This Time, To The Believed Path

This Time, To The Believed Path
The Grand Meeting

August 7 Imperial year 23XX

International meeting day has arrived.

After 10 years, a large meeting involving the entire country participating in overcoming the magic labyrinth was held again.

Meetings will only be held to make decisions with the consent of the inhabitants of the world.

The first time it was held was to discuss how the world could cope with the phenomenon of the magic labyrinth appearing in the world to the maximum.

Basically many countries are not too eager to follow the big meeting as they have their own power to fight the magic labyrinth.

However, due to the revelation of the existence of the magical labyrinth guards that they never realized, the world was shaken and they had no choice but to agree to the proposal to reopen the great meeting.

The Solfilyan Empire that had ties to the contractors of the magic labyrinth guards hosted the grand meeting.

At first many did not agree to this but because of the existence of contractors residing in the empire, they could not do anything.

The meeting held in the grand hall which was the second largest hall in the Solfilyan empire was no less majestic than the first great hall.

The interior is not too exaggerated but does not degrade from the Solfilyan empire as if making an impression that symbolizes policy.

"His Majesty Emperor Rugold Wessatein Solfilyan and Marchioness Leana Grandall entered the grand hall!"

Leana stood near the Emperor as she was about to enter the hall and enter with him.

His eyes swam to the meeting participants without deciding on his focus.

At the long table there were many higher-ups and delegates as well as the leader of the five pillars.

Not far behind them was the trusted right or left hand of the participants and a witness to this great meeting.

The eyes that were still paying attention to the surroundings met her husband for a moment. Their expressions did not change but the two seemed to understand the message conveyed to each other. Slowly he slightly widened the confident smile on his face.

The emperor sat on his throne and Leana stood not far beside him. At the same time, the participants of the meeting sat in their seats.

"Honorary attendees of the great meeting. I would like to thank you for agreeing to your proposed opening and attendance at this meeting."

The emperor began his opening speech.

Meanwhile, Leana who resumed her observation of the participants began to understand the order of their placement.

From the closest right order there were five pillars that came from the empire, then there was the holy city that was in a neutral position, then there was the alliance country.

Then on the left there are countries with a special rank to countries that want to participate.

Then the one sitting at the end of the long table was the magic association, the sorcerer from the magic tower.

"Therefore with this let's begin a great meeting this time which will discuss the handling of the five magic labyrinths that will appear."

The higher-ups who knew the topic of their conversation just sat quietly waiting for their discussion to begin, but those who did not know it started to open their voices and had a small discussion between them.

With the end of the speech, Leana prepared herself.

"All right, then let's just get started. I'm pleased, Marchioness."

Leana nodded. He walked forward and stopped not far from the table.

He stretched out his hand and called out his name.

"Telsia."

A greenish-yellow light appeared along with the wind blowing fiercely spinning rapidly beside Leana.

As the wind slowly subsided, a magic mirror appeared and Telsia came with her real body. As usual, Crocelia was in her arms.

His appearance left everyone in the room stunned to the point of being speechless.

Even Leana did not expect the magician to be stunned to see Telsia.

"I introduce to you, the keeper of the magic labyrinth, Telsia."

Telsia slowly opened her eyes and the two manics seemed to greet them.

He stood still as usual and was not affected by the sight of the humans who ranked among them.

"Excuse me, Your Majesty, but before this meeting begins, our side would like to ask the magic labyrinth guards."

All turned their eyes to the holy city. The priest held out his hand high enough that everyone could see him.

He could see the dislike of others who thought that the holy city was wasting their time.

Leana looked at them as if she had been waiting for this to happen.

Of course the holy city party would definitely start questioning the figure of the magic labyrinth guard.

The magic labyrinth that they might have already considered an incarnation of the devil and such negative things.

As the fact that the magic labyrinth was indeed true only brought bad news in this world, he could only remain silent.

The Emperor glanced towards the two. Telsia simply closed her eyes and Leana nodded her head in agreement.

The emperor returned to the priest and gave his answer.

"You're allowed."

A smile or perhaps a grin was painted on the priest's face. He looked at Telsia and Leana with an unpleasant gaze.

Both of them did not like anything that would happen after but they had no choice but to follow the rules of the big meeting as promised.

The priest got up from his place and raised his voice and extended his hand high to attract the surrounding attention.

"This may be a slightly contradictory topic to what you want to talk about, but 'we' just want to be sure."

Seeing how the other priests had not stopped his actions, it seemed like they had the same thoughts as him.

Even Saintess just closed her eyes and did not stop her.

The figure of Saintess whose true face was unknown. This is the moment that will be the determinant for him to judge.

Leana glanced at Telsia who remained calm.

Leana who handed the decision replied to Telsia so she planned to stay in the line that had been set for her.

"Is this about me?"

To his surprise, Telsia opened her mouth first. Even before the priest brought up the topic.

"really so. What a sharp hunch you."

Leana could hear a small ruckus from him due to the quiet condition of the room.

The silence was made out of curiosity and was also their all way to draw out the needed information.

Cunning, sure, but Leana already predicted it.

"What do you want to make sure?"

The grin possessed by the priest reminded Leana of someone.

"You're the keeper of the magic labyrinth, aren't you? As a guard, isn't it your job to keep an eye on the magic labyrinth? Why did you let the magic labyrinth mess up this world?"

From his words alone everyone knew that the priest was trying to unearth the error of Telsia. Trying to drop his position.

No. gabe. Since the beginning of the figure of Telsia who is the guardian of the labyrinth has been questioned since the beginning.

Leana glanced at Telsia worriedly but what she stared at was only calm and not disturbed at all.

Seeing his reaction, the smile on the priest's face slightly disappeared. Leana grunted softly with her amateur acting.

"As the keeper of the magic labyrinth, I only follow the will of the magic labyrinth. The actions, attitudes, feelings, all of them are under the will of the magic labyrinth and I can't carelessly make an action."

"So you just look at it and do nothing when the magic labyrinth trample this world?"

The supervisors became a waste while those at the table remained silent.

"Then is your action in making the Marchioness Grandall as a contractor also the will of the magic labyrinth?"

Leana heard a voice near her husband but she could not take off her eyes which stared intently at the priest.

"It wasn't like that at first. But then, this was also his will."

"What do you mean? So which one is right?"

Telsia pointed her hand at Leana as if presenting it to them.

Leana had been a squeak for a moment.

"At first all the same, there was no action until the point of world destruction but then the Marchioness was given a second sentence."

Leana widened her eyes.

They did plan to share the story in the first life, but wasn't it too soon now??

"What does second chance mean? Didn't the Marchioness have a 'sight'?"

"The vision you are referring to is not just a peek into the future. What the Marchioness knew had already happened and now she was standing in both places."

Leana frowned with Telsia's spinning words. But that way, he did not need to fully give them a clean answer.

'If they want to know the truth, then look for yourself' is what Telsia is doing now.

"You mean the world-"

"I used the power of the magic labyrinth to move the Marchioness' soul into the world with the time before the destruction arrived."

The room was filled with many sounds.

"Of course if it wasn't for the will of the labyrinth, it wouldn't have been possible."

Telsia's advanced words were drowned in many voices.

Forde and Eclipse who already knew the story remained calm in the crowded hall. Enough to make his partner wonder about their attitude.

The Emperor immediately knocked on his staff and stopped their voices.

Leana frowned as the priest licked his lips happily, as if he had obtained the opportunity he had in the future. So disgusting.

"Move the soul into another world. Power that passes through time and space. What do you mean, you're declaring that you're a god?" he said with a loud tone.

The priest who seemed to be fooling himself turned out to be a very sharp and clever person.

"I am not a god because I am also a creature created by the creator. So is the labyrinth."

The expression on Leana's face turned stiff.

'Can the labyrinth guard talk like that?' Although it was a fact, but Telsia who followed the will of the magic labyrinth should not be able to speak representing the will of the magic labyrinth itself.

Leana began to re-measure the will percentage of the magic labyrinth in helping her.

Of course with the establishment of Telsia beside him is already a strong proof of the labyrinth's approval. But it should not be up to Telsia to represent the will of the magic labyrinth.

But if Telsia feels no problem with the statement she issued, it means that the magic labyrinth has approved the actions of the guard.

"Like how Saintess executes the creator's orders, I'm just running the will of the magic labyrinth."

Simple and reasonable answer. What else is needed besides that?

"Just shut up and see the world crumble! What kind of will-"

"Even Saintess could not save the world alone. As his duty is only to convey grace and give a little miracle." cut Telsia.

Saintess opened her eyes and smiled sweetly at them. So sweet, he wishes he had sunglasses now.

"Don't joke! Saintess is the perfect figure sent by the creator!"

"Saintess is also human. Man who has faults with little mercy. And that grace must be best used."

The priest's face turned red with rage. His hands clenched tightly until his veins seemed to be gushing out.

Telsia's words had only become a fact that could not be avoided anymore but the priest continued his words.

"How dare--!! HOW DARE YOU-!!"

"Mr. Dough."

The priest came to a halt upon hearing the heavy tone from Saintess. He worriedly looked at Saintess.

"That's enough, let's stop this."

"But Saintess! He has smeared the creator-"

"Right now your actions are what taint us, pastor Dough."

The priest froze. He was bluffing his teeth and the pulse on his head as if it was about to break.

Unwillingly he sat back in his chair.

Saintess rose from her seat and looked at the Emperor.

"We're done with our part so please resume this great meeting."

He then looked towards Telsia and Leana was then slightly bowed.

"I also apologize for our disrespect for you, guardian of the magic labyrinth."

This made everyone surprised. Especially the priests who immediately tried to stop his actions.

"Saintess!!"

"Saintances!! You don't have to bend at-"

Saintess paid them no heed and just quietly waited for a reply from Telsia.

Telsia did not immediately reply and looked at the figure of Saintess who was seriously apologizing to him.

Leana glanced at Telsia to immediately resolve the matter.

"No problem. I hope something like this doesn't happen in the future."

"You-you!! How dare---!!!"

"Mr Dough!"

The priest shrieked with the gaze given by Saintess. His pastor friend also began to look at him with annoyance because of this and he fell silent.

Leana was relieved that the problem with the holy city had finally passed. He glanced at Telsia and whispered.

"You know that you just made a statement as if Saintess wasn't special? You plan on taking down the holy city and making enemies?"

"I just want to open their windows that seem to be tightly closed to their own interpretation without seeing the original meaning. Saintess also agrees with me."

Is correct. In his expectation, Saintess gave a positive reaction to Telsia, as if agreeing with her statement.

They never met but that worldly statement was enough to attract the two.

"Even the saints do not have a life full of flowers."

The passing words gave him a hammer to make a decision.

In the end, the 'look deeper' principle is the right decision.

After the hall regained its composure, Leana turned to the Emperor and gestured him to continue.

"Well, if there are no more questions to be asked. Let's continue this meeting."
