On the other side of the forest, the black armour clashed against each other causing a crackling sound that overcame the silence of the forest. His large arms exposed the thick branches of the tree. His heavy steps were followed by small steps behind him. Rynn's smaller body was hiding behind the Black Knight.
The man glanced back through his shoulder. “From the blue sound and light earlier, it looks like Faye and Archie have completed one.”
“K-giggler so.” His small, trembling voice departed with the voice of a great and gallant knight. The girl opened the brown book she was holding. His fingers trace word by word. “According to the book, this creature likes an area close to the water source.”
“Magic color is too small. Then river.”
On the road to the river, they found the trees collapsed. Its trunk was dented and torn apart like it was hit by an enormous force. The Black Knight also saw large footprints with a wide distance from each other. “This creature ran and hit whatever was in front of him,” muttered the knight who fumbled the trail on the ground.
The man got up and glanced back, he still saw Rynn hiding behind him. “If you are afraid, you can wait at home.”
“A-I'm not afraid, I stay with.” The girl insisted. “This is my fault anyway. I don't want to constantly overload Faye. I have to finish it, otherwise.” He lowered his head. His voice is getting slower. “I will be thrown away for the second time.”
The Black Knight twisted his body, he stroked the girl's head with his heavy, hard-edged pussy hands. “You're a good girl, Miss Faye won't throw you away.”
Rynn's eyes are shining. Although the knight was wearing a head protection covering his entire face, Rynn was like seeing the man's face smiling. “Thank you, Blackie.”
“Blackie?”
The girl nodded, “It's easier to call you that than the Black Knight.”
The Black Knight sighed. “I don't have a real name, but if you want to call me that, it doesn't matter to me.”
Together they continued down the bushes. The knight's armor rubbed against the sharp thorns and twigs of bushes. Rynn who was trailing behind was well protected by the knights.
A roar of stream flow sounded clear, the more they stepped forward. The moon reflects its light into the water of the river, which makes the river shine.
The knight's steps suddenly stopped. The girl's head was clashing with a hard black armor. “Aduh.” Rynn held her reddened forehead. He put his feet together, trying to see what was in front. “What's up?”
Its light flowed downwards, along with the river water being lifted up by something big from within the river. The longer it becomes clearer. His black head poked out of the water. The creature made its way onto land, revealing its huge horns growing on both sides of its skull. Its back is lined by a hard keratin layer that extends to form a shield-like shape.
“Quick navigate the page!” The knight's orders.
The giant bull-like creature snorted. He lowered his head and bowed his shoulders. His eyes continued to stare at the knight in front of him. The Black Knight and Rynn had entered his territory. The creature will do everything in its power to drive out the intruders who enter its territory.
Rynn flipped through the pages of the book in a panic. The girl forgot the page layout to seal the creature. The number of pages in the book was over 100, it would take a lot of time if it looked for them one by one.
“Rynn, the creature is coming!” exclaim that man.
However, Rynn was busy with his mistakes. He did not listen to the creature that was getting closer. His black horns that curved to the side immediately headed towards them.
The Black Knight grabbed Rynn and slammed to the side. They glided to the ground avoiding the impact. Rynn's body landed on the knight's arm.
“You search that page, I'll lure it.” The knight releases Rynn and gets up. He was eager to use his sword, yet he still could not master its power. Faye would be furious if the creature fared the same as a giant snake.
Because of its large body, the creature could not kick its path and continued to crashing until it hit a tree that immediately fell.
The Black Knight saw a giant rock on the left among the shrubs and weeds encircling the stone. He stood up to the rock. His feet stepped on the ivi leaves that grew around the stone. He clapped his hands, shouting snapping words to lure the creature to attack him.
The creature turned around and responded to the Black Knight's challenge with a snort. He wiggled his horns. His feet scavenged the ground preparing to attack. Then the creature ran, and pointed its horn forward.
When the time was right, the knight jumped to the side. The bull hit the rock very hard. His thump made the insects and birds wake up from their slumber and fly away. But unfortunately, the bull was stronger than the knights expected. The stone cracked and split into small pieces. His smaller cracks were bouncing everywhere.
Rynn, who sat on his heels, protected his head with his arms from the crack of the bouncing rock. The girl then managed to find the courtyard with the empty painting. However upon seeing the Black Knight was dealing with the creature. The girl's heart was broken. The brown book lay on his lap. Both of his hands were slumped to the side.
The girl recalled the words of the knight and the smile hidden behind her armor. He has to do something. He also promised Faye. The girl got up. He picked up a crack of rock nearby. As the Bull prepared to lash again at the knight, the girl threw a crack of stone right at the creature's head.
The creature turned its gaze to Rynn and ran towards him.
Rynn unfolds his book forward. The book shook, the sheets rattled. Magic energy shot out from the sheet accompanied by a blue light, and sucked the bull slowly. The wind blew fiercely, blowing away the leaves and hair of the girl. Rynn was powerless to hold back his energy boost for too long. The knight's hand slid behind him, and held the girl's shoulder. The blue light faded and the magic energy vanished. The creature was absorbed back into the book.
The girl closed the book. He sat down weakly while trying to catch his breath.
The Black Knight extended his hand. “We succeeded.”
Rynn's face was cheerful again. “This is all thanks to Blackie.” He took the man's hand.
“How about next?”
Rynn cleaned the dust off her clothes. Then he opened the book. “Just relax, I've folded the end of the page for the next animal.” Rynn's eyes were wide open. A memory appeared in his mind. “I remember. While at home, I saw a small lizard with a blue screen. It must be one of the creatures that came off.”
“Possibly the lizard is still around the house. Come back home,” take the knight.
