Ethan turned around as if he had just heard a joke.
"What did you say?"
"I told you you had to take me back to Drake's house!"
Aden's face was slightly red from embarrassment. He knew that this request was asking
too much and even a little silly.
It's not bad that Ethan let her live.
Otherwise, according to Greencliff's rules, he should have been dead a long time ago!
"Say that again." Ethan turned around while Brother Geoff was already standing in front
Aden. When Ethan says that word, he'll strangle Aden's neck!
Aden had no way of retaliating at all.
"Someone wants to kill me and doesn't want me to stay alive. If you
letting go of me now, is killing me." Aden hesitated
for a moment before continuing with gritted teeth, "If that's the case, you
better kill me now!"
Ethan nodded. "I will grant your wish."
Brother Geoff immediately reached out to lift Aden off the floor and
clutching throat!
"Wait wait!" Aden slapped Brother Geoff's hand and his face
bluer. He only says it's out of spite and doesn't expect Ethan
so determined to kill him!
Brother Geoff released him.
"If you don't want to take me back, I'd rather stay at Greencliff."
Aden gasps and can barely stare at Ethan.
Greencliff is pretty safe. Before his wounds were fully healed, there was none
who could kill him.
Desmond had come once, so there was no way he could come for a second
a time.
As soon as he recovered, he would return home and settle the matter
with the bloody Clifford!
"Are you not worried if you don't come back now, you won't
have a place in the Drake family in the future?" Ethan gave her a smile
sour. "I'll be honest with you. When I went to Drake's house, I
can say that some of them think that you are dead,
and most of them believe that you can't get the manual
from me, and you're a disgrace to the Drake family."
"You know very well what kind of man the Drake family head is. If you are
shaming the family, what consequences are waiting for you?"
Aden's expression got worse.
"I also heard that the Fourth Young Master of the Drake family did not lose
of you in terms of gifts, knowledge, or even the number of members
family by his side."
Aden froze completely when he heard these words.
The struggle to become the next head of the family has been intense ever since
still kids.
Her eldest sister, Mallory, is only interested in taking care of the house

The one who tried to kill him earlier was Desmond!
Even though he had tried to cover up, the move must have belonged to Desmond!
He was Clifford's most trusted subordinate, so the one who
want him dead must be Clifford.
The bloody idiot didn't want him to stay alive and didn't want him to go back to the
drake's family!
After thinking about all this, Aden struggled to stand up and walked to the door.
"Ethan! Wait!" he screamed while panting. "What do you want?!"
Ade's not stupid. If he wants Ethan to help him, then he has to pay
the price.
If not, no matter the initial plan to get the manual or
kill Ethan – no matter how much he does, there won't be
a place for him in the clan. What's the point of doing so much?
