Chapter 41's

Crystal entered Kenzo's room with an innocent face. The girl closed the door of the man's room slowly so as not to disturb the owner of the room who was focusing on staring at the file in his hand.

"Where from?" Just closing the door, the girl was immediately reviled by Kenzo.

"Help Karina to clear the meeting room" Crystal replied honestly as she stood before Kenzo's desk.

"Did I let you out?" asked Kenzo coldly as he raised his head to look at the girl.

Crystal's goosebumps were aware of Kenzo's aura which looked cold and sinister until it felt like it was piercing his skin. The man was now staring at him with a gaze as sharp as an eagle.

Crystal looked down not daring to face Kenzo who looked terrible. "Sorry." That one word could only slide out of Crystal's mouth.

"Did you meet someone there?" ask Kenzo again in a cold tone.

"Only one man came in when I was helping Karina in the meeting room" the girl replied briefly.

"Who?"

"Karina called him by the name of Mr. Killian." Crystal replied honestly.

But a second after the name came out of Crystal's mouth, Kenzo's jaw became increasingly hardened with anger. Suddenly the man violently hit his desk hard until some files on the table fell ill-fated to the floor.

Crystal flinched at Kenzo's frightening sound. The girl was confused by Kenzo's attitude which looked extremely angry for some reason.

Crystal only met one client. When he first came to this office, Kenzo even invited him to meet with him.

Kenzo immediately stuck his hand over his laptop and his hand was seen fiddling with the laptop with training. Crystal who did not understand what was going on at this moment could only remain silent with a puzzled face.

A few moments later Kenzo's hand stopped moving after pressing the enter button, then his eyes focused on the laptop screen, where a recording of the meeting room cctv was seen a few minutes ago.

Look how the guy called 'Mr. Killian entered the meeting room alone. There was also no interaction between the man and Crystal in the footage. After all, the man came faster than the promised meeting time.

After Crystal left the meeting room without anything happening, Kenzopun closed his laptop.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door that resuscitated the two humans of the opposite type. "Lake in!" kenzo said coldly.

The door opened along with Crystal who turned to see who had come in this tense moment. The arrival of the man made Crystal give thanks in his heart because the man had saved his life from the Lion's safety.

Karina with a face rushed into Kenzo's room. "Mrs. Duanovic, all the higher-ups have gathered in the meeting room." said Karina.

"I'll be there." said Kenzo again still with a cold tone and his flat face that seemed to hold back anger.

"Well, I'll bring you the file" Karina said as she stepped towards Kenzo's desk. Karina looked at some fallen files and picked them up. The girl put back the fallen file and tidied it up on the table.

Kenzo gave Karina the file she would use at the meeting. Karina politely took the file, then lowered her head for a while and then left the room with the file in her hand.

Kenzo got up, tidied up for a while, then walked out of his room without saying a word to Crystal who was still silent.

Crystal slowly raised her head as Kenzo walked past her without saying anything. Until the man's back was swallowed by the door of his large room, Crystal immediately put on an annoyed face.

"He's why?" tanyanya was annoyed by Kenzo's suddenly rude attitude as before.

"Basic freak." Also again.

A second later his upset face changed with a big smile because soon he would see his brother. Crystal walks towards the door, opens the door and finds Damian in front of the door.

"Hi." greet Crystal while laughing amusedly, then close the door slowly.

"Can we leave now?" cry asked while standing in front of Damian with a questioning face that looked innocent.

"The whole building is guarded by the other guards. You must not be seen by them or they will report it directly to Mr. Duanovic." Damian explained at length.

"What should I do then?" ask Crystal again with a hopeful face.

"Just pray that they don't find you" Damian replied briefly, densely and clearly, then walked up to the elevator.

Crystal put on a pouting face after hearing her irritating reply. But he still followed Damian's steps into the elevator.

After entering the iron box, Damian's hand pressed the B button on the elevator wall, then the elevator descended quickly to the basement.

The elevator door opened, Damian immediately came out to see the situation on the ground floor. Damian saw a bodyguard standing by the car smoking his cigarette.

Crystal who was still inside the elevator stared at Damian expectantly as her finger pressed a button that served to hold the elevator door open.

"How's it?" ask Crys in a soft voice.

Damian pressed down on a device that was in his ear, then started talking. "Go to the lobby and stand guard there!" said the man was communicating through his earpiece.

The bodyguards entered another elevator because the elevator they used was special only for Kenzo.

"Get out!" damian said coldly.

Crys frowned, then came out of the iron box and stood beside Damian while wailing to see the surroundings.

Crystal smiled happily, then stepped after Damian who had gone first towards the car they were going to use.

"Lake in!"

Damian opened the passenger door for Crystal, but the girl instead opened the door right next to the driver's seat and walked in casually.

Damian looked at the girl with a flat gaze, then closed the door he had opened and got into the car.

Crystal put on her seatbelt and turned to Damian, who started the engine.

"We go to my house first, I'll tell you the way." said the girl looking at Damian with a smile.

Damian wordlessly drove the car in the direction instructed by the girl next to him.

It did not take long until they finally arrived at one of the simple houses whose yard was overgrown with grass that began to extend. The flowers planted in the yard began to look withered and dry unkempt.

Crystal stared at the appalling state of her home with a sad face. The girl held up one of the flower pots and found the keys to her house under the pot.

He opened his door and was shocked to see the messy state of his house with a paper containing a brochure of his face that disappeared.

Crystal stared at the slices as she continued her steps deeper and deeper into the kitchen. His eyes again caught a lot of fast food and his wrappings were still scattered on the dining table.

Unknowingly Crystal's eyes began to glaze over unable to imagine her brother passing day after day like this.

It felt like Crystal wanted to meet her brother and hold him tightly, then say that he had been fine all along.

"Don't touch anything!" damian said suddenly as Crystal's hand was about to touch the picture frame of her and her brother on the day of her high school graduation first.

Hearing the cold greeting of the man behind her, Crystal retracted her hand slowly with a resigned and sad face.

Crystal stepped towards her room, opened the door and looked at her room which was still the same as the last time she left.

The girl closed the door to her room again. "Let's go to work." said Crystal, turning to Damian and looking at the man.

"He wasn't there" said Damian, who surprised Crystal.

"No way, you know where? then where is he if not there?" ask Crystal over a period of time.

"Follow me!"

Crystal and Damian get back in the car and drive from the girl's house to a place unknown to Crystal.

A few minutes drive down a road that looks familiar, finally Damian's car stopped on the side of the road close to the city square.

Crystal frowned confusedly with a frowning frown, then turned her head around. In that instant, Crys saw a familiar figure walking back and forth between people on foot, handing out a brochure in his hand.

"Sister." hissed Crys as he stared fixedly at his pale-looking brother and his thin-looking body.

It also felt like Crystal wanted to get out of the car, approach her brother and hug him tightly. The person he longed for so much was now right in front of his eyes, yet he could do nothing but sit and watch. His eyes began to turn red and he immediately turned his head quickly towards Damian because he could not see his brother like that any longer or he could cry incoherently.

"Let's go!" she said slowly while holding down crying.

Damian who heard it immediately drove his car back toward Kenzo's company.

There was still silence between the two human children. Crystal was silent and did not open her voice and her eyes stared out the window while Damian focused on driving the car.

Until finally their car got into the basement yard and stopped. Crystal opened the door next to her and walked out of it, followed by Damian.

Damian walked behind Crys who was seen walking like an undead. The girl remained silent until they got into the elevator and Damian just followed without taking part.

The elevator door closed and Crystal turned around and stood in front of Damian with a fixed look.

"Help me escape as far away from the man as possible."
