Chapter 9's

Crys sat on her bed restlessly. What's he supposed to do? His brother must be looking for him everywhere. Crys should be able to get out of this place as soon as possible.

The door opened, revealing the figure of the female servant again with the trolley she was pushing. Crys stood alert with a restless heart.

"Please have your breakfast Miss." she said. Crys glanced at the food tray placed on the nightstand.

"Where is he? I want to meet him." Crys said after gathering his courage.

"Who does Miss mean?" tanyakanya.

"That guy. The man with the tattoo on his right neck, just below the ear" Crys said.

"You mean Mr. Duanovic. Master will come if he wants Miss." said the maid. Crys frowned confusedly. Whatdoes thatmean?

"Please enjoy your breakfast" he said before leaving the room.

Cry stood still. His eyes stared at the food. Will he die after eating it? Is there poison in it? Yes, he won't eat it.

Crys sat back on the bed in silence. Right, he didn't touch the food at all. An hour later, the waiter came in to pick up the tray and was surprised to see the food that was not touched at all.

The waiter just quietly brought the whole food out of the room. The empty one was only drinking water available in the glass and fortunately he was still fine now.

Kenzo stepped up with his already neat appearance. The female servant approached Kenzo with her head lowered and followed the man's quick steps.

"Master, the breakfast I delivered was not touched at all. Miss just drank water." said the waiter.

Kenzo stopped walking, then looked at the servant. "Let it go if he doesn't want to eat" said Kenzo coldly, then continued his steps with a flat, uncaring look.

The waiter could only bow quietly not knowing what to do.

On other side.

"I did drive her to the bar where she worked last night" Lily said with a worried face. Allaric—kak Crys stood in front of Lily with a panicked face.

"I was planning to pick her up, but she didn't pick up my call at all. I came to his workplace and his co-worker said Crys was nowhere to be seen. His stuff is also not in his locker at all." said Aric at length with a worried look. Crys disappeared last night. He looked everywhere for his sister, to his current campus.

"Sister, we better call the police" Lily said. Aric nodded while rubbing his tired face. Since last night, Aric has been searching around town, hoping to find his sister.

"Thank you." said Aric with a faint smile. Lily nodded no problem.

BRACKET.

The door to Kenzo's room was smashed violently by a handsome man. The man entered with a reddened face. Who else if not Ansell.

Ansell throws a sheet of paper in front of Kenzo. "Look! News of the missing girl's disappearance has been spread. The police are looking for him." Ansell said.

"Just shut their mouths." said Kenzo, not bothering. Kenzo doesn't even glance at all and is still focused on his macbook. Ansell was restoring her hair in frustration.

"Why are you holding him back? I told you to just kill him and the matter is over" Ansell said furiously with Kenzo's stubbornness.

"There's a time." said Kenzo again so flatly. Truly a stone man and an ice man.

"I investigated. She's the girl from the family, isn't she?" asked Ansell who managed to make Kenzo raise his head to look at Ansell. Ansell managed to lure him.

"Why? Is it because she comes from that family that you're holding her back?" ask Ansell again. Kenzo stared at the sharp Ansell with a hostile face

"Don't interfere!" said Kenzo flat, then looked back at his macbook.

"Remember Davin's words? Don't play with fire if you don't want to burn" Ansell warned, then just step out of Kenzo's room. Leaving the silent figure of Kenzo in his seat.

Kenzo stood up and picked up his cigarette as he stepped towards the balcony of his room. Choosing to smoke when his own brain makes him angry and restless.

The ringing of a cell phone resuscitated Kenzo. Kenzo grabbed the phone in his suit pocket, then picked it up without bothering to see who was calling.

"Hello Mr. Miss didn't touch her lunch. He hasn't touched any food since he got home. He only drinks water in a glass. What should I do, sir?" Kenzo massaged his dizzy temple after hearing it. That woman keeps Kenzo at war with himself.

"I'll be home soon." said Kenzo, then closed the call unilaterally.

Kenzo threw away his cigarette butts, pressing him hard to get them to die. Kenzo tidied up his suit and stepped out of his room with a flat face.
