Diane immediately panicked and stepped on the brakes. The car is not traveling at speed
high, but he still hit a pedestrian.
His face instantly paled as he turned on the hazard lights and ran out
from the car while his heart was pounding nonstop.
"Are you .. are you okay?" Dian's face was filled with worry. Woman
the one he hit was wearing a big hat and sunglasses and covered almost
whole face.
He may not realize that the car is going to turn right.
"I'm. I'm fine."
Victoria wore a pair of high heels. She wears it back with
right and tried to stand up, but there was pain in his ankle.
He bit his lips slightly and whimpered in pain. Diane became more anxious.
"I'm sorry! I-i'm sorry! I didn't see you! I'm really sorry!
Let me send you to the hospital!"
"I'm fine, don't worry. I didn't pay attention to your car either, so
it's my fault, too."
Victoria was also very sorry. He was wearing a hat and sunglasses so
he didn't see the car coming either. He felt that he had to carry
greater responsibility.
He felt a little awkward seeing how this woman who hit him was
it looks so anxious and worried.
Victoria arrived at the hotel very late the night before. After hiding
all night, he wanted to go early in the morning to eat, but on
it ended in a car accident.
He did not dare to attract unnecessary attention and quickly tried
to stand up and go, but his ankle is too sore and he even
can't stand.
"You're not okay at all! Legs hurt! I'll send you to
the hospital now!" Dian insists. He helped Victoria into the car
and go to the hospital.
The Greencliff First Hospital.
When the hospital director heard that Diane came to the hospital because
he was involved in a car accident, he immediately arranged for a bone specialist, he said,
internal medicine, the surgical department, and every specialist he can find
to treat. Victoria got a surprise.
He just twisted his ankle.
Diane obviously came from a rich and powerful family.
But compared to those from such a family, Diane
totally different.
Victoria had seen many rich and powerful people in her life. But he
never seen anything like Diane. Diane is so innocent and kind
so her eyes glazed over when she realized that she had hurt
Victoria.
"I'm absolutely fine," Victoria smiled and gently patted
hand Diane. "You don't have to worry."
After all, Victoria was the one who should have shouldered more
"If you feel unwell anywhere, tell your doctor. I would
make sure you're treated well and healed well" says Diane
very seriously. "It's all my fault. My husband usually drives me,
but I wanted to try driving myself today, and I ended up bumping into you."
"I'm too careless."
"Oh no no, it was just an accident," Victoria comforted Diane, as if Diane were
wounded. "Don't worry, the doctor said everything's fine."
Once they have checked the injury, the specialist makes sure that it is only
sprain and no other problems. Diane finally heaved a sigh of relief.
He decides to let Ethan drive starting tomorrow and
henceforth. He's a little traumatized now.
"Where do you live? I'll send you back," Diane said as they
get out of the hospital.
Victoria refused any compensation because she did not want to cause any trouble
any more. He came to Greencliff to hide, so it's better to hide.
Moreover, this young lady did not seem to recognize him at all.
He had taken off his hat and sunglasses long enough, but Diane seemed to be
not reacting at all.
This is despite the fact that she has released several singles this year and
he's very popular.
"I'm staying at a hotel." Victoria imagined that there might be someone else
who would recognize him even if Diane didn't. He sprained his ankle
and can't walk, so it might be safer to pick up Diane's car
in exchange. "I have to trouble you to send me back to the hotel."
"Sure!"
Diane helped Victoria into the passenger seat, closed the door, and then returned
to the driver's seat.
After taking a few deep breaths and preparing yourself
mentally, Diane said, "Alright, we're leaving!"
Diane was still a little nervous, but Victoria looked very relaxed and out of sight
worried at all.
After a while, Diane also relaxed. While waiting at the traffic light, he
turn on the music to make Victoria feel better.
"This song is really good and I've been listening to it a lot lately" Diane
smile when you speak. "I feel that this singer has a lot
thoughts."
Victoria was a little surprised by this.
Radio is now playing his latest song, Wish. Diane likes the song?
But Diane didn't recognize him.
"Oh? How do you know?" Victoria just turned to look at Diane and
put a curious expression plain on his face. "What do you think there is
in mind?"
"He's not happy" Diane replied. "The lyrics of this song are happy, but I feel like he's not
really happy inside."
