Chapter 65 - Levin's Feeling

Kenzo is now at the headquarters where he, Davin, and their other comrades are gathered. The place had started rarely visited by Davin, but the man still secretly took care of his underground business even though his wife had banned him.

Kenzo looked at Ansell sitting on a chair with a computer in front of him.

The man has long been invisible. Usually he would harass her and kidnap Davin's twins into her Mansion.

"How's your hunt in Berlin?" Kenzo asked as he sat on the soft sofa of the magnificent, luxurious and sophisticated room.

Ansell turned to Kenzo. "You know what?" Ask Ansell.

"Yes, Davin told me." The answer.

Ansell. "That damn thing always bothers me." And Kenzo knew exactly who he meant.

It was Lucas. A man who had great abilities like Ansell had. They never get along. Somehow they always seem to race who is the greatest and who will win.

"Who are you hunting?" Ask Kenzo. I don't know why the two men had to hunt the same thing.

"You don't need to know." Ansell refocused on her computer.

Kenzo was silent. He also doesn't care much about their business.

"What about Desmond?" Ask Kenzo again.

"Levin's right, your ex-lover's been his subordinate, even before you met." Answer Ansell.

"You found the data?" Ask Kenzo.

"Look at the screen!" Kenzo turned to a 98-inch screen that was joined to the wall. Ansell displayed an attachment to the large screen that was controlled from her computer.

"He was taken by Desmond from an orphanage when he was 13. The man had often taken abandoned children to be treated and would be used as his subordinates. Damian, too, was taken from the orphanage when he was 15."

"It looks like he did indeed order the woman to approach you." Ansell said again.

"See this!" Ansell displayed a photo of the building that Kenzo knew so well and an image of the purchase and identity documents.

"The building was purchased in the name of Annelise Montiva. It was his real name from the orphanage data, before Desmond gave his current identity."

Ansell displays an attachment to the document again. "Damian has a younger sister. They both lived in an orphanage after both of their parents died in an accident."

"Where's his sister?" Ask Kenzo.

"Died, a month before Desmond took her. Her sister was sexually abused and abused by three male workers at the orphanage." Ansell attached several photos of a beautiful looking girl as well as some photos of Damian and his family when he was a child.

"I only found out what Adam Alterio did, but there's no evidence that he was a traitor." Ansell.

"Then did Desmond invent the fake evidence?" Ask again.

"Maybe he is. In fact, the more profitable after the death of Adam Alterio is You and Desmond, although your money must be forfeited because the project is not finished." His word.

"But I found something strange." Ansell re-attached some documents and photos on the big screen.

"Desmond has been investing big funds since 7 years ago into a company with a similar field to Adam Alterio's company." Kenzo stood up from his seat. He stared at the company building.

"It seems you already know what I mean." Ansell stared at Kenzo's reaction.

"Did he continue with the project all this time?" Ask Kenzo.

"Maybe." Ansell replied briefly while shaking her shoulders.

It's been 7 years and Kenzo just learned that Desmond has prepared and done this.

The Flashback

The five years ago

"You must investigate Desmond." Kenzo looked at Levin with a flat face.

"Why?" Ask Kenzo coldly.

"It seems like he's been up to something." Levin.

"Where do you know?"

"Just look at his movements." Answer Levin casually. He did not look serious to say it, making Kenzo also respond to it with no serious.

Kenzo left the mirror in his bathroom with a flat face.

Flashback Off

The memories returned to his head. Levin's words at that time actually had meaning and it happened today. Whether Levin had known about it in the first place, or if the man only had a good premonition.
