Roman turned and left. Angelica finally breathed a sigh of relief.
He was really afraid Roman would fight back.
He's not worried Ethan's gonna get hurt. He's worried Ethan might not
deliberately killing Roman and offending the Biggs family. That's gonna be very difficult
to handle.
Although they all came from very powerful families, the Biggs family
it is the most low profile of them all and there is almost no information
about them at all.
The fewer people who know about the Biggs, the more potential
their danger.
"I can't believe even the Biggs are paying attention to Ethan right now,"
Angelica frowned. Of course he knows who Ethan really is.
But the rest of the very powerful families may have guessed that much and
I will keep trying to see if they are right.
"Someone might want to kill Uncle Hunt to force Ethan
reveal himself."
His face was full of worry.
If Ethan doesn't do anything, Thomas may be really deep
peril. But if Ethan saves her, then it's the same as admitting
their relationship.
But Angelica knows that Ethan has no attachment to Thomas, so
there's no way Ethan's gonna save Thomas.
He suddenly stopped for a moment. Why Ethan intentionally uttered
goodbye to him before he leaves?
Did he tell her to tell Thomas about this?
Angelica did not hesitate anymore and quickly drove towards Hunt's house.
Thomas was sitting in his study and staring at the painting on the wall. Him
still in a daze.
He often just looked at the painting and became dazed. His eyes are not focused
on anything and it looks more like being daydreaming than studying
that painting.
Jack sat on one side and carefully made the tea.
"Uncle Hunt, you better not go to the fair. You can't go,"
angelica said worriedly. "Roman Biggs said that someone wanted to kill you,
and I don't think he's kidding!"
"Jack, are you done with the tea? Why so long? I want Angelica
try this tea."
keep staring at the painting on the wall.
Angelica became more anxious.
"Yes sir." Jack poured a cup of tea and put it in front
Angelica. "Miss Long, please have some tea."
But Angelica was not in the mood for tea.
He went crazy because of his anxiety.
"It's punk's favorite tea."
These words left Angelica confused for a while.
He stared at the steaming teacup and his heart was pounding. Him
hold out your hand and take the cup.
Ethan's favorite tea?
"Try."
Angelica took a slight sip and immediately started frowning.
"It's so bitter!"
What is this tea?!
Why does Ethan like to drink such bitter tea? His tongue was numb because
unexpected bitterness of tea.
"I am the one who brought this bitterness to her" Thomas said. "If I die, he
maybe be happier."
When it came to the topic of death, Thomas did not look upset or burdened
heavy. Instead, he seemed a little happy and even relieved.
When she hears from Angelica that Ethan has no reaction at all when
he heard someone wanted to kill him, Thomas knew it was a reaction
normal from Ethan.
"Uncle Hunt, Ethan..." Angelica also did not know how to say it.
He knows that he may never have Ethan, but he doesn't
ethan and Thomas want to be lifelong enemies.
"By the way," Thomas sat curiously in front of Angelica
and it seemed that his mood was not affected at all. "You know Dian?"
"Yes," Angelica put down her cup. "I've met him twice."
Angelica's heart suddenly relaxed at the thought of Diane. He's happy to lose to Diane.
Especially after the last time Diane stood in front of him to protect him
even though there is danger. Angelica knew that she must have lost.
"He was very kind, very kind" Angelica said. "He's more suited than me to
be Ethan's wife."
