Victoria ran out from behind and was instantly enraged when she saw how
his father approaches Ethan.
"You've gone too far! How can you do this!" He's fast
run in front of Ethan and block Shawn's path. "Are you hurt? I
really sorry!"
Diane runs into Ethan and feels relieved after he checks and sees that
Ethan was not hurt at all.
"You're scaring me!"
Ethan did nothing. Shawn was all red in the face and it was filled
with anger and he felt that this was unfair to him.
Is he someone who doesn't know how to behave?
Did his daughter really think that she would really hurt
someone younger?
After all, if one of them gets hurt, it's Shawn who gets hurt.
Diane doesn't know him, so it doesn't matter. But Victoria is his daughter
by yourself! He defended her and protected her, so why did he blame her
now it?
Shawn's angry enough to scold someone right now.
"Hubby, as long as you're okay. I'm really scared."
Diane patted her heart and let out a long sigh of relief.
Shawn freezes for a moment when he hears what Diane calls Ethan.
"You're his wife?" he looked at Diane.
Dian nodded.
"Then Viktoria..."
"Victoria is my best friend" Diane replied with a smile. "Uncle Clark, name
I'm Diane Palmer. Didn't Victoria ever mention me before?"
Shawn's head turned. Diane's name sounds very familiar. He's not sure
did Victoria have told him about him before, but he felt
like he had heard this name so often in Starling City recently.
If she's this guy's wife, then what's Victoria's relationship with this guy?
"He really is my boss. He protected me because I was best friends with him
Diane's. Do you understand now?" victoria said in frustration because of him
she knows that Shawn has misunderstood his relationship with Ethan.
"I'm so glad you didn't hurt Ethan. How will I be responsible
answer to Diane if that happens?"
"They came looking for me because they were leaving Starling City today
and want to eat with me before I leave. Nothing serious at all, so
why did you have to attack so hard?"
"It's okay, nothing happened. I was just arguing with Uncle Clark
and he knows where to draw the line, so he won't hurt me" Ethan
quickly try to resolve the situation after seeing Shawn and feeling
pity him.
He knows that Shawn has misunderstood his relationship with
Victoria. Shawn thinks Ethan used his status as Victoria's boss
to take advantage of him, and Shawn tries to teach Ethan
lesson and scare him.
He was a tough, conservative middle-aged man who loved deeply
his daughter but does not know how to express his love.
Shawn's eyes are a little red now.
He had never experienced such injustice before.
Injured?
He was the one who was almost injured!
Ethan is a madman whose abilities are so extraordinary that he
frightful. Shawn is a veteran boxer who is at a level
grandmaster, but it did not have the upper hand when he fought with
Ethan's. If they really fought each other, Shawn would definitely die!
But in the end, he was scolded.
What logic is this?!
"It's too late to go out and eat now, so stay here and
eat simple here. I'll cook some dishes and send
you guys go to the airport." Victoria immediately turned to Diane to ask for her opinion
without looking at Clark.
Diane said nothing and looked at Shawn, fearing Shawn was unhappy.
"There's food in the fridge, you can cook something" Shawn snorted.
Diane nodded and followed Victoria backwards again.
Ethan is about to follow them but Shawn calls him.
Dian was not worried. He knew they would never fight again.
The training room was left with only Ethan and Shawn again.
Shawn walked to the entrance and closed the door. His expression became very
emphatically.
He walked over to Ethan and his gaze deepened. He looks very much now
different from the father who loved his daughter before.
"The grandmasters who came to Starling City were—do you kill
they?"
