A big chess game!
The north has now become a great chess game, and all the forces in the north
it's on the chessboard.
How much effort has been done?
But no one realized this was happening until this news suddenly leaked out and
make everyone off guard.
Damien's expression was firm and his voice was low. He was never so grim
preceding.
"But, we're pawns in this game too!"
The next thing he said made everyone's expression as firm as his.
The implications of these words are incredible and hard to bear.
If the family is very strong like the Long family, the family with strength
most powerful, it had become a pawn, then how frightening the one who set up
a chess-playing?
"It's a very big effort," Damien frowned. In spite of
the Long family was part of this mess, he couldn't help but admire
this fellow. "I don't know that's extraordinary enough to actually even make this long part of the family without us even realizing it. Before this, I didn't
would've ever thought that something like that could happen."
He had been observing the north very closely. Even the smallest movement
will not escape his sight.
He was not the only one watching either. There are so many others who
keep an eye on things like him every day.
One needs this kind of alertness and jelly skills to
surviving in the north. You should be aware of the problem as early as possible and
solve it early on before the problem gets bigger.
But before anyone realized anything, someone had prepared
this great chess game in the north.
The Long Family was a pawn with everyone.
"Where's the information?" ask one of them.
"Nobody knows, it's a very hidden channel. Even me
don't know this time." Damien sneers. "Do you think someone is capable
doing something like this would reveal itself in that way
easy?"
"But there's one thing I believe in. The man behind all this must be hiding in the
in one of the very strong families!"
His words made everyone alert.
The North only had four very powerful families. Other than the Long family, there are
the Biggs family, the Snow family, and the Hunt family.
the Hunt family had a comfortable marriage many years ago, but
the two families did not seem to be getting any closer even after more than
a decade.
And these families were even more suspicious!
"Can't we clarify our stance?" someone else asked. "Although
we don't need to be bothered by a bunch of second-tier families, things are possible
it becomes complicated if others continue to misunderstand us."
"Clear our stance? Do you think there are people who will
trust us?" damien's scorn.
It was hard to see anything on this already messy chessboard. But the moment
someone chosen and branded as the mastermind, the chessboard instantly lives on and will
it becomes more dangerous and unpredictable.
One of the pawns could suddenly be eliminated, and even the Long family was not
excepted.
"All right now, I don't have to say it anymore. I called all
people are here today because I want to tell you to be vigilant from the day forward
this and the next." He said in a loud voice, "Especially those who
have an important position in the Long Group. You all better be careful
in the things you say and the things you do, understand?"
"Yes, Mr. Long," everyone answered in unison.
He turned to look at Angelica and said, "Angelica, Long Group too
big and it's not just a trump card for the family, but more of a burden.
Do you understand what I'm trying to say?"
"I understand," Angelica nodded. "I know what to do."
"That's great." Damien nodded and got up.
He doesn't want to say too much. There is no point in saying too
a lot at this moment. The chess games will keep changing, and they just
you have to adapt along the way.
Everyone left and only Angelica was still in the hall.
"Is there anything you want to tell me?" Damien was about to leave the hall when
Angelica called.
"Yes," Angelica nodded. He waited until everyone left before
whispering to his father, "Dad, there are some Long family members who are too
many are involved in Long Groups. Besides, they are also very close
relationship with some people from other countries. I don't
think this is a good sign."
Damian frowned. "Are you talking about your Third Uncle?"
