It's been 1 month since Mom found out that I'm pregnant. My mom started acting different. My mother started screaming at me. And a moment later it began to feel ashamed that he would not be able to go anywhere with me. Then my mom started to get hysterical. Mama also started working hard to earn money and pay for the cost of living at home.
I came back from school and found three bags full of baby stuff in the house. I even woke up in the middle of the night because I was not feeling well and found that Mama was sitting at the dinner table and seemed to be counting something.
I slipped back into the room and realized that my pregnancy was making things very difficult for Mama. Mama really looks so miserable right now.
On the other hand Papa never spoke to me though. Papa calls me a woman****** who can't close my legs tight.
That was the last time I talked to Papa. Papa will leave before I wake up and no matter what time it is and I always hear Papa arrive home at 01:00 am.
While my brother Gea, he's fine with all these things. He's a very good brother. He was actually trying to sell his old car because he had just bought a new car. But instead of selling the car, he gave the old car to me. He said I'd need that car.
Brother Gea and Mama accompanied me to go for a routine check-up for the first time and from that day on they were both very supportive of me even Mama.
Mama said that Mama did want to be a grandmother even if it was too little faster than Mama had imagined.
As for my friends right now, my pregnancy has gone into three and a half months and most of them have realized something different from me. I don't go to any parties anymore and when I can go, I don't drink alcohol anymore. I realized people were looking at me with different eyes. But I kept my head high and ignored them.
For Olivia and John, Olivia is still the best friend I have. She helps me all the time and comes with me when I need her help. She even stood up for me against the bad gazes of people and about the rumors of me being pregnant.
For John, nothing happened. That was quite disappointing for me. I knew I shouldn't have expected anything. But all of that still hurts. I knew that he would have no reason to get close to me. Why would he want to get involved with a girl who is pregnant at 17.
When I woke up this morning, I was bored. I tried to do something to comfort myself. But things aren't going well. I then tried to go to a store and pick out some items for the baby.
Mama and Kak Gea, both decided to help me by giving me their money until I finished my high school and got a good job that made me feel happy.
I then walked towards the area where the baby's needs were and there I saw John. He seemed to be talking to the cashier of the store and after that he walked closer to me.
"Hey Adel.." John said as he approached me.
I smiled at him trying to remember the last time I spoke to him without anyone around us.
"Hey John." I try to imitate how his voice sounds. "What are you doing here?" My toot.
He looked around, then looked at me with a face that looked guilty.
"I'm looking for a farewell gift." John replied in a soft voice.
"Oh, who's going? Who her? Do I know him?" My toot.
"That's me." Reply John.
"You're so funny. But you don't get a gift for yourself. If you're gonna go then who's the gift for?" My toot.
"Yes I'll go and get this gift for you." Her speech.
He looked back at me and I saw the truth in his eyes.
'John is leaving.'
I stared at him for a moment before I said anything.
"Why? When?" My toot.
He took a long breath.
"I only came here for a while. At first I thought I'd be here a while longer. But I got an offer from a university and it was a very good offer. I even got a full scholarship to play football." Reply John while looking at me.
"Wow, I never even knew that you were a footballer." I said nervously. "But that doesn't explain why you should give me a gift." Continue me.
I try not to think about the fact that he's leaving. I even tried to think about why I was so upset that John was leaving.
"Yes, I really like football. And this scholarship means that I can go anywhere using that scholarship." John smiled, smiling. "And of course it will make a smile on the faces of my parents." Continue John.
I looked at John in confusion. When he realized that I looked confused, he laughed a little loudly.
"Mama and Papa, I mean they really hate the fact that I'm a footballer." Said John.
I tried to smile when I understood how he was feeling.
"Hey..." Speak softly to John. "Don't worry, you'll be fine. Olivia's gonna help you and I'm gonna start calling you now and then."
I realized for some reason, that I was so stupid for being dependent on John. I really feel stupid because of it. I even tried to talk to him when none of this was the case.
I am indeed a fool who could sleep with a man whom even I myself do not remember who that man was.
I smiled as John looked at me with a smile on his face.
After that I spent the whole day with John. I try not to let him buy me anything. But, no matter how hard I tried, it still didn't work. He kept buying me the best baby bed. The bed was about 2 meters long and about 1 meter wide.
The bed was made of mahogany wood where everything looked so new and shiny. He also gave a mattress as a bedding and several pairs of clothes for the baby. There are also various other baby equipment, in the form of blankets, and hanger toys that can be mounted on a baby bed in the form of various forms of animals. John was really nice to me.
Seriate....
