When Forde opened his eyes, he was in a different place than before. There were no other Pillar existences except the Purple Chain.
The place they were in right now was a very spacious room, just like the room of the labyrinth system was enough to hold the Five Pillars simultaneously. Half the space is larger than that room
Forde prepared his weapons, as did his army.
They created a Formation to fill each section until there was nothing they could miss.
Iscan who felt a bad feeling immediately held onto his wrist. Behind her uniform is an Adde-given bracelet that can summon Alphiella's shadow immediately to their place.
But Iscan doesn't know if he should call them immediately or not. He continued to unsettle his choices until something finally appeared in that place.
Grutuk…
Purple Chain turned towards the direction the voice came from.
From behind the darkest part of the room, what appeared first was a huge wolf-like leg. Slowly both pairs of red and purple colored light appeared not far above him.
Forde reflex pulled out one of his axes and threw it towards the figure. Along with the axe hitting something on his head, the monster figure immediately came out running towards them.
“DISTRIBUTED!” Forde.
He dashed towards his axe that bounced while the Purple Chain tried to dodge the attack from the monster.
When Forde managed to take back his axe, a loud bang was heard several times from a distance along with a tremor on the ground.
Opposite him, the Purple Chain army was attacked by something like the tail of the monster. The tail looks like the tendril of a plant with a silver taper tip. The thickness is large enough to match the body portion of the monster that also has a giant form.
The monster pulled its tail and began to turn to face them. He looked as if he was looking for a suitable prey for him.
Forde immediately checked the condition of his troops.
“You guys are okay?!”
“Commander! We alright–UWAAH!!”
The monster again swung its two tails and made several Purple Chain troops crash backwards until it hit the wall hard.
As the Monster watched his victims, Forde immediately darted towards him and swung his sword and axe.
Forde who was close enough to the monster tried to slash his leg, but the monster's scream stopped his movement.
KYAUONG!!
“Ugh–!”
Forde immediately closed both ears and he who was late to react to the monster attack was thrown backwards.
Before being able to hit the wall, Forde firmly planted his sword to reduce the throwing force on his body and stopped before reaching the wall.
Forde took a breath and tried to stabilize his condition, he stood up and pulled out his sword. He looked back at the monster who was giving up his army.
Seeing his army that was in trouble with a series of attacks from the monster, Forde went up. He made a resolution to kill the monster before it fell.
“Commander!”
Weiss ran up to him already in a state full of blood.
“Commander, are you okay?!”
“I'm fine, so focus on the monster and just think of yourself. Don't let anyone dare stop me from killing that damn monster.”
Weiss strengthened the grip on his sword as he felt the killing aura Forde was emitting. With a bit of fret he turned towards their enemy.
“I understand. Good luck to you!”
Weiss returned to the Purple Chain army and managed to fend off some of the monster attacks.
Forde took a breath and stared intently at his enemy. With both weapons in his grasp, he took a position to immediately dart towards him.
As he took off, Forde went towards one of the tails. He stabbed the tail into the floor forcefully using his sword and slashed it with his axe.
In one slash, he managed to cut off one of the monsters.
As the monster roared violently, Forde pulled and threw out the blood that covered his sword.
He looked at the team behind him.
"How are you guys doing?"
"We're fine thanks to the commander!"
"Then don't just shut up and quickly help others. I'll withstand the attack from the monster's hands."
"READY COMMANDER!"
Forde turned his eyes back to the monster. His eyes swam to the other soldiers and he saw Weiss protecting the army that was fighting one of the tails was marked by an attack from the monster's hand.
He immediately darted and managed to resist the monster's attack before touching Weiss' sword.
"Commander!"
"Help the others, I'll hold him."
Weiss nodded and immediately went to where the troops were fighting the tail.
Not long after he heard a loud noise and found the troops with Iscan inside had managed to cut off the other tail.
Iscan who took a breath after finishing the fight also searched for the position of his commander.
He caught Forde who was distracting the main body of the monster to him so that the Purple Chain troops could focus on defeating the tail.
The remaining tail is three. Iscan thought of helping his companion immediately but he remembered his mission and turned to look at Forde anxiously.
He was again covered with worry. Judging from anywhere, the current Forde can still balance the monster before him.
But knowing what would happen to his commander, he became restless.
Type Iscan decided to help his partner, a blue light and not long bang along with the vibrations coming from the direction of Forde. He saw how his commander was enveloped by thick smoke.
Immediately Iscan became panicked.
"Commander!"
Iscan and Weiss cried out simultaneously and prepared to go to their commander.
Forde immediately raised his hand to stop the two without turning his head and continued his attack on the monster.
The immobile Iscan immediately grabbed the bracelet on his wrist, but he remained silent as if petrified.
Right now they are not being helped by witches so they will be in trouble when fighting monsters with magic elements.
The only one who can defeat the monster is its commander, who uses a magic weapon namely his axe.
He also wore a coat that was laced with defensive magic, so his commander was able to withstand several attacks from the monster. Iscan should be able to put his trust in the commander who is full of protective magic.
With a heavy heart, Iscan went towards his partner. Carrying a sense of anger and a hint of regret, he attacked the tail a little blindly like a frustrated person.
His actions were enough to surprise his partner.
Iscan who didn't have much time wanted to immediately finish the tail and go help his commander.
The thought continued to spin as if trying to make a suggestion.
Not long after, the tail he fought was defeated. Without taking time to breathe, he immediately darted towards the other tail. Leaving his comrade with a feeling of amazement and surprise.
The Iscan quickly attacks the other tail more than anyone else. Faunt and Percival were taken aback by his junior's actions.
The second tail is almost broken. Iscan who swung his hand high to give the final strike instantly came to a halt.
At the end of his eyes, he caught the figure of Forde being pushed back. Unlike before, the commander looked troubled in resisting the monster's attack.
He even realized that now Forde was filled with many wounds on his body.
As Forde resisted one attack from the monster, a second attack came shooting out from the other direction.
After giving one last strike to the tail before him, Iscan ran as fast as he could towards Forde.
“COMMANDAN!”
Iscan tries to reach Forde but they are far enough away to get to the place.
His outstretched hand would not be up to withstand the attack from the monster.
It was at that moment that his eyes caught the bracelet that was previously hidden behind his uniform now drifting out and instantly emitted a blinding white light.
In that moment…
LAZY!
Iscan and Forde widened their eyes.
In front of them, the figure of a man in all black clothes and a white mask was blocking the attack from the monster.
The man held it in and managed to blow it a little, enough to make some distance and give them time to breathe.
“You..”.
Forde stared at their uninvited guests sharply.
The man only faced Forde in silence. Iscan quickly moved to the side of Forde.
"Commander–"
“Silence. Don't say anything.”
Iscan closed his mouth tightly. He looked at Dean with his white mask facing Forde.
Forde looked at them with great caution.
"Who are you?" Speak with weight.
"The "Marquis Forde Grandall. We are not your enemy. We were sent here to help you." Her speech.
"We?"
"really. I came here not alone."
A second shadow appeared behind Dean.
"I'm sorry for my stupidity, but I'll explain everything after our business here is done."
The two turned to the monster who was staring back at them furiously. The tail behind him was only one left and the middle stopped attacking the Purple Chain army. Give them time to rest a little.
"I still don't fully trust you guys."
"I understand that."
"But it looks like we need your help to conquer this thing."
Forde stuck his sword on the floor and pulled out another axe from his crystal earrings.
Dean also gave another shadow gesture to take their position. Instantly they spread out and mingled with the Purple Chain.
Dean pulled out a roll of paper and threw it towards Iscan. When he opened it, there were several magic circles with various elements.
"Use that on your gun."
Iscan nodded and wrapped the scroll around his sword. Before long, the scroll glowed and disappeared. A symbol appeared on his sword.
Dean walked forward with Forde towards the monster who was preparing to launch a new attack.
He jumped up while Forde continued to move forward.
When the monster prepared its attack, Dean hit the monster hard and hit the floor.
Bracketed
Dean turned towards the source of the voice. But before being able to confirm it, Forde who did not want to miss the opportunity was ready to launch his attack.
Dean immediately dodged and when Forde's axe briefly touched the monster's head, it was blocked by the tail and bounced backwards.
Quickly, the Iscan appeared and attacked the tail. But as expected, this time the tail felt much harder to beat compared to before.
Veil immediately pulled out the thread and fastened the tail tightly.
The monster had thrashed to release its tail, but to no avail.
The purple chain immediately attacked the bound tail and cut it off from the monster.
The monster then jumped to keep its distance from them and prepared another attack.
The shadow of Alphiella immediately stopped him and managed to push the monster down.
Purple chains and shadows attacked him again but the monster quickly twisted its body and slammed its enemy far away.
The monster roared and attacked again. He ran towards Forde and Dean but was stopped by the thread Veil had placed.
As the shadow attacked, the monster used all its strength to break free and managed to dodge.
Then the monster gave off a huge aura that made his opponent's body seem to be heavy.
Both the Purple Chain and the shadow were as strong as defending themselves to be able to stand.
Dean himself was also a little troubled to move and a little worried that he could not avoid the monster's next attack.
Dean looked over and found Forde looking ordinary. Stand calm like no other.
With both axes tightly held, his eyes continued to stare at the monster as if analyzing it.
The monsters came back to them. Dean who felt his body getting heavier was unable to move.
Instantly he remembered something.
"Horns! Attack it there!" Dean Excited.
Forde hurriedly directed his attack at the monster's horn. With all his strength, he swung his axe and managed to cut the crystal horn off his head.
The monster stopped and dropped to the floor, motionless.
The purple chains and shadows carefully examined the monster before finally declaring that they had defeated it.
Forde put his axes back together and he turned to Dean who was standing still not far from him.
The atmosphere instantly returned serious and cold.
"It's all over now, how about you explain everything?"
