Chapter 29's

Crystal stared at the reflection of herself in front of the mirror intently. Behind him looks a resplendent man who smiles satisfied while staring at Crystal with his arrogant posture. Crystal stroked her hair which now decomposes beautifully with a curly natural model. The makeup used is also thin and natural but looks classy.

Crys twisted her body and stared at her beautifully fluffy dress. The material is thin and transparent, the chest to the waist is decorated with beautiful Swarovski stones. His eyes caught his back exposed clearly and the part of his chest that was also too down and slightly transparent. Plus the part of the dress that is fairly high.

"Is there no other dress?" cry asked in an uncomfortable tone. 

"This is my new dress and the most expensive one here, I don't want to disappoint Mr. Kenzo" said the man, waving his hand from his chin to his neck spoiled.

Crystal grunting. "But I'm not comfortable, it's too open" Crys said again, staring at the man with a face that was clear.

"Ck, I understand what kind of model Mr. Kenzo likes. All the women have been sexy, charming and classy, I was surprised when she brought you here who did not belong to that category at all. So, shut up and don't ruin my work!" the man said as he pulled Crystal's hand from there and carried the girl onto a small stage where in front of him was a large curtain that was closed.

Crys just stood there twisting her fingers as the man walked away from there with an impatient smile.

"He's done, sir." said the gentleman as he approached Kenzo who was sitting on the sofa sweetly while playing his phone.

The large curtain opens and shows the figure of Crys standing awkwardly while looking straight ahead.

Kenzo raised his head and looked towards Crystal with a sharp and fixed gaze. His eyes dropped from top to bottom as if observing carefully.See how uncomfortable Crystal with the clothes he was wearing.

A few seconds observing Crystal, Kenzo stared at the gleaming man next to him who was seen putting on a proud smile.

"Are your abilities only this limited?" kenzo said to the man with a shocked look.

"It doesn't fit." added Kenzo flat with a sharp tone and a deadly gaze.

"Replace with a choice dress that she likes!" kenzo said absolutely, then turned his eyes back to his phone.

Crystal who had been a spectator since then was surprised to see Kenzo's attitude. He didn't expect that man would do such a thing. The gurgling man lowered his head for a while then returned to the back to remodel the Crystal back.

Crystal got out of the car while pulling her dress up. She chose a dress that looked more comfortable for her, but looked perfect for coming to a fancy event.

Crystal walked hand in hand with Kenzo who was next to her. Kenzo walks with his charisma and sharp aura that draws the entire eye of the guests.

Crystal felt uncomfortable as the gaze of the eyes unintentionally fell on her due to being next to the man.

Crystal slowed his pace so much that he walked behind Kenzo like he was a subordinate. Kenzo begins to realize that Crystal is not next to him and walks slowly behind him.

Kenzo stared from the tail of his eyes for a while, then continued his steps towards the other company officials who were participating in the event.

Crystal was still silent and followed Kenzo's steps without saying much. As the man walked up to his colleagues, Crystal flinched as his hand was suddenly pulled by someone.

Crystal looked at the person and breathed a sigh of relief that he was Karina. Karina stood up while putting on her wide and sweet smile.

"You came as well" Karina said, opening the conversation.

Crystal nodded awkwardly. "Let's sit there." take Karina with gusto.

Crystal seemed to want to refuse, then turned her eyes towards Kenzo who had arrived there and was now having a serious conversation with his colleagues.

Kenzo did not stare at him and eventually followed Karina's pull.

Karina took him to a table full of food. "Take the food you want, then we'll talk there." point Karina at the round table that looks empty.

Crys simply complies with what Karina says and takes the food she wants. Afterwards, they walked together to the table.

"Look at you coming in with Mr. Duanovic." said Karina while raising her eyebrows curiously.

"No, we just met in front by accident" Crystal shook his head nervously.

"Oh really?" Crystal nodded while eating her food awkwardly.

Karina was seen nodding her head, then spread her eyes towards Kenzo who was still talking with her serious face.

"Look at him, didn't Mr. Duanovic is perfect?" karina said as she stared at Kenzo with a look of admiration.

Crys frowned as she stared fixedly at Kenzo. Observe the man closely and find out what Karina likes about the cruel man.

"He's very handsome and he's very nice, he's also very ambitious and smart" Karina praised with an amazed smile.

'His physique was indeed perfect, but his heart was not.' Inner Crys scoffed with all his heart.

Crystal turned her eyes away from Kenzo and spread her eyes all over the hotel hall. His eyes were trying to attract something more attention-grabbing than Kenzo's.

"Oh look, it's the owner of Raveno International along with his wife and son." Crystal turned her head in the direction Karina pointed to and found a married couple along with her two sons.

"His name is Davin Anthonic Raveno, he was Mr.'s boss and friend. Duanovic, until now Mr. Duanovic has his own company." explains Karina at length.

Crystal mangosteen understood while looking towards the one family that was walking towards Kenzo.

But the thing that attracted him happened afterwards. Crystal was flabbergasted when she saw Kenzo smiling so sincerely as she held the boy from the man named Davin.

Cheerfully, the boy ran towards Kenzo with impatient steps. Kenzo looks very different 180 degrees when he faces the boy.

Crystal's eyes stared fixedly at the rare event with a face of astonishment. He saw how Kenzo had a warm conversation with the boy without letting out his smile.

'Woah, he has such a nature as well as it turns out.' Crystal said inwardly in amazement.

"Hey."

Crystal regained her senses and immediately looked towards Karina in confusion. "What's wrong? Don't tell me you're getting interested in Mr. Duanovic." said Karina with probing eyes and squeaking eyes.

"Ahh, it's impossible. Take it easy, she's not my type, you can have her." Crystal shook her head quickly while laughing at Karina's words.

After that Karina was seen putting on a satisfied smile. "I'm sorry to go to the toilet for a minute" Crystal told Karina. Karina nodded, then Crystal stood up from her seat and walked to look for the toilet.

Crystal walked down the hotel hallway and finally found a sign that read toilet. Crystal stepped in the hallway, then went into the toilet with the words Women.

Inside the toilet, there was only Crystal alone. Crystal began to wash her hands, then stared at the reflection of herself in front of the sink glass intently. His outstretched hand fixed his hair mane that looked a little messy.

Suddenly the toilet door opened and Crys turned with a surprised face when he saw a stranger-looking man enter the area.

Crystal rewinded her steps in panic as the man started walking with intimidating steps and her slanted smile. He was the guy who put on a sweet smile at her in the office, yet that smile looked terrible.

He's James.

"It looks like you're wrong to enter Mr. James's room. This is a woman's toilet" Crystal said, trying to hide panic and positive thinking.

But the look on his face instantly turned frantic as he watched James' smile expand widely as he continued to walk in and lock the toilet door from the inside.

"I'm not in the wrong room, I did go in to see you" James said, putting on a slanted smile that looked terrible.
