Irsyad and Kila are very long. Especially with Irsyad slowing down the speed of the bike, coupled with a hug Kila who did not slack in the slightest. During the trip no one opened his voice either Irsyad or Kila. Therefore, their journey felt long and time felt very slow.
After a long time on the way home, they finally reached home. The motor used was also turned off. But, already at home, now Kila is reluctant to go down. He still hugged Irsyad, like he did not want to take it off.
"Kila, why? Not going down? Still want to go for another walk?" ask Irsyad wonder.
"Once you love me, you won't let go of this hug? We're here, Kila. You can take it off if you want" said Irsyad. Kila was still reluctant to go down and even more tightened her embrace.
"Kila, why is it getting so tight?" inner Irsyad.
"I'm so happy to get a voluntary hug from you. But now it's time to get down. I also have to be ready to tidy up the goods to return to Turkey," said Irsyad again but not harried at all by Kila.
"Crazy, hey, what's wrong with you? Is there something you want to tell me?" asked Irsyad while looking back for a moment to see Kila. Kila nodded in response on Irsyad's back.
"Alright, please say it," cried Irsyad.
There was a little pause for Kila to make preparations about what she wanted to convey. Irsyad was a little curious because Kila seemed to be talking about something serious.
"But last time on the bike, Irsyad's sister had something to talk about as well, right?" alibi Kila postponed. He still seems not ready to prepare.
"Yes, indeed. But you're the first one. I'm late," replied Irsyad.
"You want to convey it while hugging me? Your hug won't come off. Not good to know, for my heart," said Irsyad teasingly to force Kila to speak immediately. Because, Kila gives another pause before that.
"Let the gini go until Kila's done talking, huh, sister?" kila Pinta. Actually he did not dare to look at Irsyad for this disclosure. By hugging Irsyad from behind, he could divert not to look Irsyad in the eyes. He also felt guilty about what he did. He thought, by hugging Irsyad even longer will make up for his mistake even if only a little.
"Yes, no problem. Yes, you continue. What do you want to say?" Irsyad.
"Before, Kila wanted to go to big brother. Does Irsyad always wear our wedding rings even though we are in Turkey?" ask Kila as the opening before the preparations are really ripe.
"Why ask that? Of course I always wear it. This ring is my marital status. This ring is a sign of my loyalty to my wife. This ring as a code to all the conspicuous women approached me, if I had known that I already had a wife it would undermine their intentions. I am very proud to wear this ring. Never once have I taken it off." Irsyad explained while showing a ring that was coiled around his finger to Kila. Kila could only glance from behind. Irsyad also tried to keep up with Kila, he understood that Kila did not want to discuss this topic by staring at each other. So Irsyad spoke only looking straight at the ring he showed.
"Sir, about the restaurant earlier..," said Kila was cut off. There was a sign that Kila was starting to want to express what she wanted to say.
"Why at the restaurant? About this ring?" ask Irsyad. Kila nodded at Irsyad's back.
"May I know why? That's also what I want to talk to you about," Irsyad responded quickly.
"If we never wear our wedding ring after the contract and we vacation together at that time. Kila cannot bear the status as his wife Irsyad. People must have thought that we were a strange married couple, living far apart and when Kak Irsyad returned to Indonesia, we never slept together."
"If you don't want to hold this status. Just, it felt like the ring was giving a mind load to Kila. Kila also did not want to keep thinking about the status of Kila now, because every look at the ring Kila remembered how incapable Kila was to carry out the role of wife. Kila hasn't been able to hear people's words about Kila's ugliness and Kila's incompetence."
"Wearing the ring also slightly hindered Kila in the lecture. Surely every friend will ask about the status of Kila's marriage if he sees a circular ring on Kila's finger. Kila avoided it to be more focused, according to Kila's initial goal to quickly graduate and if possible along with Kak Irsyad. Kila is also not ready to be introduced by Irsyad as sister's wife. Kila feels that the marriage we live in is only a compulsion because of the will of the grandmother. Kila didn't know what to explain to those who asked how we ended up being a couple like this."
All the preparations made by Kila have matured and what he wants to convey has been revealed all. There was relief in the heart, but with Irsyad's response afterwards it was heartbreaking for Kila.
Irsyad let go of Kila's embrace. At once, Kila's tears fell. The hug was removed by Irsyad. What causes it, makes Kila think negatively about Irsyad's dislike of the reason Kila did not wear their wedding ring.
Irsyad stood in front of Kila who was still sitting on the bike. He looked at Kila deeply, looking Kila who was trying to wipe away her tears that were constantly flowing.
"This time don't refuse anymore. Let me wipe away your tears" Irsyad asked for permission. Kila then stopped wiping away her tears and let Irsyad do it instead.
"No need to worry about that. It's just a ring, you don't wear it won't change your status as my wife. If you don't wear it, it doesn't matter to me. We are also a young couple, our marriage is still corn. Let time run until you are ready to wear it. In the future, I will carefully introduce you as my wife, because your comfort is more important," said Irsyad while she brushed off Kila's tears.
"Aren't you angry? Not disappointed?" ask Kila. This time Kila tried to stare back at Irsyad.
"No, not at all. I'm glad you want to tell me. I suck at understanding feelings, let alone women's feelings. I'm not angry or disappointed, because I'm trying to understand your feelings" Irsyad replied gently soothing Kila.
"If you're not angry, Brother Irsyad why did you take off Kila's embrace?" ask Kila again.
"I can't stand talking without looking at each other. This is it, right, better. I can see your weak side when crying like this. But take it easy, it won't diminish your beauty in my eyes" replied Irsyad teasingly. Kila smiled at Irsyad's words.
"Well, that, dong. If the smile becomes more beautiful, deh," continued Irsyad membombal.
"Sister Irsyad can be a dreadful thing. Where do you learn from?" kila asked bravely, but her face was down.
"No need to know. The important thing is I can please you."
