Grandmother's argument

This morning, the atmosphere at the dining table was quite quiet.  There was not much to talk about at the Wijaksono family dining table. Each focused on the food in front of him.

Another case with Martha, the woman was still staring at the empty chair that a few days ago was still occupied by Brams. Many things he wanted to say after a night he thought about Marsya's words that he thought had a point.

For Martha, she knew Brams well enough. What's wrong if he hears a defense from Brams' side? So why not try a defense?

He tried to defend his wife and give Martha a briefing at the same time.

“He will have trouble finding a partner especially if people know what his son is like.” Martha's sentence swallowed in several parts.

“Why mamah so bring Brandon?” Ivana did not accept. When it comes to her son, Ivana is indeed more sensitive.

Martha could not answer, Ivana's gaze turned out to be more intimidating than her gaze.

In this sentence, Ivana's eyes glazed over because she knew her words were right. She was well aware that Martha had never loved Brandon. Not once did Martha care about Brandon even though Brandon was sick.

Being a grandmother, just a title for Martha, never really fulfilled her function. This is what makes Ivana sad and hurt.

So according to him, from now on no one can corner Brandon especially Martha, her own grandmother.

Meanwhile, Martha was just stunned. It seemed like his attempt to convince Ivana, far from being successful. Just look at Ivana who is looking at him coldly and vexed.
