Victimizing Yourself for Love

Victimizing Yourself for Love
Part *41

Tora hurried to leave Dicky's house. He was already impatient to hand the mango he got to Tami. Along the way, she thought about how happy Tami was when she received the mango she was carrying.

Almost thirty minutes Tora was driving at a moderate speed, eventually, she got home. When he arrived, he saw his parents' car parked. Curiously, he immediately went inside. Of course, by carrying mangoes with difficulty.

When he had just set foot in the guest room, he immediately got a sharp gaze from his parents who happened to be sitting close to him facing the door.

A little bad. But Tora still stepped forward as if nothing had happened to her feelings after getting a sharp gaze from her parents.

"Mama, papa, when did you guys come? Why didn't you call me before you came here?"

"You're a brash kid, Tora. The big news is that you don't know us. And now, you're asking us to let you know if we want to come. What kind of a kid are you, huh?" His father spoke in an annoyed tone.

"I mean ... papa?"

"Why didn't you tell me Tami was pregnant right now? Why are you keeping this happy thing from us, huh? Don't you think we exist, Tora?" Her mother also grumbled.

Tora could only put on an unpleasant face while grinning the horse.

"I want to tell you the truth, too. But, wait for the right time. Mom just as papa doesn't have to be angry like that. I was not intentional either."

"Inadvertently not intentionally. You think we are not important to you. So I don't know when I get happy news. We wouldn't know if Siah wasn't talking about Tami's pregnancy. You really are this."

"Sorry, Ma, Pa. Now, you know. Not a surprise any more. And ... please don't be angry anymore. Later, I can faint due to the tantrums from nowhere and papa. Oh yeah, where's Tami now?"

"He's in the room. We told him to rest because he didn't seem to be feeling well. Also his face was like he was holding back a sense of disappointment."

"Well, I'm going to the room now, Ma, Pa." Tora spoke while stepping.

"E .. e. uh. Cheque. This kid's a fucking kid." His face spoke while shaking his head.

Tora gets to Tami's room. He entered without knocking on the door first. When he entered, he saw Tami sitting quietly beside the bed with a gloomy face without any happiness.

Seeing that, Tora immediately chose to sit next to Tami with a curiosity about the moody expression Tami was showing now. He looked at the face for a moment, then, wanted to gently touch Tami's hand. But, Tami immediately ran away her hand.

"What's up, Tami? What's wrong now?"

"Nothing's wrong. It's just, I'm a little disappointed in your attitude of not saying this pregnancy to your parents. Aren't you the one who asked me to keep this child, Tora? Then why didn't you tell your parents about this kid? Don't you want her to be recognized as a grandchild?"

Tora now holds both of Tami's shoulders gently.

"Look at me, Tami. I didn't lie to you. I will take care of our child with all my soul and body. I'll make him feel the full affection of all our families."

"What about your promise to release me after this child is born? Is that still happening?"

Tami's question just now made Tora's hand weaken. The hand that had initially held his shoulders, now fell drooping weakly like there was not the slightest energy.

Tora was straight from her seat.

"Did you really want to leave me with our son after he was born? Was the decision hard, Tami? If it is, I will not arrest you. I will release you as I promised you before."

After saying that, Tora immediately left the room. There was a pain he could not utter with the words lodged in his heart now. Meanwhile, Tami, she could only stare at the shoulder that went away from her until it was lost behind the bedroom door.

'Awake, Tami. He just wants the child in your womb. He doesn't want you. You should, you know that. You mean nothing to him. There is no meaning whatsoever. He has no intention of holding you back in the least. Not even a mere pleasantry. She just wanted her son, remember that.'

Tami wiped away the tears that were slowly flowing without her being able to hold back. He was injured because what he expected did not materialize in the least.

Meanwhile, Tora stayed in the room after driving her parents to the car. He was saddened by a life that seemed like there was not the slightest bit of happiness approaching.

In that grief, he suddenly remembered the brown map Dicky had given him before he came home. He took the map he had previously placed on the nightstand. Then, with curiosity, he immediately opened the map.

Tora's eyes widened as she looked at the contents of the map she had just opened. It was the result of an investigation into Tami's parents' accident. All the evidence is in the map.

There is also a flash disk in the map. Tora did not want to waste any more time, she immediately attached the flash disk to the laptop that was on the nightstand next to her bed.

Tora clasped her hand tightly when she heard the confession from the recording of a man who was inside the flash disk. He was so upset that he couldn't say any more words. He almost slammed the laptop if he did not remember that the person he saw was just a recording. Not really the real person.

Tora tried to control herself after a few minutes, she finally succeeded. He picked up the laptop quickly to take it to Tami's room.

"Tami. You should see this now," Tora said as she opened the door.

When he came in, he saw Tami crying. Tora looked at the pity of the woman who was clearly his current wife. But unfortunately, he was not the husband his wife wanted. Never mind giving the shoulder as a place to lean, raising the hand to wipe the tears that his wife just dropped he could not afford.
