Viktoria shook her head.
"How can I be ashamed? All I did was sing and I
never do anything embarrassing for you or let go
my dignity, so what have I done wrong?" There was a bitter smile on
his face and he gave up. "You'd rather listen to what other people have
tell me instead of trusting your own daughter."
"Is there anything clean about the entertainment industry?" raung Shawn Clark's.
Many people gossiped about him, saying that there were many implicit rules
in this industry, so many people are willing to sell their bodies and
giving up their dignity to gain a better connection and
be famous.
Even if Victoria can survive, there are a lot of bad guys in the world. Is
they're gonna let Victoria off easily?
"There," replied Victoria. "My current boss is taking very good care of me and is not
it's a problem if I don't do anything but sing. I don't need to
doing something else I don't want."
"Your boss?" Shawn's expression instantly changed.
He walked up to Victoria and looked straight at her with those eyes
in when he asked fiercely, "What boss? Is it a man or a woman?
Why is he taking good care of you?!"
There is no free lunch in the world. Shawn believes this boss has no good intentions.
He himself was a man, and knew how bad men were.
"He didn't do anything to me, you think too much about it."
"Huh, now he's not doing anything. What about in the future?
You think he's nice to you for no reason? You're too young to know what
what's!" Shawn Clark was angry and anxious. "Where is he? Tell him to meet me!
I'll make him end his contract with you!"
Victoria was amused.
He did not understand why his own father had always considered the entertainment industry
as a dirty place. He probably felt the same way in the past,
but things have changed.
The boss is Ethan, Diane's husband.
He was a man of straight principles and a gentleman of honor. He doesn't care about
that implicit rule.
Ethan is so amazing that if he's open to it, a lot of women are
will throw yourself at him now.
"He's very busy and doesn't have time to meet you" Victoria replied
slow down and wave his hand. "Forget it, I don't want to talk anymore.
Since you don't want to see me, then I'll leave now."
He turned around and his phone started ringing again.
Victoria raised the call, and when Shawn heard a man's voice, he,
he took the phone from her.
"Are you Victoria's boss?"
"I."
There was a pause on the other side before Ethan answered.
"It's really you!" Shawn's face fell as he heard the agreed answer
Victoria didn't have a job today. So, if his boss calls him in the morning, then,
he must be not okay.
"I wanted to take her to lunch" Ethan replied honestly.
He really has bad intentions!
Shawn Clark understood.
First food, then drink. Then after dropping too much, what will
happened?
Although he was no longer young, he knew things like what was happening in the current world
these.
Fortunately he had caught this guy in time, otherwise Victoria would have
suffer!
"He's home now, you can pick him up." Shawn has a desire
to break Ethan's leg. He suppressed his anger and said, "Academy
The Martial Arts of Clark. You should have found it."
He then hung up the phone.
Victoria's a little angry.
"Dad, how can you do that? I'm sure Ethan has a good reason
to call."
What tone of voice did Shawn use?
He clearly doubts Ethan and views Ethan as one of those people
a man full of evil thoughts.
But Ethan isn't that kind of person at all. He has Diane, and his heart
he will have no one else but him.
"Good excuse? You're not working today, so what does he want
from you?" Shawn grunting. "When he gets here, I'll show you
to him that none of my daughters are easily bullied!"
He then rushed to tidy up the sandbags.
When he could not hold it in, he would punch the sandbags again and again
to produce a loud explosion.
On the other hand, Ethan put down the phone and turned to Diane who was combing
her hair.
"Victoria's at home, and I think her father picked up the phone. She said
we can find him at his house."
"His place?" Dian turned. "I've never been to Victoria's house before."
In fact, Victoria rarely mentioned her family. He seems unrelated
good with them, so Diane never asked.
"Then let's go find him."
Diane looked at herself in the mirror and felt that her hair must have looked very
good today, and that's why Ethan keeps looking at her.
They both took a taxi to Clark Martial Arts Academy. It's pretty far from the center
the city and built in an older area, so everything nearby was as well
looks a little old. The nameplate right in front is obviously very often cleaned and
there was not a speck of dust on it.
Ethan is standing at the entrance. He stared at the signboard and narrowed slightly
his eye.
