Ethan doesn't seem to care what Stanley says
all his time at the office.
Ethan seriously came here because he just needed a place to smoke.
After all, he had never smoked in front of Diane. She never
stop him from smoking, but he doesn't like him smoking in front of him.
Even after Ethan left the office, Stanley was still sitting there without
words as she watched Ethan walk out the door and disappear.
It took a while before he calmed down and started cursing.
"Who do you think you are!"
"You want me to beg you? Dream on!"
"Palmer Group can forget about taking any data from me!!"
Stanley screamed so loud that his voice echoed through the corridor, but Ethan
pretending to hear nothing.
He came back down by elevator. The receptionist's face was all red because of her
very excited, as if he had just woken up from a dream.
When she sees Ethan coming out, she quickly runs and greets him with
well-mannered. "Master Hunt?"
"Yes?" Ethan nodded.
"Thank you! Thank you very much!" He could not hold it anymore and continued
repeating himself so as not to get too excited.
Ethan had given her a business card before and told her to
to call a number on that card if he wants to switch to more work
good.
She went to the bathroom to try it, and when she said that
a very handsome man gave him this number to look for a job
better yet, the other party agreed.
He felt like he was dreaming!
The other party asked him what he could do and what salary he had
expect it, and he already can't trust his ears. He can only
told him that he was a receptionist and he just
expect $5,000 a month.
It was already $2,000 more than what he got now.
He had just said that as a joke and did not consider all of this
tangible. But the other party seemed a little unhappy and said that
since his Big Boss had recommended it, then for a receptionist
to bring home less than $10,000 a month is a disgrace to the Boss
Magnitude. He paid $15,000 a month and had her report to
work the next day!
This ...it's like a dream.
He realized that he had actually hit the jackpot.
"Either. Just remember, kindness will produce good." Ethan is not
much talk. He just wanted to reward the receptionist because
be nice to him.
Ethan walked out of the building.
Diane and the others were still waiting in the car.
After Ethan entered, Diane quickly asked, "How did it go? Is
he's gonna give us the data?"
said a lot of bad things.
Even if he was willing to give it to them, it would be the price
very high for the Palmer Group. There's no way they didn't take
this opportunity to extort as much money from the Palmer Group as possible.
"Of course he's willing" Ethan replied seriously. "That Stanley even said
that he'll finish everything and send it to us
personally."
"Thank you?"
This doesn't sound real.
Never mind Diane, even Sabine doesn't believe that much.
He knows such an organization very well. They are the type
using the little power they had to reap the benefits
as much as possible for themselves, and they will not let go
data is easy.
Besides, now it's the Palmer Group that's asking them for something, so
they control the Palmer Group.
Stanley is clearly supported and controlled by someone from L'Oreal. L'Oreal
it's a brand that's suffering from the trap Ethan set. Are they
would it be so good for the Palmer Group?
Sabine didn't think so.
But Ethan says that Stanley has agreed to provide the data
to the Palmer Group, and he'll even send it to them
in person.
So, no matter how impossible it sounds, Sabine chooses to
trusting Ethan.
"If he refuses, I'll beat him until he does!" jeers
Tristani.
He doesn't like to make things so complicated. Using his fists much more
effortlessly. If one blow does not work, then two blows. If two do not succeed,
then he will use as much as needed!
"Here we go" Ethan shook his head. "Sabine, teach your sister well
and make sure he doesn't turn into a barbarian."
"okay." Sabine glared at her brother, then asked, "What should we do
next one?"
"Eat," replied Ethan calmly. "There's a private kitchen around here that's enough
good, let's go there, buy me."
Everyone is dumbfounded.
Sabine obviously asked about the next step in getting the data, though,
not about eating.
But since Ethan wants to eat, then they don't mind.
Stanley sees their car go from his office window and taunts it with
chilly.
"Where did this madman come from? Is everyone in the Palmer Group crazy?
They think I'm gonna ask them to take the data? Foundational
idiot!" Stanley sneers. "It seems I should tell Miss Bates to
teaching Palmer Group a harder lesson!"
