At Wordlock's residence, Diana Wordlock, daughter of Baron Killian Wordlock's second wife, is frustrated.

Shortly after the events at the Palace, her engagement to Count Sevrus was annulled.

Count Sevrus reconsidered his engagement to Diana after hearing rumors circulating about Diana's actions to Leana at a celebratory party.

In addition, the invitation to drink tea sent to him was also reduced than usual. He also rarely met his friends since the party.

His mother sighed and gave a letter to Diana.

Leana once again praised herself. He did not expect to quickly adapt to sleep with Forde in just three days.

When he realized the morning sun had welcomed him. Both literally and figuratively.

She did not know to be happy or upset because of her heart every time she had to race above average because she saw her husband's face.

Leana was never a fan of anything but when she felt what they felt, she just wanted to hug them while crying happily.

Husband's handsome. It knows. But his good looks were above average and made him unable to calm down every time he had to stick with him.

Especially this morning when her husband who was neatly wearing a full uniform continued to hold his hand with his eyes clear.

It had been 20 minutes but Forde did not take his hand off. He even felt uneasy about the vice commander Weiss who kept waiting for his commander at the doorstep of the mansion.

As Forde sadly separated from her, Leana smiled.

“Force. If you don't leave soon, I'll forbid you to sleep with me for five days.”

Forde immediately turned pale and turned towards Weiss. The jolted Weiss then fixed himself.

“Ekhm, then commander, I will wait for you outside.” Weiss said and left.

Forde looked back at Leana sadly but Leana's smile did not fade and slowly pressed her to leave.

Forde took Leana's hand and kissed her finger.

“I'll be back soon.”

Leana softened her smile and touched Forde's cheeks and earrings.

“Be careful and come back to me safely."

Forde hugged Leana one last time and then left with his troops to the border.

Leana was a little happy to see Forde's cute demeanor but she was also troubled if she troubled others.

He took the documents that Adde had just sent to him and observed the contents.

“This is what Mr Eclipse meant?”

The documents in his hands were dirty data carried out by Grandall's subordinates who were overseeing some specific areas. They were puppets sent by nobles who tried to control Grandall.

Money laundering, corruption, tax diversion, and much more.

Had Forde not stopped them from being indebted to the nobleman or did he not know. Whatever the reason he already had enough evidence to cut the dirty thread bound by Grandall.

Knowing the nature of the Grand Duke, he certainly did not want to interfere with other people's problems despite having information or indeed he had not recognized the value of Grandall to not want to interfere.

“Excuse me, mistress Leana.”

Albert emerged from behind the door of the study. Leana put the documents.

“What's up, Albert?”

“There are guests for you.”

Leana doesn't remember inviting anyone or being told that someone is coming to Grandall.

“Diana Wordlock come to meet you.”

Leana's frozen. He more or less knew what Diana or her stepmother wanted and he was fed up with them.

Leana breathed a heavy sigh. He did not want to meet Diana because he knew for sure her arrival did not bring good things.

He reluctantly got up and walked towards the living room. With Leana's orders, Iscan waited in front of the living room.

As she opened the door of the living room, Diana was sitting with her arrogant face on.

“Leana! Long time no see!” Greet Diana sweetly.

Leana put on a flat face to him and immediately sat down opposite him.

“Why did you come without sending a notification? You know that's rude, right?” leana said coldly.

Diana's smile twitched slightly and she became annoyed with Leana's attitude. He tried to maintain his patience by drinking the tea provided.

“Come on, we're family!”

“Ha..”

Leana did not think. What kind of circumstances made him able to say that Leana was his family. In fact, she knew that Diana was not willing to let Leana set foot in the Wordlock residence.

To an uninvited newcomer, his words were quite arrogant.

“So what business are you doing here?”

Diana looked at him unhappily but she still smiled and threw a letter in front of her.

“You know? Mom is in need of money for her efforts and if I may also want to ask for my part that way I will forgive you.”

Diana glared at him. It seems he was really upset.

Diana clenched her teeth. Her hand was already itching to slap Leana's cheek.

“Looks like the longer you're going. Aren't you aware of your position, Leana Wordlock!”

Leana looked at Diana sharply.

“A woman who just shut herself in the room and can't get into the social world! Women who are only useful as other people's wives!”

Leana was silent and quietly listening to Diana's chatter.

“Your position as Marchioness just doesn't suit you. You should be grateful to the father who fought to make you more useful.”

Diana smiled seeing Leana speechless. Leana was all she knew, too afraid to reply back to someone's words and it would never change.

“Haaa... well, I've decided.”

Leana leaned her head on her right hand and looked at Diana with disgust.

“Tell Baroness Rose that I won't give her a single penny, nor will you. Now lift your foot from here and never come back.” Leana.

“What! Basic don't know yourself-!” Leana immediately interrupted Diana's words.

“For someone who lacks ethics and tries to humiliate me at the celebration party, your words are too high above the sky.” Leana.

“If you forgot, now I'm not Leana Wordlock but Leana Grandall. So the one who should realize his position is you who are not even a nobody yet.” Add it with cold.

Diana who was already unable to contain her irritation immediately rose up violently and picked up Leana's cup then spilled onto him.

Leana quickly blocked the tea that would hit her face with her hands.

Iscan who heard the commotion immediately entered violently into the room.

Diana who was still holding the cup slightly smiled with satisfaction but her smile disappeared when she saw Leana who was fine.

Iscan who saw the condition of his master immediately stared intently at the jolted Diana.

Leana immediately stopped him and walked towards a nearby vase of flowers. He too

spilled the contents of the vase onto Diana's head.

“Now we break even.”

Diana's face flushed red and she immediately rose from her place.

“I'll report all this to dad and mom!”

“Please. I have no problem.”

Leana smiled triumphantly while Diana returned home to Wordlock in embarrassment.

He felt satisfied that he had successfully fought Diana for the second time.

Leana looked out the window and realized one of her shadows was watching her from the tree before disappearing.

He just snorted and went back to the room to clean himself up.

Five days later when Forde returns, Leana realizes that her husband has gotten word of Diana's arrival to Grandall and her jade eyes are emitting a light that can kill someone.

While confining Leana in his arms, Forde makes a ban for the Wordlock family to come to Grandall and gives them the threat to sever the connection between the two.

For the umpteenth time, she was grateful to have a husband like Forde and she was sure that no one would be able to replace her.
