Dian still doesn't understand. He wanted to ask why, but in the end he
just sit.
As Ethan and Diane sat down, everyone breathed a sigh of relief and took
their seats carefully.
But no one dared to say a word.
They did not even dare to breathe too loudly, let alone speak.
Wesley Allen in particular, was very scared. He had seen that nightmare on the way
it was that night!
He doesn't know how many of Luke Talon's men made it out alive
alive that night.it's a slaughterhouse!
And the man behind it all is a seemingly harmless man who
seems to love his wife.
The atmosphere became very awkward as everyone remained silent. That's not
it bothers Ethan, but Diane feels uncomfortable.
"Just talk." Ethan noticed this and spoke. "Please and talk
whatever you want."
Everyone quickly started talking and they didn't even know what
which they talk about. But because Ethan told them to talk, they didn't
dare silence.
"It looks like they're so scared of you" Diane whispered. "Are you bluffing
they?"
Ethan replies, "I was just thinking about bluffing you."
Diane blushed and said nothing more.
When it was time, Butler Zed walked in with a big smile and said,
"Everyone, Mr. Rane has changed clothes, please move to the next hall."
Ethan gets up and pulls Diane up before anyone else dares to stand up.
Everyone walked to the next hall, and there was a large round table. It looks
quite majestic and definitely not an ordinary table.
"Mrs. Hunt, please come this way."
Butler Zed sat everyone in his place. Ethan's in the chair
second best, followed by Diane. The order after that is not important.
Everyone knows that as long as Ethan exists, no one else is worthy
termed.
Soon, they could hear the sound of footsteps followed by laughter
hard and warm.
"I'm sorry for making everyone wait so long!"
young was healthy and looked like a smiling Buddha.
"Mr Ran!" Everyone stood up and greeted him politely.
Diane wanted to stand up as well, but Ethan did not budge at all.
"Ethan" he whispered to her, but Ethan still didn't budge. She holds
his hand and whispered back, "It's okay, you don't need to be too formal in
around Master Rane."
It's not about being formal or not.
"This young lady must be Diane, right?"
Master Rane was not at all bothered by Ethan's insolence. Even
if Ethan decides to lie down, he won't say anything.
"Hello Mr. Rane. I heard from Ethan that today is his birthday
your year, and I came even though I did not prepare any gifts
for Your. Mr. Rane, happy birthday," Diane said with a smile.
She is an innocent young woman and has said it all
these words honestly. Master Rane has seen so many lives, and
I can say that he is sincere.
"Thank you thank you!" Master Rane felt touched inside.
He was really touched. For the past fifty years, there has only been one
someone other than Diane who sincerely wishes you a happy birthday. It's very
I miss this feeling.
"Everyone, sit down."
Mr. Rane didn't look at Ethan. He sat down on the main chair of the table and looked
perimeter. His gaze stopped on Diane for a moment.
Diane noticed he was looking at her, so she slightly nodded, and Master
Rane nodded in return.
She smiles. "It was a great fortune for Ethan to meet
with a girl like you."
Master Rane says this is purely from a man's point of view and nothing
the other.
She is an innocent, simple and kind girl. Master Rane even felt
that Ethan wasn't worthy enough for her.
Diane was a little embarrassed. Is this a compliment?
"Thank you, Mr. Rane."
He turns to look at Ethan, but he seems to be expecting this,
as if he was the one being praised.
