Desmond laughed again. "Now, do you realize who you've been dealing with? After I kill him, you can kill me, Levin." Desmond.

"Go to hell!" whispered Desmond preparing to pull the trigger with his index finger.

Crystal's heart was beating so fast with her eyelids closed so tightly. When the sound of the gunfire was released, he was preparing to die.

Is death really that bad?

He did not feel anything that made his body in pain, he did not even feel any foreign object that penetrated his body. Or did death come too soon, so he didn't have to feel the pain for too long?

A few seconds after the gunshot was released, it was deafening, sounding like something was falling on the floor.

Crystal flinched, as she could feel the object afflicting her body.

Other shots began to follow, along with the sounds of objects that also fell to the floor. Crystal quickly opened her eyes, then looked at the surrounding state with a look of panic and shock.

Crystal finally realized, the thing that hit his body turned out to be Desmond's heavy and stiff body. The man's eyes seemed to be tightly shut with blood seeping from his head.

"Egh." Crystal moaned at the feeling of how heavy Desmond's body was on top of his. He tried to push the lifeless body away from him.

Crystal, who seemed to be struggling with all her might to push Desmond's body, suddenly fell silent as a familiar helping hand pushed Desmond's body away from his upper body.

Crystal's bead of eyes stared at Levin's figure, who was now in front of him, throwing Desmond's lifeless body carelessly on the floor.

The woman's lips instantly shook, still unable to open her mouth after what she had gone through.

Levin crouched down in front of Crystal, propping up the woman's body to sit facing her.

Netra Levin took a look at all the curves of Crys's face that were now so close to her. The two men's hands cupped Crystal's cheeks gently.

Crys's eyes warmed, and her tears broke when Levin pulled her into the man's arms.

Crystal sobbed loudly as she leaned her head against Levin's strapping shoulder that held him so tightly, as if the man would no longer let him go from his side.

"Ah, am I interrupting your time?" An uninvited man entered the room while staring at the pair of human children who were hugging.

Crystal tried to stop her crying while staring at the door, where a middle-aged man was seen entering the room with his bodyguards wearing a face mask like a soldier.

Levin's face instantly turned cold as the familiar voice came back to his ears after a long time.

Crystal wiped her tears and realized that both Levin and Desmond's bodyguards had fallen lifeless on the floor.

Levin let go of his embrace, then looked at Crys so deeply. Crys' red eyes were puffy along to look Levin in the eyes so deeply.

"Can you walk?" Ask Levin.

Crystal was silent for a moment, trying to look at Levin's strange-looking expression.

Crystal shook her head while squeezing Levin's hand that had been clutching his hand above the thigh.

Crys' heart was instantly unsettled. What the hell is it? Who is the man at the door?

"What's wrong?" Crys asked softly as she looked at Levin with a worried face.

Levin shook his head. "Let's hold on a little while, after that, we'll go home." Levin made Crys' heart grow anxious for no reason, but he could only nod entrusting it all to the man.

Levin stared at Crystal for a moment, then his hands stretched out to wipe away the remains of his tears.

After that, Levin got up from his squatting position, then turned around to look at the middle-aged man.

Levin stared intently at the dashing and tattooed middle-aged man. "Why are you showing yourself Sergio?"

The middle-aged man named Sergio developed his smile when he saw the unfriendly cold expression emitted by Levin.

Instead of answering, Sergio lowered his gaze towards Crystal who was sitting on the floor while staring at him.

Realizing Sergio's gaze, Levin shifted his body to cover Crystal from Sergio's view.

Sergio again raised his eyes to Levin, after the man covered the woman behind his body. Sergio smiled again at Levin's attitude that was so protective of the woman.

"Say what's your purpose?" Levin asked without making small talk.

"You know what I'm about to do with Levin." Sergio.

"My answer is still the same, I won't." Levin's reply was sharp.

"You're gonna do it." Sergio and Levin looked at each other, piercing each other's beads that exuded their self-reliance.

Sergio raised his right hand, giving the code to his subordinates who were behind his body.

His subordinate looked down his head, as if understanding Sergio's intentions.

Sergio still put on his smile that did not look warm at all, which even gave a terrible impression.

Moments later, gunshots were heard from all over the building to the deafening sound of loud explosions.

"You have no choice but to follow me Levin, all your men are no longer left." Sergio.

Crystal who had tried to examine the conversation between the two men was surprised to hear Sergio's words.

So the sound of the explosion and the gunfire turned out to be aimed at all of Levin's bodyguards to take their lives.

His eyes turned towards Desmond's corpse. This is from Sergio.

"Follow me Levin! You must be my successor!"

Crystal looked back at Sergio with a questioning look, while Levin was still speechless with all his thoughts.

Levin looked at Sergio who was smiling victory while looking at him.

"Ah, if you're worried about the woman behind you, you can take her too." Sergio again.

He has no other choice. Crystal's existence makes it impossible to fight Sergio. He can't fight Sergio's men who have filled all corners of the building while protecting Crystal who can't even walk.

"So, what's your answer?" Ask Sergio again.

Levin's jaw is hardened. "You didn't give Sergio any choice, why did you ask me for my answer? Show me the way!" Sergio's smile was growing more and more perfect.

"Prepare the car!" Tell Sergio who was immediately embraced by his subordinates.

Levin looked back at Crystal, then carried the woman's body bridal-style. Crystal immediately wrapped her hands around Levin's neck.

Sergio stepped out of the room, followed by Levin and the Sergio guards behind them.

Crystal stared at the curves of Levin's face that looked so cold. Levin's hand held onto his waist so tightly. He did not want to ask her anything, because Levin and Kenzo's shoulders seemed to have borne such a heavy burden so far. He just wanted to embrace the man to be able to share the little burden that he had borne alone to him.

On the way out of the building, Crystal was stunned when her eyes saw such a terrifying sight. Hundreds of bodies were seen lying covered in blood until they hit each other. Sergio was not playing with his words.

Crys can't even see it. He drowned his face on Levin's shoulder while closing his eyes with his stomach that was beginning to feel nauseous. Not felt, they arrived outside the building with rows of cars that have been lined up neatly.

Levin takes Crystal into one of the passenger car doors that opens, then pairs the seatbelt on the woman still with her cold face that looks to hold back emotions.

"You got a car with me, Levin!" Sergio said who was in the car ahead of them.

Levin did not answer and finished his activities to install the Crystal seatbelt carefully, checking everything without being missed from his sight.

Crystal stared fixedly at Levin who was so focused on his activities, until finally Levin's eyes lifted to meet Crystal's eyes.

A pair of human children looked at each other so deeply. "After this we're going to the hospital." Levin.

Crystal nodded while cupping Levin's cheek gently. "Thank you for saving me." He said with a thin smile.

Levin fell silent, then grabbed the hands of Crys who was on his cheeks for him to bring in front of his lips.

Levin's soft lips kissed Crystal's palm while tightly grasping her hand. Crystal can see the look of Levin's eyes turning into a glare and the look of his cold face that faded.

Crystal's chest immediately felt pain and tightness to see the look on Levin's face, as if his heart also knew what Levin was resting on.

Crystal kissed the back of Levin's hand that was still holding his hand.

"Don't worry, I'll hold on." Crystal tried to smile to calm Levin down.

Levin looked at Crystal, then gave a small nod and began to distance her body. The pair of human children, still staring at each other, until finally the car door was closed by the driver.

Levin turned his head towards Sergio who was already standing next to his car. Levin stepped towards the car and entered through the left door, while Sergio entered from the right door.

After all the doors closed, dozens of cars began to drive down the road to the large Mansion Sergio which is quite far.

Unknowingly after hours of travel, the sun began to greet. His light was floating in the sea water they passed.

Dozens of cars are now passing through the cliff road area with a view of the sea on their left. This area is clearly embedded in Levin's memory. The path he always passed first when heading to the great Mansion Sergio.

Crystal was in the car he was riding in with three other people. One driver and two other bodyguard men were sitting next to him and next to the driver.

The guards still used their face coverings with firearms in their arms.

Crystal turned towards the expanse of sea and sky that began to bright orange. In the midst of the inactivity, the driver's face now turned to panic when his foot that was stepping on the brake did not work.

Knowing the panic of the driver, two other bodyguards looked at the driver with questioning looks.

"What's wrong?" Ask the bodyguard next to Crystal.

Crystal looked at the panicked driver. "The brakes don't work, the car moves without my will." Replied the driver who managed to invite panic from all passengers of the car.

When the driver's hand turns the driver's steering wheel, the car does not budge according to the driver's movement.

"Damn it, they control it remotely."

The bodyguard beside Crystal was seen wanting to open the door beside her, but could not.

So quickly, without any cue and calculation, the car slammed the steering wheel by itself to the left, hit the cliff road barrier, then plunged into the open sea under the cliff.

Levin, who had been silent since then, did not open his voice in the car along with Sergio, gasped when his ears caught a sound like a loud impact coming from the back of his car.

Levin immediately turned his head quickly back and his eyes rounded as Crystal climbed out of the roadblock that had been destroyed by being hit and the car plunged free from the top of the cliff.

Sergio who was next to Levin instantly developed a slanted smile that looked so happy because finally, the whole plan of the man had gone smoothly.
