Celebration Party

By the time Leana reached the exit, Forde was already waiting for her there. When Leana realized that she had arrived, her eyes widened and her cheeks became reddish.  He froze in place until Leana got next to him.

Seeing that made his heart beat again and he could feel his face becoming hot.  Leana was embarrassed.

Forde reached out his hand and he took it. Her jade eyes continued to look at her gently until she seemed to see a reddish wedge on her husband's cheek.

His hand was pulled closer to Forde's lips and gently snorted.

“Leana, you are so beautiful in that dress.”

Leana tightened her grip and slightly lowered her head to cover her embarrassment. He didn't know how to look at Forde.

“Te, thank you. You are also handsome.”.

Leanassoon closed his face and turned his face away in embarrassment. Forde could see Leana's reddened ears and she laughed.

“Come, we go.”

Leana nodded and walked beside Forde who was herding her.

On his way out, he finds Iscan and Hardie standing not far from their carriage. Both of them wore the same uniform as the other soldiers who attended the celebration party.

“Mr Iscan, Mr Hardie!”

As they approached, the two bowed and greeted.

“Goodnight lady Leana, Mr. Forde.”

“Are you guys also coming to the party?”

“True. To celebrate our coronation as Grandall members, we were invited to join the celebration party.”

“Not only us, the new soldiers will also join in the celebration party!” Added Hardie

“Are you not gathered together with your colleagues?”

Leana just chuckled and Forde sighed.

“Bailklah, we should leave for the party right now. Get ready on your positions.”

The two immediately returned to their designated positions and as Forde and Leana entered the carriage, the entire Grandall army began to head for the imperial palace.

After the return of the Five Pillars in the labyrinth subjugation mission, the emperor would hold a celebratory feast to celebrate their success. He gave two months as a time of mourning before the feast could finally be celebrated.

Since the party is dedicated to the Five Pillars, the main guest in the party is the family of the Five Pillars. The party will last for five days.

The event used the largest imperial hall building capable of accommodating five thousand people inside so that the five pillars were able to carry almost their entire army.

In addition to the Five Pillars, there were several nobles invited to the party who were usually high-ranking nobles and also relatives of the Five Pillars.

As Leana descends the train, she and Forde walk in through a special door reserved for Five Pillar guests.

Upon entering one of the doors and walking in a long and magnificent hallway, they were asked to wait in front of a large door leading to the main hall.

Not long after, the entire Grandall army followed through the passageway and made a formation before entering the hall.

“Five Pillars of defense and protection of Solfilyan empire will enter the room!” An officer in the hall.

From behind the door he could hear the excitement of the guests slowly receding as if waiting for something.

Another imperial official came from behind and walked towards the door in front of them as if giving a warning.

“Marquis and Marchioness Grandall, we will soon open the hall door to you. Expect to prepare.”

The officer turned and knocked on the big door. Not long the door opened and enough light

it was dazzling to welcome them.

All the guests who were in the hall gave each other space and gathered close to the wall. With Forde's direction, Leana walked following him into the hall along with the other four pillars coming from different doors.

The five pillars entered the room with one step inside the hall and stopped. The five Pillars waited for their turn to enter the hall when their names were announced. Their names are called based on their class height.

“Pillar defense and protection, Black Cloak. Grand Duke Eclipse Volfelance and his army. Entering room!”

The Black Cloak Army as the name suggests wore black uniform clothing with a silver lining and a slight touch of gold. Except for the Grand Duke whose robes only covered part of his clothes, their troops wore black robes that covered almost their entire bodies.

The gazes of each troop looked flat and they gave off a mysterious aura that felt cold. It was as if they were not from the same world and were too dark to coexist.

For the first time in a long time Leana saw the figure of the Grand Duke since the war. He then glanced at the Black Cloak army behind him.

Knowing how the Grand Duke works, he suspects that the troops he carries are those who work on the surface while the shadow members just standby elsewhere.

“Pillars of defense and protection, Purple Chain. Marquis Forde Grandall and Marchioness Leana Grandall. Entering room!”

Forde and Leana walked into the room followed by Grandall's troops behind them. Their line coming from the right door of the main door slowly followed the line of Grand Duke Volfelance.

The Purple Chain Army walked confidently into the room. The combination of black and purple which exuded a dazzling aura as if trying to captivate the guests with its unique beauty, made their eyes unable to escape.

Leana stood beside Forde with their hands still interlocked and did not want to escape. This was the second big party he had followed after his debut party so he was a little nervous.

He slightly glanced at Forde who continued to focus on the emperor before them, not disturbed by the eyes that led towards him.

“Pillars of defense and protection, Red Spear. Margrave Hugo Santica and his army. Entering room!”

The Red Spear Army walked gallantly like a military force with high self-esteem. Red and orange with a touch of gold make them like a burning fire, as if symbolizing their ambition that will never be extinguished.

Each of their firm steps echoed within the room as if to show their strength to the others. Guests in the room were jolted and stunned by their bravery.

Other than the Grand Duke and Forde, Leana could not remember the figure of the leader from the other pillars. From his point of view, Margrave Santica had a fierce and resolute face that truly displayed the perfect emblem for the leader of the Red Spear.

“Pillars of defense and protection, White Wings. Count Clovis Vivaldi and Countess Sylvie Vivaldi with his army. Entering room!”

The white wing troops moved gracefully into the hall. White clothes with sky blue robes

fluttering during their walk made an illusion as if they were white doves flying beautifully.

Unlike the others, an aura of friendliness that was like a saint emanated from them and engendered a feeling of security within the guests. Their soft smiles seemed to be the rays of the eyes of a warm day when looked at.

Leana was amazed at how Count Vivaldi looked like a saint from the temple. Moreover he was finally able to see the Countess figure who looked older compared to Count Vivaldi yet he exuded the same gentle aura.

He had heard the love story of young master Vivaldi to a lady Sylvie who was full of obstacles in the past and seen their condition now, it seemed like the struggle of Count Vivaldi was paying off.

“Pillar defense and protection, Yellow Shield. Baron Rodion Zinesia and young master Justin Zinesia with his army. Entering room!”

Pasuka Yellow Shield entered the room confidently as if not to be outdone by the other troops. The alloy between yellow and silver made them seem to be the epitome of the light of hope brought behind them.

Their existence seemed to bring a bright light to a future covered by darkness. The guests seemed to want to open their voices and cheer them up.

Leana saw many differences from the Yellow Shield pillar to the other pillars. The Yellow Shield Pillar was filled with a proud smile on the faces of its troops, in contrast to the other pillars that used a dignified, calm, and confident expression with no smile on their faces.

Leana also saw that Baron Zenezia brought her only son who was the deputy commander to help her father.

Leana could not remember the other three pillar leaders but why she still remembered Justin Zinesia's figure clearly, she could not find the answer.

The moment the five pillars had fully entered the hall, the emperor's right hand advanced.

“Five Pillars, facing the emperor!”

The leaders of the pillars moved forward before the emperor to greet him by bowing their heads and placing their right hand on their left chest.

Leana, Countess Sylvie, and young master Justin gave the same greeting as the leader while the Five Pillars troops saluted the bowed body to the emperor.

“We all know that conquering the labyrinth is no easy feat, but you have bravely conquered the labyrinth that may pose a threat to mankind. With the success you bring, I will give you the reward you deserve for your great service. Good for those of you who managed to re-assemble and those who have fallen.” Added Emperor.

“Thank you, Your Majesty the Emperor.” Say the five pillars.

“It is an honor for us as the Five Pillars to be able to participate in safeguarding humanity from the various forms of collapse that exist in this world.” The Grand Duke and the emperor nodded.

“Because you have returned victorious, let us celebrate that victory and grow back your spirit and your depleted body. Let us celebrate today and tomorrow with a new spirit of opening a brilliant future!” Emperor.

The emperor raised both of his hands high as if giving blessings to everyone there.

“Solfilyan Empire will always pray for and give you the blessings of salvation and victory, O the protectors of Solfilyan empire.”

“Life Solfilyan!”

“Life Five Pillars!”

The cheers of the guests combed the room magnificently.

With the end of the emperor's speech, the feast began.
