The Black Knight and Rynn arrive home. The girl reached for the silver handle and turned it down. The door hinges creaked along with the influx of moonlight that was getting away. The girl looked around, and got nothing but the furniture in general. Rynn entered the room followed by the knight behind him. “Is it possible that the creature has escaped?” ask the knight.
The girl put her animal book on the table. “Maybe.”
A sound of falling objects was heard from the kitchen. Rynn rushes to the kitchen and finds the jar containing the berries falling fragmented on the floor. A lizard with green scales crept down from the shelf to the floor. The lizard stamped a berry in its mouth full of tiny teeth.
Rynn yelling. “That's him! I found it.”
The lizard was shocked and released its fruit bite. The color of the sail fins on his back turned yellow and then red. The lizard darted through Rynn's legs. “He escaped!”
The Black Knight who was in the front room bowed and tried to catch him. However, the creature's small body was too nimble for the knight, and the lizard made it past the two of them without any trouble heading to the bushes outside.
The girl poked her head back through the kitchen doorway. Rynn and the Black Knight looked at each other.
The man pulled the chair closest to the door and sat down. His head rests on the back of the chair. “I can count on you, right?”
A smile was on his face. The girl was happy that someone else was relying on her. “I'll try,” said Rynn excitedly.
He went back to the kitchen. Go to the page and read any information written on that page. “Farbelwer is a shy creature. He is also sensitive to his surroundings.. In addition to regulating body temperature and pulling the opposite sex, the screen on his back will change color according to his emotional condition, yellow means alert, and red means danger,” murmured the girl. His finger slid to the next sentence. “His favorite food... Oh, the creature is hungry! Of course.” Head lifted.
Rynn picked up a number of berries and collected them in his left hand. He grabbed the book and rushed outside. “Blackie, please clean the broken jar in the kitchen,” the cry is excited.
“Alright, I'll clean up. Good luck,” said the knight.
The girl knelt on the ground. After a fresh berry was laid on the ground, it retreated a bit further to give the creature a sense of comfort. The next step is to wait patiently. Silence surrounded the girl, no crickets or any sounds. The owl seemed to have grown tired of accompanying the moon with singing.
The rustling sound resuscitated Rynn who was almost defeated by his drowsiness. The lizard emerged from the bushes, its tongue sticking out. Creeping slowly toward the berries that Rynn had placed. The screen is yellow, meaning the creature is still wary of Rynn's whereabouts. “What a little friend, no need to fear,” said the girl, her soft voice calms not only the human heart but the lizard's heart.
The screen on his back slowly changed to blue. The lizard devoured the berries calmly. The girl then ventured to feed directly. He slowly extended the berries in his hand to the lizard. Initially, the lizard stuck out its tongue to make sure it was dangerous or not, as it felt no threat, it took the berries in Rynn's hand and ate them. A sweet grin was drawn on Rynn's face. “I thought all the creatures in the book were terrible and dangerous, it turns out not all.”
As Rynn fed Farbelwer, the lizard's sail fin suddenly turned red. The lizard crawled and hid behind Rynn. There was the sound of a girl screaming faintly from the darkness. Shouts like warning Rynn of something coming, but Rynn couldn't possibly respond. And the longer it gets closer and clearer. “Rynn. Watch out!”
The scythe claw slid straight towards Rynn. The girl was like she was locked in place, unable to move, just fixated on the scythe that was pointing at her very quickly. Just before the claw touched the girl, a Black Sword darted like the wind in front of Rynn, holding the claw coming from a ferocious beast like a ferret known as the Scy Launcher. The green gem shines, as it responds to the wishes of its holder, the Black Knight. Winds from all corners of the forest gathered and coated the sword blades, throwing the ferret high into the air as the Black Knight swung it.
Archie unrolled the final sheet and pointed it up where the weasel was about to fall. A powerful energy appeared and sucked the creature back in sheets. “It's done.”
Rynn sighed. “What the hell was that creature? Strange shape.”
“Nature is about function instead of form,” says Knight Black.
The atmosphere was calm again, marked by the Farbelwer screen returning blue. Faye ran over to Rynn. The girl helped Rynn wake up. “You all right?” said worried. Rue glided and landed on Faye's shoulder.
Rynn was a little surprised, as this was the first time seeing Faye worried. Little by little the stiff girl changed. Rynn was happy to hear him, he nodded his head and his smile returned.
Faye turned to the Black Knight behind her. His eyes looked at the green gem whose rays faded back on the Black Sword then turned to the knight. “It looks like you are slowly mastering it a bit, yes.”
The knight raised his sword. “But this is not enough.” Then sheathed it back at the waist.
With his breath gasping, Archie joined in. He patted the Black Knight's shoulder. “You're great too, Uncle.”
Faye's eyes were fixed on a lizard on Rynn's shoulder. “Rynn, there is still one unfinished.”
Rynn jerks. “Oh, I forgot.” The girl knelt down and placed her lizard on the ground. Archie gave Rynn his piece, and it was tucked between the other pages. The moment he opened his book, the lizard curled up in trembling behind Rynn. The girl closed the book. The screen on the back of the lizard turned red again. Everyone is surprised.
“What's the little fella?” Rynn twisted his body and gently raised the lizard in his palm.
“Faye,” Archie said as he cast a glance at Faye.
The girl moved both of her hands. “I didn't do anything.” His eyes widened as he felt something strange. He felt the flow of energy in the forest was chaotic. The flow of magic energy should have been surging like waves, but now the flow was disjointed and chaotic. Slowly it fades. "Please!"
