Chapter 64 - Damian is Back

Kenzo stared at the watch in his hand which showed it at 2 p.m. After that, he stared at the side, where there was a beautiful woman curled up under the covers with her eyes closed.

Kenzo is completely insane. He could have canceled to go to his office this morning, and ended up in bed with Crystal instead.

Kenzo got up slowly from the bed, then grabbed his robe to cover his innocent body. He stepped into his bathroom which looked dim.

Kenzo stood in front of the mirror with a cold face, staring at his normal reflection, becoming another figure from himself.

The figure smiled slantedly as he looked at Kenzo with a mocking look. "How long are you gonna pretend to be me?" Ask Levin.

Kenzo kept silent not to answer. "What's next?" Kenzo asked immediately to divert Levin's question.

Levin chuckles. "Make Damian his personal bodyguard again." Levin.

"For what?" Kenzo asked in a dislike tone.

"He likes Crystal." Levin said at length.

"Then why put it next to Crys?" Kenzo made Levin laugh.

"Haha, now you're even calling her name." Levin mocked.

Kenzo growled furiously. He was already very serious, while Levin still continued to laugh at and mock him.

"The man looks worried. Let's see if his heart beats his brain, or vice versa." Levin.

Kenzo silently digested Levin's plan properly. "Then?" Ask Kenzo again.

"Keep watching Allaric! I don't know what Desmond told him that the fool trusted him so much."

"And throw that woman out!" Kenzo stared intently at Levin's eyes after hearing that.

"Why? You still love her?" Levin asked mockingly.

"The woman was Desmond's subordinate. You know, but you chose to close your eyes." Said Levin upset because all this time he's been trying to resuscitate Kenzo.

"Let her!" Kenzo's short and cold answer managed to make Levin more emotional.

"Woman or Crystal, who would you choose?" Levin asked frontally with a sharp look.

Kenzo did not answer for a moment, then a slanted smile turned from his lips. "Don't I ever tell you, he can only leave when I let him go or when he—Dead." Kenzo pressed his last word deeply, making a slanted smile rise on Levin's lips. He knew that the word was on Crystal.

"You know, there are two kinds of people, one who learns before something happens and one who learns after something has happened. You chose to be which human." Levin looked at Kenzo meaningfully, which not even Kenzo understood.

"Whatever it is, I will never regret." Answer Kenzo.

"Okay, Let's see." After saying those words, Levin's figure disappeared and there was only a reflection of himself in the mirror reflection.

Kenzo walked away from the front of the sink, opened his robe to fall to the floor, then stepped up and stood under the shower to take a shower.

Duanovic's Mansion | 07.15 PM

Crystal walked down the stairs while eating a chocolate candy she asked from a waiter, seeing the waiter eat it.

He headed to the dining table that looked already full of some kind of tempting food. Crys sat up with excitement.

"Good fun, Miss." Said a waiter.

"Thank you." Answer Crys friendly.

Crystal didn't wait for Kenzo to have dinner together, because the man said,! he's leaving tonight to take care of his business. As footsteps approached the dining table, Crys was convinced that she was Nathalie.

"Good night Miss." Crys gasped in shock as she dropped the spoon in her hand when she heard the familiar voice.

Crystal immediately turned her head quickly and found Damian behind her.

"Damians." Crys looked in disbelief as the man greeted her and spoke to her again.

"I'm reassigned to be your personal bodyguard starting today."

"really?" Tanya Crys still did not expect.

Damian just looked down a sign that he meant it.

"Please continue your dinner." Damian said politely, while Crys was still silent with a face of shock.

Crys slowly turned her body and looked back at the food on the table.

"Did Levin tell you to?" Crystal asked as she went back to eating and occasionally glanced at Damian.

"True Miss."

"It turns out he went for this. Then, where's Levin?" Ask Crystal again. If Kenzo went to give Damian the order, where is the man now?

"I don't know Miss." Answer Damian.

Crystal nodded in understanding, then turned back to look at Damian. "Sit down and eat with me, we haven't talked for a long time." His word.

"I'm fine Miss."

"I forced." Crys doesn't want to lose. Damian looked at the woman with a meaningful look.

Looks like Crystal's been exposed to the authoritarian virus from Kenzo and Levin. Damian resigned and sat down on the dining table chair beside Crystal.

Damian ate the food served by the waiter with a flat face, but he looked a little shy. Crystal smiled amusedly at the awkwardness of the man beside her.

"I think Kenzo." Crys turned to find Nath walking closer to the dining table. Nath sat down on his seat while looking at Damian who was not looking at him at all.

"What's this?" Nath asked puzzled because he had not seen Damian beside the woman for a long time.

"Damian is back as my personal bodyguard." Answer Crys.

"Yes." Yeah." Answer the short Crys.

Nath is seen staring at Damian inside, while Crys is busy with her breakfast. Nath's eyes turned to look at Crystal and looked at the woman's every move.

His eyes stopped right at a reddish mark that was on the woman's neck. Nath's eyes squinted sharply at him.

"So it's true Levin's back." Inner Nath was upset.

"Your brother's looking for you from last night." Said Nath suddenly, who managed to make Crystal go silent rigidly.

Nathalie knew what had happened to the brothers, and so did Damian. They were the pawns that Desmond had placed to know all the movements inside the Kenzo Mansion.

"You met my brother?" Tanya Crys lifted her face and looked at Nath deeply.

"Yes, last night I accidentally met him in the hallway." Nath.

"She looks a little messy and upset, I don't know why." He pretended not to know.

Crys. Was he too bad for his brother? That's what's going through his head. But to be honest he was still not ready to meet with Aric after the events of that day.

"Meet your brother, I'm sure there's something you need to talk about." Nathalie said again.

Crystal just kept quiet, then continued her dinner with a convoluted mind. She was worried about seeing her sister or not.

...****************...

Crystal pondered inside her room while standing on her balcony. He was still pensive because of Nathalie's speech in the dining room.

Crystal snorted in annoyance, then headed towards the door of her room and exited from there. He was a little surprised to see Damian there.

Damian looked at Crystal. "What's wrong Miss?" Ask Damian.

"I'm going to my sister's room." Damian looked at him. He did not expect Nathalie's tactics to succeed in making Crys change his mind.

In fact Nathalie had never even met Allaric in the hallway. It's just common sense for them to meet.

"I'll be with you." Crys gave a small nod, then walked towards her brother's room with a nervous feeling.

Along the way, it felt as if Crys wanted to re-spin his steps and undo his intentions. But finally, his legs still stepped until right in front of Allaric's room.

Crys hands raised doubtfully, then knocked on the door so quietly. Crys waited nervously, until finally the door in front of him opened and the figure of Allaric who looked at him surprised.

"Crystal." Crys silently did not answer. He looked down at the floor with a burning feeling. He misses his brother, but on the other hand he always remembers the incident.

"Sorry Brother Crys." Aric spoke in a pleading tone. The man immediately hugged Crys tightly which was still at the door.

Crys face turned soft. His face sank on the chest of Aric's field as he retorted hugging him tightly.

"Sorry you've been rude to me." Said Aric who was reciprocated nod by Crys who was in his chest.

Aric smiled happily, then let go of his embrace. Crystal raised her face looking at Allaric who was also fixedly staring at her.

Crystal smiled as Aric threw a gentle and warm smile at her, but within seconds, the man's faint smile was replaced with a sharp look.

Allaric's hand violently exposed his sister's hair and stared intently at a reddish mark on the woman's neck.

"What'sthis? What does this mean Crystal?" Allaric's tone is back up. He was convinced that it was a kissmark.

Crys was confused. The woman does not realize that Kenzo left a trace of his possession in such an open place.

"You slept with him?"

"I'm..."

"He forced you, didn't he?"

"Sister, he's not..."

"You're handing over your body willingly?"

Crystal speechless. "Damn it, I'll kill him." Aric's voice that shouted out loudly managed to make Crys slightly jerked in shock.

"You like it?" Ask Aric again.

Crystal was still silent, making Aric grab his hair in frustration. Aric understands his sister's inertia, which means that Crystal does like the man.

"You're crazy, Crys? He's our parents' killer." Aric gripped both of Crys's shoulders firmly. He really felt failed and useless because this had happened to his sister.

"She said she didn't kill our parents." Cry sighed so quietly, yet was still heard by Aric.

"Well, and you believe what a criminal says?" Aric said again in frustration.

"Sister, he explained what had happened to Papa and Mama. The project that Papa worked on 12 years ago." Said Crys.

Damian stared at the scene in front of him so intently. Desmond said Allaric should not be fooled and turned against him.

"You know, that night he was in our house. He's in front of Mama's body and you see it for yourself with your eyes on Crystal's head." Crystal removed Allaric's hands from his shoulders.

"There was someone else in the room, I remember it clearly. He's Desmond, the man who kidnapped my brother. That man is also the killer." Crystal said in frustration.

"How different is he from Kenzo Cry? They're both killers, we need to get out of this place." Said Allaric again.

Crystal shook her head "I won't leave before everything is revealed. What's the reason Mama and Papa have to die and who's the real killer." Crystal said firmly. He must fight his brother this time for the truth that has been hidden from him.

Allaric lowered his head as he restored his coarse hair. He was really frustrated over Crystal's choice. He had chosen to forget everything and return to live peacefully with his sister.

Aric does not want the truth to be revealed, as he believes there is something to pay for to reveal the bloody incident.

"Sorry brother, but Crystal wants to be selfish this time. I know you'll never agree, but please don't stop Crys." Crys looked at Aric who was injured, then turned to leave the man who was still upset.
