Chapter 93 - The End

Five months after the marriage between Kenzo and Thalia ended in bloodshed, Kenzo resumed his life, but it no longer felt the same as before.

Crystal is still not found and the search until now is still carried out, whether until when it will continue. To date, Kenzo still looks to not give up and continue the search. 

Ansell is now stepping inside the Kenzo Mansion to look for the man, who has not been in his office for a week.

"Good day, sir." A servant who accidentally ran into him.

"Where is he?" Ask Ansell.

As if understanding the meaning of the man's question, the servant replied by lowering his head.

"Mr Duanovic was in his room, it's been a week that you've not been out of there." The answer.

Ansell only gave a short nod, then continued her steps towards the man's room. Arriving in front of Kenzo's room, Ansell immediately opened the door without bothering to knock and even said words of pardon.

As soon as the door opened, Ansell's eyes could only catch the darkness from within, but the sun was shining brightly outside. 

Ansell stared at Kenzo's tightly-covered room curtains. The man's room light was not on. Ansell clicked, then looked for the light switch and turned it on.

The light of the lamp immediately illuminates the entire room that looks so messy and unkempt. Ansell stared at the figure of the owner of the room sitting on his single sofa, with bottles of liquor scattered on the floor and beside the nightstand.

"Off!" The hissing of the hoarse-sounding voice made Ansell chuckle briefly in a mocking tone.

"When did you become a drunk?" Ask Ansell.

"Shut your mouth!" Reply Kenzo still looks completely unconscious with his head bowed like a sleeping person. 

Ansell took a deep breath and threw it away violently. Kenzo became like this after he was free from Sergio's grip. Ansell understood why Kenzo could be this bad, especially if it wasn't for his undiscovered woman.

After feeling what Davin and Kenzo are feeling, Ansell comes to understand the importance of the presence of someone we love and the pain felt when that person leaves or disappears. 

Ansell thought Kenzo's situation wouldn't be as bad as it is now, because when Nathalie-her ex-lover left her, Kenzo wasn't this bad. 

The effect that Crystal gave was as big and as influential as it was to Kenzo. 

"When are you going to be like this?" Ansell asked in a serious tone.

Kenzo fell silent. The man did not answer and was still in the same position.

"The company you built from scratch will soon be destroyed if you continue like this." Ansell said again.

"I don't care." Kenzo's voice sounded a little hissing.

Ansell was furious at hearing that. "The woman's departure doesn't mean the end of your life." He stared at Kenzo with a very angry look.

"You know what? What if I kill your woman right now?" Kenzo raised his head and looked at Ansell sharply with his face that looked tangled like one who never slept.

Kenzo's eyes looked red and the man's lips were dry and pale. His eyes also look beautiful.

Now it was Ansell's turn to be silent after hearing Kenzo's striking words.

"Alright, I'm sorry, but at least don't give up like this. You have fought to this point with your own energy and effort, even before he is present in your life. Then you choose to destroy all the effort you built last night?"

"Crystal also definitely doesn't want to see you like this for too long, she'll want you to move on with your life."

Kenzo fell silent, until finally his head was lowered and his eyes began to close. Instantly a shadow of Crystal's face appeared in his head. 

The woman was seen smiling widely with full of gentleness while looking at him deeply. The woman's hand was seen stretched out towards him and slowly coiled around to hug his neck. Kenzo's shoulders trembled and slowly his tears fell free with a sobbing that sounded full of sadness and pain.

Though he had promised to do anything as long as Crystal did not leave him. He had done anything, even willing to sacrifice his own life, but the woman still left him.

The shadows of his past with Crystal are like flashbacks to a movie. All that appeared on his head was Crystal's face that always shone gently with her innocent face while being annoyed, which made Kenzo's chest even more tight.

Ansell threw back her heavy breathing. For the first time, Ansell saw Kenzo crying like this.

Ansellpun walked out of the room, leaving Kenzo alone so that he could shed all his sorrow.

1 Year after Crystal disappeared from her life. Kenzo lived his days as he used to, coldly and unmoved.

At this moment Kenzo stepped into Davin's room which was in the man's Mansion. That afternoon, Davin suddenly contacted him and asked him to meet him, until Kenzo finally ended up in this place.

"What's wrong?" Kenzo asked as he walked into Davin's room without knocking on the man's door.

"You better stop the search." Davin to the point.

Kenzo looked at Davin with a stern look. "I'll leave." Kenzo said coldly and left the room.

"He won't come back." Davin said quickly before Kenzo opened the door again.

Kenzo's hand stopped while holding the doorknob. The man's head turned towards Davin with a sharp look.

"I won't stop until I find her body." Kenzo.

"Until now none of their bodies have been found." Davin.

"Therefore I will not stop." Kenzo.

"It's been a year, it's likely that their bodies have been destroyed at the bottom of the ocean. We can't risk divers going all over the ocean just for your selfishness." Davin.

Kenzo fell silent, the man's hands clenched tightly. Davin took out a small box, then placed it on the table.

"This object was discovered 3 months ago after the carcass was lifted from the ocean." Kenzo stared at the box, then immediately stepped towards Davin's desk and opened it quickly.

As Kenzo's eyes rounded, his shoulders slowly squeezed to see the object in the box.

"The canyon may be hers, because she's the only woman in the car." Davin said again.

Kenzo closed the box quickly, then his head looked down with shaky shoulders.

Is over.

The fight ended here.

The discovery makes it clear that Crystal will never return to him. He could no longer expect a miracle for Crystal to reappear before him.

Davin was silent when Kenzo again sobbed full of grief. He also could not imagine what if he was in Kenzo's position.

Kenzo's hand squeezed the box so tightly. A butterfly-shaped necklace that he bought from an auction and gave to Crystal. The necklace is a relic of his mother, which there is only one in the world because it is customised by his father as their Anniversary gift.

So there's no way this necklace has another duplicate.

This necklace belongs to Crystal.

And now it's time to say goodbye.

Duanovic's Mansion

Kenzo entered the Crystal room that had been unoccupied for this one year. Everything still looked the same as last time, when the woman was still living in her room.

Kenzo stared into the room, then stepped closer to the dresser and placed the box containing the necklace on the table.

Afterwards, Kenzo lay on Crystal's bed staring fixedly at the ceiling. The fragrance of the room of the owner who always calms his mind, slowly begins to disappear by itself.

Everything slowly started to return to its original state when he had yet to meet Crystal. His presence was no longer tangible, but the figure of the woman was still clearly imprinted on his head and in every memory.
