“You want to go to the training building?” Iscan blinked a few times while Leana put on a slightly hesitant expression.
As Forde now takes over the paperwork in the workspace, Leana who has completed the drafting of tasks and reports for Alphiella has no other job.
Vivy finally advises Leana to walk in the park to freshen up. Meanwhile Adde continues his training as a butler by helping Albert work.
“Iya. Mr Iscan must have known the rumors about me circulating, right? It is true that I was always in the room and only two months ago came out to work.” Obviously Leana.
Iscan looked at him with an innocent expression of confusion.
“If I may be honest, mistress. I'm not the kind of person who believes in rumors. I would believe if I saw with my own eyes.”
“But as I am a new member and know nothing, I can only trust what you allow. Of course I also make sure myself whether it is true or not.” Iscan added. Leana smiled faintly hearing that.
“You are a kind and simple person, Mr. Iscan.” Leana laughed a little.
“Do I in your eyes?” Iscan blushed in shame.
“At least that was my impression when I heard your words earlier. Just like you, I also do not fully know you and in the process of judging yourself.”
Iscan replied with a nod.
Starting from zero. Leana and Grandall judged each other from the beginning again. Leana fought hard to get their recognition and make amends for her mistakes in the past.
‘It feels like I'm playing a game and repeating save point.’ The sense of invisibility that crawled slowly made him confused in distinguishing the true reality.
When emptiness is what accompanies him in his two lives, then what welcomes him when he opens his eyes for the third time?
Leana or Riana. Who is he now. He doesn't know.
Until the pain comes to her again like a storm. It seemed like he would slowly sink into numbness.
“Mistress, we get to.”
Leana regained her senses and found the door of the training building right in front of her. The sound of swords clashing against each other rang out from behind the wooden door. Leana took a breath.
It's time!
“I will only see secretly, so there is no need to call.”
“I understand.”
Iscan slowly opened the door and guided her to the side of the building. Behind the shadow, he saw the Grandall warrior who was training enthusiastically. There are new members and there are also core members who are fighting against each other.
In the end Leana did not dare to walk in front of them, under the rays of light. Leana was still hiding looking at them, members of Grandall, from behind the shadows.
Eyes full of expectation, disappointment, anger, and the many expressions that kept pointing at him could not get out of his head.
Every time Leana remembers their eyes pointing at her, she begins to lose her sense of footing.
‘Leana strengthen yourself! Slowly! Do slowly!’
Leana reassured herself despite the cold sweat. His hands tightened their hooks every second of walking.
Iscan who felt a strangeness towards his master turned to Leana who was looking down and trembling slightly.
“Mistress? Are you okay sa—”
“LADY LEANA! YOU ARE HERE!?”
Opening her eyes, Leana immediately turned towards the loud voice from her right side. There a man with short reddish hair with his cat's eyes looked at him with surprise.
Behind him was another man with purplish brown hair with a calm expression, more precisely a little annoyed to his partner who had just said hard.
Because of the loud voice of the man or indeed Leana was too panicked so that time seemed to stop, the sound of the clash of swords that had become music in that place disappeared instantly.
“Si stupid! You're not polite to say aloud to Miss Grandall!” The purplish-haired man struck the fellow in front of him.
“Ugh! It hurts! Must be hit so hard?!” with a slight tear on the side of his eye, the man with reddish hair rubbed his head that had run out at the beat.
“Sorry for my sassness, Faunt senior. But it is true that you have been disrespectful to the mistress Grandall.” Iscan instantly stood in front of Leana and suppressed her voice.
The reddish-haired man named Faunt Terres looked back at his partner and junior in annoyance but he immediately shifted a little in order to see Leana's hidden figure and immediately bowed.
“Mrs Grandall, sorry for my sass! I'm ready to accept any punishment you give.” Faunt said firmly and sincerely.
While Leana was still frozen because of the sight before her, Iscan shifted and showed Leana the figure she was hiding.
Leana looked at Faunt with an expression of disbelief.
‘No, No, No! He's Faunt Terres! Faunt that Terres!!’
Faunt Terres was one of the four genius rogue warriors in Grandall's core army.
He was also one of the few soldiers to comment that he was disappointed with Leana for simply locking himself in the room.
As he divorced and married Duke Leon, Faunt was also the one who looked at him with a sick look and was very disappointed in him. That faunt!
But now, even though he was still with his independent attitude, in front of Leana now, he was a soldier who was able to admit his mistakes.
Not getting an answer from Leana, the three people around her looked at her in bewilderment. Even Faunt who was bowing slightly raised his head to look at Leana who was speechless.
“Mistress?”
Realized by Iscan's call and realizing that Faunt was waiting for her answer, Leana immediately reorganized herself.
“Ah, ekhm, it's okay, Mr. Faunt. I was also wrong for suddenly coming without warning.”
“Ah! Madam remembers my name!” with a radiant face, Faunt exclaimed out his thoughts honestly. His eyes glinted at Leana.
“FUNT!/SENIOR FAUNT!”
His partner and Iscan again scolded Faunt's frontal stance.
“Ah, forgive my sassness again.” Faunt said back to limp.
A little panicked, Leana immediately calmed the three.
“Already, already! We're both wrong so we'll take care of it. Mr. Faunt, raise your head. I've received your apology.”
“Thank you Madam! You are very kind and generous!”
Seeing how Faunt's positive attitude towards her made Leana feel strange but also relieved. He felt that the Faunt he knew and the Faunt before him were like two different people.
Instantly Leana felt the view from the direction of the training arena and found the soldier who was training was now sitting still staring at her. Their sight instantly made Leana freeze again.
He again felt panic from receiving the views of the Grandall warriors that emerged from his memory.
His head seemed to be spinning and he was like sinking slowly in the sand of life.
Leana was unable to reply to their views. Looks like he still can't stand Grandall's soldiers.
“FUNT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE! I HEARD THAT MRS GRANDALL CAME HERE! ARE YOU MAKING TROUBLE?!”
From across the building where the entrance was, the middle-aged man with silver hair exclaimed furiously towards them. The man was Grandall's deputy commander, Weiss Camelin.
The vice commander who always looked calm was now hitting his subordinates with anger on his face. It seemed like something bad happened between them before Leana's arrival.
“Welcome to fight, Faunt.”
“Sial you, Perciv! Can't help a little?!”
Faunt's colleague, Percival Zennet, patted his unfortunate colleague on the back as if sympathetic but he had no intention of helping him. When Weiss arrived, he immediately greeted Leana.
“Mrs Leana! Sorry for my delay. I did not get any news about your arrival, did nothing happen to you?”
At the end of his words, Weiss glanced sharply at Faunt. Percival and Iscan enthusiastically spoke up.
“Vice commander Weiss, senior Faunt has been disrespectful to mistress Leana.”
“Deputy commander Weiss, this fool Faunt exclaims loudly to mistress Grandall.”
“Oi! You two--!!”
“Faunt..”.
“Ugh..”
Weiss gives off a killing aura from behind him to Faunt but Leana immediately enters to hide Faunt from his superiors.
“No problem whatsoever, Mr. Weiss. Since I came over without any news, it seems that I startled Master Faunt. So here I am also wrong.”
Leana smiled and tried to convince Weiss with her explanation. Despite still being dissatisfied with his subordinates, Weiss decided to hold back.
“I understand. If it's your will then I can just follow it.”
Leana breathed a sigh of relief as well as Faunt behind her. But Weiss' gaze silently gestured sharply through his gaze to Faunt for him to come into his room that very day. Instantly Faunt pulled his sense of relief earlier.
“Mistress, do you have any business to come here?” Weiss again asked Leana with his hand hinting at the other soldiers in the arena to continue their training.
Hearing the question from Weiss, Leana again recalled her goal of coming to the training area building.
“My arrival here is actually just to greet the Grandall knight who just returned, especially I also heard that there are new members coming in.”
“So I thought to introduce myself also to them.” Leana added with a smile on her face.
Everyone around him looked at Leana stunned but after that their expressions turned soft.
“Then do I need to collect them?”
“Ah, no need! Looks like they're in serious training so I don't want to bother them.”
“No problem lady. They were given regular training to keep their abilities honed, but basically the core troops were in a period of rest after their return from the mission.”
Leana was determined to brave them and Weiss helped her to achieve her goals that day. But somehow Leana seemed to have the feeling to continue delaying it.
“Leana, I'm looking for you everywhere.”
Suddenly a familiar voice sounded behind Weiss. They all stared at the figure of Forde who had just entered the training area.
“Commander Forde.”
Those around Leana immediately paid their respects to Forde.
Forde approached Leana and pulled her to him. Take it out of the other man who is surrounding himself without him knowing.
Leana looked up at me
Forde. Their height difference sometimes irritates them.
“Forde, what's up? You looking for me?”
“True. I was planning to take you to lunch, but I couldn't find you anywhere. As I pass by here, I hear that Weiss is making a fuss.”
Forde looked at Weiss who was asked for an explanation by him. Weiss began to explain.
“It seems Faunt acted again by being disrespectful to the mistress.”
Forde immediately stared intently at Faunt whose face had turned deathly pale. Sweat drenched his face.
“No, commander! I'm just—"
“You still want to give a reason, Faunt?”
“It...”
Seeing the cornered Faunt, Leana immediately pulled on Forde's sleeve.
“Master faunt was just surprised because I came without notice. So it's also my fault.”
“You came and went here has become your authority. You're not wrong, Leana.”
“Forde!”
Leana pulled harder and she pouted at him. Forde flinched with a wedge on her cheek looking at Leana's demeanor.
Feeling a little annoyed that other people were also looking at him, Forde immediately resolved the problem that was there.
“Faunt.”
“Any commander!”
“Your workouts are tripled for the next two months.”
“B-Good, commander..”.
Faunt's face grew pale with the punishment he received but he could not resist it. Forde looked at Weiss.
“Weiss, please monitor him.”
Weiss replied “I understand, commander.”
“Leana, let's go soon.”
Forde pulled her hand and led her out but Leana stopped her for a moment. Leana turned her head towards Weiss who was looking at her confusedly.
“Wait a minute, Forde. Mr. Weiss.”
“Iya, mistress?”
“I am sorry for the commotion I made and I will greet again the knights at a later time.” Leana.
“I understand, mistress.”
During the second conversation, Weiss was able to feel the sharpness of the commander's gaze at him which was getting heavier and heavier but Weiss only accepted it in silence.
This was his first time seeing the commander in such a bad feeling just because of a short conversation.
Leana and Forde left the training area followed by Iscan behind them.
Seeing the strangeness of the commander he had never met before, Weiss promised himself to look after Grandall with all his soul.
