guidebooks using magic canes. The book's back was brown crinkled like a dried up dirt of mud.
His eyes continued to glare at the book, until the candle flame grew smaller. “Take, no, take, no, take, no...” murmured the girl. Then his determination was round, and his hand immediately pulled the book off the shelf. “Alright, curiosity, you beat me this time.”
Rynn stared at the brown cover full of scratches and cracks. At the top of the cover, a white ink read ‘A Book Milik’. The girl flipped through the book but did not find the name of the owner. “Whose?” He took the middle page and opened the book. Rynn. A courtyard features paintings of winged dragons that spew fire in detail, from skeletons to eggs. Complete with descriptions and information of the creature written in plain black ink. The girl then opens the next page, another painting of a green lizard that has gorgeous sail fins. “It looks like the owner of this book is very fond of animals,” muttered Rynn.
The view then switches to the writing at the top of the page. The girl brought the candle closer so that the writing would be clearly visible. “Free.” Rynn read it in a small voice. He closed his eyes expecting something to happen, but not according to his expectations, nothing happened. He turned the next page, and read the writing again, and nothing happened, even Rynn to repeat it 5 times to be sure. “Hm, then what does that writing mean?”
The girl closed the book again after her curiosity was fulfilled. When it wanted to put it back in place, the book swayed uncontrollably like it wanted to break away. The longer the shock the more wild to make the girl's grip detach. The brown book fell on the floor, the blue light emanated brightly from the book to dazzle Rynn's eyes. Not only the light, but the wind was also blowing from the book. The girl held her hat to keep it from flying. Slowly the light disappeared again, leaving another light that came from the candle. A number of animal paintings in the book have disappeared. Rynn then opened his eyes and faintly saw a small shadow figure creeping in front of the girl. After his vision adjusted to the surroundings, the figure became clearer, that of a lizard with blue sail fins on its back as seen in the book.
The confused Rynn, slowly approached the lizard to ascertain whether it was real or his delusion. The lizard turned its head towards Rynn, the blue screen that stretched on his back changing color to bright yellow. With lightning fast, the lizard ran outside the room with its small legs. Rynn put down his hat and wand, picked up the brown book, and chased the lizard to the front door. An angry cold face appeared in front of Rynn. “F-Faye!?”
Faye was standing right in front of the door. His eyes stared hard at Rynn. “What are you doing?”
The powerful aura emanating from Faye's anger made Rynn tremble. Rynn then hid the book behind his back. “Eh, I, it, um, a-I just.” Rynn's voice stammered. Cold sweat on his face.
Faye narrowed her eyes. He's waiting for Rynn's answer.
Rynn finally gave up, he sighed as he pulled out a book from his back. “Sorry, the door was open, and when I went inside, I found this book and read it, just read it.” The girl grimaced. “Sorry. Don't upset me.”
Faye grabbed the book, and opened the contents. Throbbing head. “You have released these creatures.” The girl showed me a page with a blank painting, only a description was left.
In the depths of his heart, Rynn was happy to know that something miraculous had happened to him, but on the other hand he felt guilty for having entered the room and done so at will.
“Faye.” A male voice accompanied by footsteps rang out from behind the trees. Archie and the Black Knight appeared and ran towards the house. Their breaths gasping. Archie approached Faye while trying to catch his breath. “We saw something big in black, shaking branches of trees. We don't know what it is, we go straight to find you.”
“What enemies have appeared?” asked the Black Knight, his eyes began to look warily around.
Archie observes Rynn's bowed face and Faye's visibly upset face. “What really happened?”
Faye sighed. He then invited them all to sit in a chair to explain what had happened.
