Finding Adde's

Arriving at Adreandel, Leana was greeted with the excitement of vendors and pedestrians in the city. Leana down the street followed by Iscan and Hardie.

He carefully observed each street, especially the small road that connects to the back area that cannot be seen from the main road.

Although she knew that this quest was not easy, it was complicated because Leana was not free to walk through each place especially when she was under the supervision of two knights who followed her.

‘What should I do?’ Leana's really in trouble.

While thinking of a plan to be able to browse through the back area, Leana entered one of the stores selling jewelry.

From the outside, Leana is like choosing a jewelry but her mind is somewhere else. Then his eyes looked at one of the cufflinks with pieces that never saw.

“Oh, does this one catch your attention?”

One of the shopkeepers came to him and took the cufflink to show Leana.

“Yes, the piece of the gem looks unique, as if the middle part is lit up in the dark.”

In addition to the unusual cut of the gem, one of the interesting factors is the color of the gem. Colors like a mixture of blue and green, feels very familiar in the eyes of Leana.

“You are absolutely right. For now the production of pieces like this is only for this item only.”

“Only for this item?”

“I was told that the cutter of this gem was a student of the jewel cutter who became a distributor in this store. He is currently working elsewhere in the city.”

Suddenly Leana had a brilliant idea.

“Do you know where the gem cutter pupil is?”

The shopkeeper looked a little confused but he replied.

“If you want to wait I will ask first to owner.”

“Good.” Leana nodded.

The shopkeeper immediately left Leana back in his mind.

Although he was completely amazed by the results of the product, meeting with the jewel cutter disciple was only the reason Leana made the opportunity to check the city area in addition to the shop and market area.

For this reason, Iscan and Hardie would not question Leana's visit to the city much more than for sightseeing and shopping.

“Sorry to have waited, miss! Owner said that the cutter pupil was working at his house which was not far from here.”

The shopkeeper added. “The place is about two blocks after turning to the right lane, If you find a lighted flower symbol then that's where it is.”

“Thank you for the information and please wrap this cufflink.”

Leana looked at Iscan and Hardie who were still on guard not far from the exit. Because it has long not felt the feel of being guarded by a bodyguard, it feels a little awkward.

After getting the item, Leana rushed out. While walking Leana explained her next journey.

“Next I will meet a jewel cutter, the place is two blocks from here after we turn right.”

“Gems cutter?” iscan asked looked confused.

Hardie who heard it realized something. “Wait, two blocks after turning to the right lane it is a rat road, there dangerous mistress!”

“You know that place Hardie?”

“A few days ago I was invited by others to drink at a bar and one of the shortcuts was through there.” Hardie Clear.

Iscan and Hardie began to exchange information and while Leana who was waiting for approval could only sigh tiredly. He couldn't spend his time arguing here.

“Look down, as long as there are you guys I should be able to stay safe. Especially if my hunch is right, maybe I can make a business.”

Despite using a convincing tone, the two still looked doubtful and worried. But Iscan answered.

“Alright, we will follow the word madam.”

“I will also try to lead you not to get lost!”

That way the three walked towards the place where the jewel-cutter disciple was. Leana plans to trick Iscan and Hardie a little if she can in order to explore each place further.

Tracing the narrowed path, Leana found three paths before her. Despite the many twists and turns throughout the eye, Leana can only follow the directions of the shopkeeper.

“If we go to the right and find the flower symbol—”

Leana suddenly bounced back after hitting something when she wanted to turn, fortunately Iscan immediately caught her body that almost fell down and Hardie immediately advanced forward.

“Mrs Leana!”

“Mistress, are you okay?!”

When around him was noisy worrying about him, in front of him there was a young man with shabby clothes and messy hair was sitting down. 

It seemed like the young man also bounced around when the two collided.

Leana looked at the young man carefully.

Red bronze hair and the same eye color, no longer wrong him…

“HEY! DON'T RUN AWAY!”

The young man in front of him gasped at the cry of someone and immediately checked back before immediately getting up again. Not far behind him, two grown men ran with sinister faces towards them.

“Anu, forgive me..!” said the young man shuffled.

But before she started running again, Leana pulled her wrist and held her back. Leana immediately pointed at the two men who were running towards them with their other hands.

“Master Iscan! Mr Hardie!”

“Good mistress!”

Along with Leana's exclamation, the two immediately stopped and tied the two men.He was relieved to see that the two men were no big deal to him.

Leana then looked back at the silent young man with a surprised expression mixed in confusion.

He blinked his gaze at Leana and the two men who were bound in turn.

“Are you okay, Adde?”

“I'm fine.... eh? Name..”

Leana just realized her mistake. In his heart he hit his head many times.

Leana frowned for a moment while Adde went back on guard with her. Before it was too late, Leana tried to calm him down.

“Eh? Help?”

“True once.” Leana nodded.

Adde relaxed his vigilance a little.

“Mistress, do you know the young man?”

Leana and Adde turned towards Iscan who was approaching the two. Behind Iscan, Hardie was keeping two unconscious men in a relaxed bind.

The scenery is not in accordance with their current condition but Leana ignored it.

“No, this is the first time we met. More than that.”.

Leana slightly shifted after turning her head towards Adde and Iscan was staring at something on Adde's neck. He realized that there was an object around his neck.

“This restraint... Is there a slavery organization in this city?!”

Iscan almost replied to his surprise. He tries to grab the restraint but Leana stops him.

“Do not open the restraint first, we still need the restraint in order to enter the savage organization.”

Iscan and Adde were shocked to hear Leana's words.

“Mrs..! Don't tell me you want to go there?! That's very dangerous!”

Hardie who had been perched on the wall immediately replied from behind Iscan who nodded in agreement.

Leana raised her hand and tried to convince the two but she returned in between.

“Do not mistress! This is too dangerous! We better just report—”

“Cannot. Reporting it will give them time to escape and I don't want that

happened.”

“…! How can you know..”.

The silent Adde spoke up at Leana's words. Both Adde and the two knights guarding him seemed to be troubled by Leana's decision and it made it difficult for her mind to work out words.

Adde seemed to realize that Leana knew that the slavery organization that kept her was no ordinary organization.

Leana knew it. Three years from now there will be a massive manhunt to eradicate slavery which became a public unrest due to kidnapping cases that spread to the upper class.

Leana sighed for the umpteenth time. He decided to take quick action.

“For now just follow me. Mr. Hardie, take the two men carefully to the security section and if they want to send help, please do not flash.”

“But mistress..!”

“Quiet, Mr. Iscan will come with us to that place and Adde will show you the way.”

Leana looked at Adde who widened her eyes while she only returned with a small smile.

“Sorry Adde, please get us there as soon as possible, I know we don't have much time. For this time please believe me at least, you want to save your friends, don't you?”

Adde looked doubtful but not for long he nodded. Seeing Adde's positive response, Leana then took out a piece of paper from her pocket and wrote down a few words before giving it to Hardie.

“Read this when you've secured them completely, got it? I will explain everything after this problem is finished.”

“I understand.” Giving up, Hardie took orders from her employer.

Leana looked back at Adde who started her steps to lead Leana and Iscan.

“Please follow me.”

“Mr Hardie, please clean up as soon as possible.”

“Good mistress.”

Leaving the final message, Leana parted ways with Hardie who took the two men with her.

On their way to the place of slavery, Leana begins to form an infiltration plan into the organization.

“Adde, is the path you used to escape known to the people of the organization?

“No. That road I found when accidentally moving things, so it should be safe to pass.”

“Then how did you find the two men?”

“I previously accidentally took the wrong direction of the road, because basically I moved places without knowing the conditions outside where I was stored.”

This means that the transfer of slaves from one place to another is done without the knowledge of the slaves themselves in order to make it difficult for them to escape.

If later they accidentally met with one of the guards of the organization, inevitably they had to ditch the infiltration plan and disguise as the one who wanted to buy slaves.

“Adde, please make sure we are not visible to them. If I could I wouldn't pretend to hand you back to them.”

Adde was a little worried about hearing Leana's statement but he nodded.

“I understand.”

Passing a few corners carefully, they finally reached the Adde escape route. A dead end filled with many boxes and some goods behind the cloth.

Behind the items there is a crack covered by a wooden board. The crack was big enough for someone to get through.

It seemed like the crack was hidden so well that no one but Adde noticed it.

“This is her entrance.”

“Alright, Mr. Iscan please help you keep watch here.”

“What?! I can't do that, I have to come with you!”

Iscan slightly exclaimed at Leana's statement which sounded a little cruel to him.

“I want you to keep our escape route. If besieged and unable to get out, this plan will fail.”

Iscan put on a sour face and felt worried. As Leana's bodyguard, even though it was an order, she could not leave her master alone to a dangerous place.

“Give us 30 minutes time, if we have not come out yet, you are allowed to follow.”

Though unsure, Iscan then nodded and bowed his head.

“I understand, please take good care of yourself.”

Iscan begins to stand guard behind the stacked boxes, monitoring the condition of the road that still looks empty and Leana with Adde enters the path to where the slavery organization is located.
