What is Ethan talking about?
What he meant when he referred to it as free advertising that could not
they wasted?
Steven is now trying his best to destroy William's reputation in
in front of the whole town of Greencliff and tarnish his reputation. This is not advertising.

There's no need for Ethan to say too much. Diane didn't say
what he wanted to say. He's used to believing in Ethan.
